Hi friend,
So I just read the HA update where RS is explaining to the mob of women about why Sadhna cannot lie under oath. Since then, I've been wonderin about this.Is hiding the truth really a lie? What exaclty is the difference between the two?Obviously everyone has a different view of what can be termed as a lie and what is not. For some, hiding the truth is not, for others it is. I would love to read about your views on this!PS. This is not in ANY way a Sadhna bashing or any other character bashing thread, so please do NOT turn it into one. I do not want this topic to closed like the numerous others lately. I just want a peaceful discussion on the difference between lieing and hiding the truth 😃

Yes dear Choco....for anything successful, the concept of peace plays the core part.
I understand your sentiments. But for me, Sadhna shouldnt say lies. Hiding the truth is sometimes worse than lies, specially after taking an Oath. Tell me, how can you hide a truth when you are asked an specific question, and infront of you is placed a copy of Quran (or your Holy Book, e.g Gita) and you are asked to say everything in your knowledge, with God and His auspicious Holy Book as the witness.
Which truth can you hide? Take this example:
Questioner: Did you drink water today?
Answerer: .... (what can she/her hide here?....she is asked a straight definite question, and must therefore give a definite answer. The court is not a fool that it will take something indefinite). There is either a 'YES' or 'NO' for this. And the stage is not home...its court. And the listener is not any person...the HOLY BOOK, God is brought infront by The Establishment Of Justice (Court) for the people.
Saadhna will try with all her heart to protect her devar.... but .... she is a devoted and darling human being. She is a dew drop of heavenly grace from the realms of sanctity.
Try and understand the situation and circumstances =) ...this will be my 2cents in this issue. =)
