PART 15
Next morning, Alekh and Sakshi had waken up to a crying baby. Sakshi slowly got up whereas Alekh sat up rubbing his eyes. Alekh picked him up and held him against his chest trying to stop baby from crying. Sakshi looked at Alekh who had his eyes closed and was slowly patting the baby. This sight was not to be missed and she slowly wiped a teardrop from her eyes seeing Alekh bonding with the baby.
Alekh: Sakshi, tum jakar fresh ho jao tabh tak main yahan baithta hoon
Sakshi: Jee.
On the other hand, Anmol woke up and had freshened up while Ragini was still sleeping since she was tired from all day yesterday. He looked at her quietly; how beautiful she looked even while sleeping, he thought to himself. Pushing his thoughts aside, he walked upto the bed to wake her up. He slowly whispered "Ragini" trying not to wake her up with a jitter but it was no avail. He, then shook her a little by placing his hands on her left arm. Ragini rubbed her eyes and saw Anmol so close to her. She quickly got up and noticed that Anmol had already freshened up.
Anmol: Good Morning, Ragini.
Ragini: Good Morning. Are aapne mujhe pehle kyun nahi uthaaya, kitna late ho gaya. Neeche naashta bhi tayar karna hai aur Sakshi ko bhi dekhna hai ki voh abh kaisi hain.
Anmol: Are bas bas, itni tension lene ki jaroorat nahi hai. Aap kal bhag daud ki wajah se thak gayi thi to isliye maine disturb nahi kiya. Guddi ne naashta tayar kar liya hai.
Ragini nodded and got up from the bed. She quickly made her way to the washroom to take shower. After few minutes, she came outside and quickly got ready. Then both Anmol and Ragini made their way to Alekh's room to see them and the baby. Alekh had also freshened up and Sakshi was putting new clothes on the baby.
Ragini: Sakshi, apki tabiyat kaisi hai?
Sakshi: Bas theek hai didi, thoda sa dard hai.
Ragini: Sakshi, aap araam kijiye aur baby ko main sambhal loongi.
Anmol: Are humara baby kaisa hai?
Anmol picked the baby and smiled at him as he kissed his forehead.
Anmol: Are bhaiya, iska naamkaran bhi karna hoga nai, aapne koi naam socha.
Alekh: Nahi abhi tak to nahi. Tumhare dimaag main hai koi naam to batao.
Just then Vasu and Inderjeet walked in the room and Gunni on the other hand had waken up Tammy and Khushi and was helping them get ready.
Vasu: Hum soch rahe hain ki shaam ko pandit ji ko bula kar naamkaran ki ceremony karlein.
Inderjeet: Haan Vasu theek keh rahi hai; bas hum aur Sharma family hogi. Jayada bada get together nahi hoga, kyun Sakshi beta theek hai na?
Sakshi: Jee papa, jaisa aap sabh theek samjhein.
Ragini stayed with Sakshi in the room and she told Gunni to bring the breakfast upstairs whereas everyone else went downstairs. Anmol and Alekh went to office for an urgent meeting later on. Gunni, Tammy, and Khushi spent their day playing with the baby. Ragini invited Sharma family for the naamkaran ceremony in the evening. Later on, she calls Anmol to remind him to come early from office. Anmol smiled seeing Ragini's name flashing on the phone.
Anmol: Haan kahiye, Ragini.
Ragini: Anmol, aapko yaad hai na shaam ko naamkaran ceremony hai isliye aap aur Jija Ji apna kaam jaldi khatam kar lijiyega. Aur lautte waqt pooja ka samaan bhi le aayiye.
Anmol: Jee, mujhe ache se yaad hai shaam ka program aur aap fikar mat kijye, main sara samaan le aaoonga. Aur koi humare laayak sewa, madam?
Ragini: Nahi abhi bas itna hi aur haan ache se lunch kar lijiyega.
Anmol: Jee madam aapka hukam saar aankhon par. Shaam ko milta hoon. Bye.
Ragini: Bye.
Anmol hung up the phone smiling at the thought how she cared about him and made sure he ate properly at work. It was 5 in the evening when Alekh and Anmol walked in Rajvansh house. Anmol handed over the stuff to Ragini which was required for the pooja.
Ragini: Jija Ji, aap jakar fresh ho jaiye main chai lekar aati hoon.
Alekh: Thanks Ragini.
Ragini: Anmol, aap bhi tayar ho jayiye jaldi se, bahut kaam pada hai abhi. Aur aap zara Tammy aur Khushi ko bhi dekh lijiyega ki voh tayar huyi ke nahi.
Anmol: Theek hai main jaldi si tayar hokar neeche aakar apki help karta hoon.
Ragini went to the kitchen while Anmol went to go get ready. He got the kids ready with the help of Gunni and later went downstairs to help Ragini for the pooja. Everything was ready and Sharma family had arrived. Ragini hugged her mom and dad; welcomed them in. Later she went upstairs and slowly brought Sakshi downstairs while Alekh was holding the baby. Pandit jee began the pooja and eveyone was happy.
Pandit: Abh aap bache ka naam ka batayiye.
Everyone looked around wondering who will choose the name and if anyone has decided upon a name.
Alekh: Ragini, tum hi koi naam suggest karo.
Ragini: Iska naam hoga Sahil; aap dono ke naam ke pehle aksharon se naam shuru hota hai, S aur A. Sahil Rajvansh.
Everyone loved the name especially how it had first letter of Alekh and Sakshi's name. Anmol smiled at Ragini indicating he loved the name chosen by her.
Sakshi: Jee, pandit ji iska naam Sahil hi hoga.
Pandit jee then concluded the pooja and placed tilak on the baby and their parents; later distributed the parshaad amongst everyone. Everyone gave gifts as blessing to the baby later on and Sharma family left after having dinner. Tammy and Khushi were constantly calling the baby by its new name; Sahil.
