Chapter 42

Ragini tries to get karan to leave, suddenly she hears someone's footsteps and is worried. Ragini says "Karan koi aa raha hai, ab kya karein?" Karan looks around to hide for a place, Ragini drags him towards a window and both hide behind the curtains. Kaushi comes into the kitchen and fills up her jug with water. Ragini is worried she is about to say something but karan says "ssssshhhhhhhhh..." Kaushi is about to leave but she hears something, she turns around and looks curiously at the window, and wonders if someone is there, so she walks towards the curtains to check. Karan and Ragini get worried hearing kaushi's footsteps getting closer. Kaushi slowly brings out her hand to move the curtains away, as the hand gets closer and closer ragini's heartbeat gets faster. Kaushi is about to move the curtains but she hears PC calling out to her for water, kaushi without an delay leaves the kitchen. Ragini and Karan sigh in relief. Both come out into the kitchen, ragini says "karan tum yahaan se jao please." Karan says "theek hai main jaa raha hoon par tumhe kal mujhse milna hoga." Ragini says "theek hai, main kal library jaa rahi hoon, toh aate waqt main tumse milne aungi okay. Ab jao please." Karan smiles and gives her a peck on her cheek and leaves. Ragini too leaves upstairs.

Kaushi says "Suniye ji. Paani." PC smiles and takes the glass of water. Kaushi is in thoughts. PC notices this and asks her if anything is wrong. Kaushi informs him that when she was in the kitchen she felt as if there was someone in there, someone behind the curtains. Pc asks if she checked or not, kaushi slightly shakes her head and says no. PC tells her not to worry and sleep as it could be wind only. Kaushi agrees and turns the lights off to sleep.

"Saadhna, saadhna, arrey meri tie kahaan hai yaar?" says aalekh. Saadhna comes there with a tie and says "yeh lijiye." Aalekh says "pehna do na." Saadhna says "arrey khud pehan lo na." aalekh says "arrey baandh do na, biwi ke haathon tiw banwane ka maza hi kuch aur hai." Saadhna smiles and puts the ties around his neck to tie it, but she realises that aalekh's button is broken. Saadhna says "aalekh apni shirt uttariye." Aalekh says "kya shirt? Kyun?" saadhna says "aalekh shirt uttariye." Aalekh says "saadhna, yeh kya keh rahi ho? Dekha hamra honeymoon khatam ho chukka hai, ab ghar pe hai, ab Subah subah kaise...🤣neeche papa wait kar rahe hai na." Saadhna is confused, she gets what aalekh is thinking, she says "hey bhagwaan, main apne pati ka kya karoon?" She slightly hits him on his head and says 'arrey main aapko shirt uttarne ke liye isliye keh rahi hoon kyunki aapki shirt ka button toot gaya hai. Toh doosri shirt pehan lijiye." Aalekh looks at the button and then at saadhna and says "tum button ki baat kar rahi thi?" Saadhna says "haan, aur kiske baare mein baat karungi main?" Aalekh has a smile and says "main kuch aur hi samjha tha." Saadhna says "main jaanti hoon, aapka dimaag bas ek hi jagah aakar rukta hai, ab jaaiye aur shirt badal kar aaiye. Papa wait kar rahe honge, aur yeh tie na khud hi baandh lijiyega." Saadhna leaves downstairs, aalekh is standing there with the tie in his hand and looks at saadhna walk away.

Ragini rushes down the stairs wearing a white tank top, along with black tight jeans. She had her black framed specs, her hair flying in the air as she rushes down the stairs. "Ma main library jaa rahi hoon. Jaldi aa jaungi." Says ragini rushing out the door, but she bumps into ranvir, and both drop their books. Ragini says "Ranvir…dekh kar nahi chal sakte, meri saari books kiraadi tumne." Ranvir apologises and helps her pick the books. He looks at her with hope in his eyes, but I Love you Karan kept ringing in his ears. Ragini notices ranvir looks at her. She snaps him out of his senses and says "kya hua?" Ranvir slightly shakes his head and says "kuch nahi." Ragini says "tum yahaan subah subah? Kuch kaam tha kya?" Ranvir says "haan woh kuch kaam tha..." Ragini says "theek hai, main library jaa rahi hoon, raaste mein discuss kar lete hain." Ranvir says "okay." Both leave in ranvir's car.

