A short but hopefully fun part.... couldn't stand that we haven't had a nice AnGini moment on the show...so here is my solution to all you deewanis....
Part 4
Ragini could hear the sound of birds chirpingβ¦.it felt as though the sound was coming from somewhere far away. Her eyes opened and for a moment she didn't know where she was. She felt as though it was she who had been far away, as though she were coming back from some beautiful and marvelous dream, but a dream nonetheless. The previous night came back to her in flashesβ¦Had Anmol really said, "I want you Raginiβ¦I want you to be my wifeβ¦" and had she really responded to his passion, "Anmolβ¦I want you to be my husbandβ¦" Was that her? Had she said that? Was it true? Was it real? Had she dreamt it all?
She stirred, but something stopped her, she felt herself being held...She lifted her headβ¦Anmol! She was in Anmol's arms, her head on his chestβ¦.Everything came rushing back and she blushed and smiled. She couldn't remember how they ended up in bedβ¦after she told him that she loved him, everything was a blur of laughter and tears of joy. They must have fallen asleep in each other's arms, exhaustedβ¦As she nestled closer to him, her head on his chest, her hand on his chest. She felt at peace, she felt secure, she felt she had come homeβ¦ This was where she was meant to beβ¦.She could feel him breathing, she could feel his every breath with her entire body. She could smell him in her every breathβ¦.the faint smell of his aftershave, mingling with a scent that was all his ownβ¦strong, powerful and yet somehow tender and protectiveβ¦
Suddenly she wanted to see him, to see Anmol, her husband with her own eyes. Was this real? Were these really his arms around her? Did he really love her? Slowly she disentangled herself from his embrace. Raising herself up, she gazed at her sleeping husband, the man she loved, the man who loved her. She felt an immense gratitudeβ¦What a difference a few hours could make in one's life. Everything had seemed so bleak, so impossible yesterday afternoon and this morning she had woken up as the happiest and luckiest woman in the world! Anmol loved her! β¦And she loved himβ¦so very deeply. The intensity of her feelings for him surprised her. It astonished her to recognize and admit to herself how much and how deeply she loved this man. She hardly had had the time yesterdayβ¦everything had happened so quicklyβ¦but now she would savor it. Savor this moment when she could be alone with her feelings for him. She wouldn't have believed it possible to love like that, not againβ¦.she didn't know she could have had it in her.
What was most astonishing was that she felt like she had loved him foreverβ¦How was that possible?! She had closed herself off from every feeling, every emotionβ¦but he had broken through all her defenses. How could she have been so blind to her own feelings for this wonderful man? She felt angry with herselfβ¦She would lose no more timeβ¦she'd been given a second chance and she would make up for everythingβ¦every hurtful thing she had said, every inattention, every oversightβ¦Her eyes filled with tears, tears of regret, of gratitude, of hope, as she silently promised her sleeping husband. There was so much she wanted to tell him, so much she wanted to promise, so much she wanted to hearβ¦.but Anmol looked so peaceful sleeping, she didn't have the heart to wake him. She knew that she would have to get up sooner or later and start her dayβ¦.wake the children and make breakfast and do all the usual things she didβ¦But she couldn't. Not just yet. No matter how routine her day, her life was not going to be routine anymore. It was going to be filled with freshness and the promise of love and brightness and togetherness. No, she couldn't bring herself to leave Anmol yet. She felt as though she had just found himβ¦
Ragini couldn't tear her eyes away from Anmol's handsome face. She wanted to freeze that moment in time foreverβ¦Anmol's lips were curved into a smile and his hair had fallen across his forehead. Her heart filled with love for him as she brushed his hair away with her fingers, gently, tenderly. Suddenly she found herself gazing into his eyesβ¦ Anmol was awakeβ¦She could read his mind in every emotion that flickered across his eyesβ¦the same confusion, disbelief, memory, wonder and joyβ¦. they mirrored her own feelings so exactly. Then he smiled, and there was no need to say anything. They looked at each other, as if seeing each other for the first time, recognizing each other for the first time. For six long years they had been separated by so muchβ¦.but after last night they could and would put the past to rest and look aheadβ¦they would look forward to a lifetime together, as husband and wife. Ragini and Anmol promised each other silently.
Ragini's heart racedβ¦ "Anmolβ¦I.." She hardly knew what she was going to say, but before she could finish her thought, Anmol had reached up and put his finger to her lips...."sshhhhhβ¦" he whispered. Ragini's heart was pounding in her ears, and her lips parted at his touch. Anmol's gaze shifted to her beautiful mouth, mesmerized by her reaction to him. Hardly conscious of what he was doing, his hand moved to cradle her beautiful face. Not shifting his gaze from her mouth, he slowly brushed her soft lips with the back of his thumb. With the roughness of his thumb and yet the tenderness of his caress on her lips, Ragini felt the room spinning around herβ¦Yet she was frozenβ¦she couldn't move, couldn't breathe, couldn't thinkβ¦the world seem to spin furiously around her, but she was stillβ¦not conscious of anything but Anmol β¦It was only a matter of seconds, but it seemed like an age and when Anmol looked into her eyes again, his eyes were dark with passion and his breathing was ragged and uneven. What she saw in his eyes made her want to look away, but she couldn't, she couldn't tear her eyes away from his gazeβ¦Slowly Anmol raised himself up on the bed and took her face in both his hands, tilting her face upwards, his thumbs under her chinβ¦.His heart was pounding so loud that somewhere in the back of his mind he wondered if everyone in the house could hear it. He could hardly believe that he was holding Raginiβ¦that she was this close to him, that she hadn't pushed him away, that she actually seemed to be responding to himβ¦Ragini's hands seemed to have developed a life of their own as they moved to clutch the front of his shirt, in nervousness, in anticipationβ¦.
Mamma! Pappa! Masima!.....Ragini and Anmol leapt apart as the children came rushing inβ¦.they had forgotten to lock the door last nightβ¦.
