I so agree with you all, im usually a silent reader on the forums but your topic moved me so i had to reply. skin colour discrimination is prevalent in our society and so ingrained that we no longer notice it but many people forget that true beauty lies within. when you are confident with who you are and your body only then can you look good on the outswide as you have the inner peice many people crave. We go in endless searches for beauty abnd happiness but we make ourselves unhappy by creating perjudices and spreading discrimination. We forget that everyone is perfect in the eyes god we are all equal.
as for gender discrimination well all i can say about that it is wrong and only we as the next generation can change it cause we have our education and understandinf of the world to conbact the small soch that rules and mars our traditional heritage.

Oh yeah--The weight business is also sickening some times!
The same happened with Parul too, some time before--People were calling her 'Fat aunty'..Can you believe that?😕
Really shallow!

Who really cares if you gain weight, its just more pounds of sweetness inside you😉 But disappointing ppl cant think positively...size 0, fairness creams, height problems....no wonder why psychologists are in so much demand cuz most ppl today r really suffering through low self-esteem.

Cant belive ppl said tht about parul, fat or not, it would still be our parul! And i personally thought even with the gained weight, she looked more beautiful in sarees.

Thinking about it,it's not just the colour issue..It's almost everything!
Weight,height,baldness,complexion etc!
It's almost everything..People just want 'Perfect looking people' to be their bride/bridegroom or love!

If anybody has seen Mujhse Dosti Karoge,Rani says that "Sabki khwaish yehi hoti hain ki unka pyaar iss duniya mein sabse khoobsurat ho."
True that!

Really its good to think how you think...let me share,
My friend is a bit over wieghed...so once she asked her husand about this, she was trying to reduce, but she was not successful.... the husband was so sweet...he said that "I chose you for the person you are and I am in love with my overweighed wife only"

That's soooooo cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
They're just a minority in the world who think that way!
But well drop drop make an ocean--Let's see if the world has anything good to offer for everybody in the years to come.(If they come)

I mean HOW many people are disliking Nandani Mohit relationship because they are not that "cute"

I feel they are perfect for each other cause they like each other and understand.

Thats like the perfect example of how people , if instead of Nandini's (dont know her real name) some other girl was put who was lets say much more skinnier or 'fairer' or 'more beautiful' (not that she is not ) i mean typical long hair awesome looking girl and Dashing mohit ( another awesome 'HUnk' lets say, Angad type boy instead then people wouldn;t think twice before pairing them up.

Even comments about Shava, I really like them as a couple but since varsha has gained couple of pounds ( so people say) they do not consider them that hot of a couple. They comment on her voice etc. I mean if someone had as understanding wife as Varsha then seriously wouldn't he be on cloud 10000?

Typical!

also, I really feel bad that people dont appreciate Akshara's feelings for Nandini...how sincerely Akshara is feeling for Nandini and her happiness, and working towards getting her a proper life is commendable...but in the blog, I see comments which are very painful...nothing other than beauty and romance between couples mean anything these days...very sad

Anyone here watched the movie shallow hal?
lol it was a hillarious movie and it kind of showed similiar attitude of women with more weight vs. Good Nature vs. pretty girls and shallow attitude.

Shrek is also like that, my English professor I remember she said that if , Princess Fiona was to made marry Shrek for who he is instead of becoming an ogre then that would have been more better.

If we think about it... all the disney movies show this type of attitude, Cinderella waiting for her prince charming,

Frog and the prince , its ok once he turns into a handsome prince, even though he was a frog few minutes ago lol

Beauty and the beast, she returned to the beast but, as a reward he had to turn to into a prince cause she could ofcourse not live with a beast its illogica right?

This is what the disney movies are engrained with and what our children are watching and we wonder why this sicknes dosen't end

I think many people have said the same things about RagVir!
They're my favourite couple and it really hurts when people say Ragini is ugly and she's too dark, fat, older looking etc!
I think they suit each other perfectly!
Bidaai hasn't done a lot to people's mindset actually!Sad to know!

gender difference is quite better now-a-days, but this complexion and beauty is really something which needs a lot of labour and indeed a revolution to get changed...

Beauty is the inner goodness of a soul...and how long des beauty last.. a person marries someone very beautiful, suppose in this twenties, but late thirties beauty is already declining....