Saadhna is at the breakfast table, aalekh comes there wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie, and joins them for breakfast. Inderjit says "saadhna beta, tum tayaar nahi huyi? Office nahi jaana kya?" saadhna looks on at inderjit, he too looks at her and says "kya hua? Arrey jao jaake tayaar ho jao, tumhe pata hai tumhare bagair business ka kya hoga." Saadhna smiles and says "papa agar aapko aitraaz na ho toh kya main ghar se kaam kar sakti hoon? I mean ghar pe mamma akeli honge na, toh maine socha ki main ghar par hi baith ke office ka kaam kiya karungi." Inderjit says "par..." Saadhna says "Papa, main office mein aane ke liye mana nahi kar rahi hoon, main office aaya karungi." Inderjit smiles and says "theek hai beta jaisa tum chaho." Everyone begins to eat breakfast. Aalekh makes a cute angry face when saadhna denies to go to the office. Inderjit says "arrey yeh ranvir aur sanjana kahaan hai? Kahin dikhaayi nahi de rahe." Saadhna says "papa ranvir subah subah kahin gaya hai aur sanjana so rahi hai." Inderjit says "abhi tak so rahi hai?" Aalekh says "papa aap toh jaante hai na ki woh kaise hai...usse itni jaldi uthne ki bilkul bhi aadat nahi hai." Vasu says "haan, bilkul. Arrey yaad aaya kal avantika ka phone aaya tha Australia se (just changed the name of my mom)" inderjit says "acha? Kya keh rahi thi woh?" Vasu says "kuch nahi sanju ke baare mein pooch rahi thi...aur usne humein ek bohut important duty bhi di hai." Aalekh says "kaisi duty mom?" Vasu smiles and says "sanjana ke liye ladka dhunde ki duty." Everyone is surprised hearing this. "lekin usse mat batana. Warna pura ghar sar pe utha legi." Aalekh says "ma aapko kya lagta hai humari sanju ke liye ladka milega kya? Yeh maharani toh subah jaldi uth jaaye wohi bohut badi baat hogi." He laughs. Vasu says "hum laayenge uske liye ladka. Par aap teeno mein se usse shaadi ki baat bilkul nahi karega." All three nod.

Ragini is looking through ranvir's dashboard and finds a book that was titled "How to kill your husband 🤣." (amazing book guys…seriously) Ragini says "how to kill your husband? yeh kiski book hai?" Ranvir chuckles and says "bossy ki hai. Usse aise weird kitaab padhne mein maza aata hai." Ragini smiles and says "Mujhe laga..." Ranvir says "woh khud aisi hai..paagal hai woh." Ragini says "paagal hai yah nahi yeh toh pata nahi, but tumhari bohut fikar karti hai woh. Aise dost baar baar nahi milte ranvir." Ranvir says "woh toh hai." Ragini keeps the book aside and says "by the way woh hai kahan?" Ranvir says "koun? Sanju?" Ragini says "haan." Ranvir says "hogi kahaan so rahi hogi araam se...Lo tumhari library aa gayi." Ranvir finds a parking and pars his car, both get out of the car, and enter the library. Ragini places the books she carried in the return box, and began to look for some more books. Ranvir too begins to look for books for references. Both take a seat in front of each other. Ranvir's phone rings after a while, he answers the phone. "Khadoos kahaan ho subah subah?" says sanjana. Ranvir says "main library padhaayi kar raha hoon." Sanjana jumps out of the bed in surprise and says "KYA? Library? Yeh main kya sun rahi hoon? Mr Ranvir Rajvansh Library mein? Or woh bhi padhaayi? Tumhari tabiyat toh theek hai na?" Ranvir says "Sanju tum bhi na.' Ragini lifts her heard up when she hears sanjana's name and looks on at ranvir. Sanjana says "acha sun ab ghar kab aayega? Tujhe yaad hai na aaj meri tere college mein principal ke saath meeting hai." Ranvir says "haan mujhe yaad hai, main thodi der mein ghar aata hoon phir chalenge. Tu tayaar hoja tab tak." Sanjana says "theek hai theek hai...acha sun ragini ko mera hi bolna." Ranvir is surprised and says "tujhe kaise pata?" Sanjana says "bete yeh mat bhool ki main tujhe tujhse zyada ache se jaanti hoon. Chal phone rakh, aur jaldi aa jaana...warna dekhna tera kya haal karti hoon." Ranvir sighs and says "yes boss." Ragini smiles. Ranvir puts the phone down. Ragini says "kya hua? Sanju ka phone tha." Ranvir says "haan, woh usse aaj college lekar jaana hai...principal sir se meeting hai uski, admission ke liye." Ragini says "wow, that's great news yaar." Ranvir says "great? Arrey kabhi uske saath ek din bitake dekho...tab pata chalega." Ragini laughs and says "tum kyun uske peeche pade rehte ho...tumhe usse chidaane mein bohut maza aata hai na?" Ranvir says "bohut...aur usse hi nahi main toh tumhe bhi chedta hoon. Yaad hai humari first meeting." Ragini says "haan kaise bhul sakti hoon, tumne mujhe kichad mein gira diya tha." Ranvir says 'aur galati tumhari nahi thi." Ragini says "haan aur uske baad kitna jhagda kiya tha humne. Tab na I hated you." Ranvir says "aur ab?" Ragini looks up at ranvir who is looking lovingly at her. She is confused to see ranvir looking at her differently, she noticed there was something in his eyes, was it love? Or something else. Whatever it was she was completely new to it. Ranvir breaks the eye lock and looks down and says "uhhh...padhaayi karein." Ragini is still looking on at ranvir,

