That When God created Adam , Satan was jealous of Adam.

God commanded the Angels (creation of God Made of light) and Jinn (creation of God made of fire , to which Satan belongs) to prostrate before Adam (not to worship) and Satan (iblis, that was his original name) refused. He said

Oh God, I will prostrate before you but I will not prostrate before Adam.
I am better than him,
You have created him from Mud and Created me from Fire.
God said then , Oh Iblis you disobey me? there is no place for you in paradise and he was thrown out.



Scripture analysists have said that the Racism started from here. From the very essence and beginning of creation

Satan's problem and the reason why he disobeyed GOD was he thought he was better. Where as when Adam was created Angels questioned GOD that why are you creating a such a creation that will cause fasaad and Fitnah ( killings, trials , tribulation ) on earth. Then God said you do not know what I know , from them ( the progeny of Adam, mankind) there will rise pious men who will preach the oneness of GOD and they will be better ..

In other words...

This fight has been of "ego, I am better ... attitude" vs. Goodness and piety from beginning.

Thus one has to realize that if one endorses the feeling of "i am better he is following the footsteps of Iblis (Satan) who was thrown away due to this " and in the SIGHT OF GOD, the one who calls people to GOD and to piety and goodness is better and that is what elevated Mankind and differentiates mankind from all other creations so much so that , even Angels were asked to prostrate before this creation (i.e. Mankind) So if one lets go of his " I am better attitude, he becomes better than the Angels"
