If I say, Sadhna signed the divorce paper because she had blind faith in Alekh's love and that Alekh after seeing the signature will have more enthusiasm to bring his wife back, does that make any sense to you....
Bani, great question. I absolutely love it. With this question you have twisted my arm to share the analysis I was not willing to share 😕 I have to now answer with total honesty.
@ red - Yes, I would say she did have blind faith in Aalekh's love. One can only have that kind of faith when the other person also gives strong indications verbally or thru action. And she judged him very correctly.
She saw the pyaar bhara chahat in Aalekh's eyes, his bartaaw, checking her out top to bottom as if to compliment her. If you remember a scene at the site where they showed the mystery guy? Sadhana hid behind Mallika when Aalekh was checking her out and Aalekh gives a smirk as if only to indicate Dekha mai tera looks appreciate kar raha hu... You do have my attention kind of message was given in a subtle way. The reason Sadhana hid behind Mallika was not due to dislike, or not because she did not approve him checking her out, but letting Aalekh know, you are making me conscience.
She has the intellect to judge people by their body language. What people convey thru body language is what that person is actually thinking. what they say might be contradicting. eg. Sadhana was the only one who did not believe in Sonia from the word go.
@ green - Here my answer is No. Enthusiasm tho khushi ke mauke par hothe hai. This is a bad news. Zyaadaatar log even in the best of normal conditions, go into shock at an unexpected event. Hence, the display of irrational behavior, extreme anger (waise Aalekh temper tantrums ki badshah hai hi), devastation leading to frenzy (the way he drove the car and got into an accident. that was intentional. Appears like either he couldn't care to live anymore OR he wants to injure himself so bad that Sadhana MAY come back for him). While the frenzy fades away soon, irrational behavior and anger continues for a while. That's the time for the dust to settle down.
@ purple - Signing the paper was like whipping him on his back. Being the viewers or the third party, it may make sense to some. But the affected person is the one who is on reactive mode. So I would expect outburt of anger. So all the actions followed after that was irrational, insensitive, senseless behavior on part of Aalekh was due to rejection by the woman he is madly in love with. although we could argue and prove right that he was legally set free, the ball is in his court. He sent a
wrong message to Sadhana he is moving on.
With all this said, the thing I was refraining from saying is, the CT beautifully orchestrated it only to treat the love birds to a rude awakening. Mallika is mere instrument to wake-up Sadhana from her Babul ki Aangan. Sadhana tanse Bidaai hogayi, lekin manse abhi bhi babul ki ghar mein hi hai. She is a dutiful wife with total attachment with Mayka. That will not work in a marriage. I think the CT wants to make Sadhana realize how everyone will move on with their lives even after her sacrifices and woh apne aapko akele paayegi with the memories of Aalekh and the realization to re-evaluate her life. Kya khoya, Kya paaya, aur kaha galathi hui. She already knows what she did... but will realize later it's not worth it.
And Aalekh too, will have a rude awakening that his temper tantrums, not being expressive, to trust and stand up for his wife which everyone expressed.
The biggest Lesson CT will show in future tracks is Salekh cannot chose one or the other relationships in any given situation, but maintain good balance. They created a feeling in viewers that Sadhana character is the personification and embodiment of perfection. Now they will focus on showing anything extreme is bad. Aur viewers ko ek jhatka diya (to some of us). And some are still in denial.
The moral of the story: The truth is nobody with a physical body can be perfect. But you realize your own flaws, accept them gracefully and mend them (seek conciliation) and move on. Salekh has a long way to go before they can literally become SALEKH! 😊