Aalekh is leaving for office, he comes to collect a file from his room where saadhna is sitting down working. Saadhna sees that aalekh is not happy with her decision. Saadhna goes to him and says "aapko kya hua? Aapka chehra itna kyun uttra hua hai?" Aalekh says "tum office kyun nahi chal rahi ho...tumhare bina mera mann kaise lagega wahaan. Saara time mera dhyaan yahaan rahega tumhare paas." Saadhna laughs. "tum hass rahi ho?" Saadhna says "aalekh aap toh aise keh rahe hai jaise mujhse milna se pehle aapka yeh haal tha...aap bhi na, arrey maine office aane se mana thodi na kiya hai...main office aungi na, par pehle ki tarah roz nahi, bas." Aalekh says "par kyun?" saadhna looks on at him. "acha theek hai, main chalta hoon" Aalekh gives her a kiss on her forehead. "Miss me." Saadhna smiles and says "office pohunch kar phone kariyega." Aalekh is about to leave, saadhna holds him by his hand. Aalekh says "kya hua?" Saadhna says "kuch missing hai..." aalekh says "kya?" saadhna says "dhundne do." Saadhna looks here and there, aalekh says "kya dhund rahi ho?" saadhna says "aapki hassi." Hearing this aalekh smiles. "mil gayi. Ab jaaiye." Aalekh gives her a hug and leaves.

Ragini says "Ranvir ek baat puchoon?" Ranvir says "haan pucho" still looking down at his book. Ragini says "woh…" Ranvir's phone rings again. "arrey wahaan se nikla ke nahi? Mujhe late ho raha hai yaar. 12 baje appointment hai." Ranvir says "haan main aa raha hoon meri ma...aa raha hoon." Ranvir hangs up. Ragini says "sanjana ka phone tha?" Ranvir says "haan, mujhe jaana hoga, warna woh meri jaan kha jaayegi." Ragini laughs and says "jao." Ranvir says "par tumhe kuch puchna tha na...pucho." Ragini says "uhhh...nahi mujhe mera jawaab mil gaya, tum jao, aur waise bhi mujhe bhi kahin jaana hai." Ranvir says "toh aao main tumhe lift de deta hoon." Ragini says "nahi nahi, jagah paas mein hi hai, main chali jaungi, tum jao." Ranvir says "arrey par main..." Ragini interrupts "ranvir tum jao, sanjana wait kar rahi hogi. Go." Ranvir smiles and leaves, ragini too realises she had to meet karan so she quickly gathers her things and leaves in a hurry.

Karan is about to leave the house when he recieves a letter and open it. It read that his company shares have dropped and it's sinking. Karan without a thought makes a call and books the next flight to London.

Ranvir drives off to pick up sanjana. While ragini rushes to the CCD. Ranvir enters the house ans calls out to sanjana, sanjana comes rushing down the stairs wearing a white tank top which had guess written on it in red, and wore black tight jeans, hair open, side fringe to the side, hoop earring, and glasses rested on her head. "chalein?" says sanjana. Ranvir says "haan chalo." Both leave.

Ragini is waiting for karan, but there is no sign of him, her eyes are set on the door only. 'Kahaan ho karan tum?" Karan is on his way to the airport, he gives ragini a call to inform her about him leaving urgently.

Sanjana and Ranvir get out of the car and leave to meet the principal. Ragini's phone is in ranvir's car. It's ringing and ringing. Karan thinks about why ragini isn't picking up the phone. Ragini's eyes are set on the clock and the door. Karan keeps trying but is unable to contact her, so he decides to meet her. He immediately gets the driver to make a u turn and head to the Caf.

SanVir are headed to the office, ranvir says "acha sanju sambhal ke jaana andar." Sanjana asks "kyun?" Ranvir says "bohut jald jaan jaogi. Chalo andar toh chalo." Both SanVir enter the office. Sanjana introduces herself and informs the principal that she is here in regards to the admission for psychology. "sir mr Inderjit Rajvansh ne aapke saath phone pe baat ki hogi iss baare mein." The principal thinks and says "haan haan ki thi, tum khadi kyun ho baitho Ranjana beti." Sanjana is about to sit, but she realises that the principal addressed her with the wonrg name. rnaivr giggles. Sanjana takes a seat and says "sir it's Sanjana." The prinicipal says "haan wohi wohi." The principal gets her to fill in the admission form and include any documentation required, he sees ranvir standing there and says "arrey dhanvir tum?" sanjana stops writing and looks on at the principal and then she looks at ranvir, who is standing there with a *not again* look, she lets out a small giggle. Ranvir says "sir dhanvir nahi Ranvir. The principal replies "haan haan wohi. Tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?" Ranvir says "main inke saath hoon." The principal says "oh toh tum anjana ke saath ho." Sanjana fills out the form and corrects him as she hands the form. The principal says "great, tum humein next semester join kar sakti ho. I'm glad kit um apni padhaayi ka aakhri semester humare college mein complete karogi. Welcome to st xaviers." He brings his hand forward, sanjana happily shakes hands with him and says "thank you sir." Both SanVir are about to leave the room, but the principal calls out to them "arrey khandvi suno." Hearing this sanjana bursts out laughing. Ranvir whispers to himself "khandvi?" as he makes a funny face. 😆 He turns around and says "sir mera naam Ranvir hai R-A-N-V-I-R RANVIR" the principal says "haan wohi wohi...Mr Daanvansh ko mera Namaste kehna." Ranvir is losing his cool, he sarcastically replies "ji sir, boldunga." Ranvir leaves followed by sanjana.

Vasu comes there with an envelope. Saadhna says "mummy ji yeh kya hai?" vasu says "yeh kuch ladko ki photographs hai sanjana ke liye." Saadhna says "arrey wah dikhaaiye." Saadhna looks on at the photos and is impressed with all the photos. Vasu says "yeh sab ek se bhadkar ek hai. shaam ko jab sanjana aayegi toh unhe yeh photos dikhaani hai." Saadhna says "great mummy ji. Bas ab sanjana ko inmein se koi ladka pasand aa jaaye." Vasu says "acha suno inhe kahi safe jagah rakh do, shaam ko hum usse pehle shaadi ke liye raazi karenge phir usse yeh photos dikhayenge. Sanjana ko pata nahi chalna chahiye in photos ke baare mein." Saadhna says "aap fikar na kare mummy ji, jab tak aap nahi chahti sanjana ko kuch pata nahi chalega." Vasu smiles and leave. Saadhna is about to keeps these photos in her room, but someone calls out to her in the kitchen, so she places it on the table and leaves to help.

Ragini is disappointed that karan didn't show up, she was about to leave until she sees karan entering the Caf. Ragini sees him and her eyes lighten up with excitement. There's a sign of relief in karan's eyes when he sees ragini all safe and sound. He rushes to her and gives her a hug "Thank god kit um yahaan ho." Ragini pushes him away slightly and says "kya matlab ki main yahaan hoon? Bhool gaye ki hum aaj milne waale the." Karan says "no baby main bhula nahi tha, it's just that ki mujhe London ke liye jaana hai, urgent kaam aagaya hai, tumhara phone kahan hai? Maine tumhe kitni baar try kiya, par har baar tumne phone nahi uthaya." Ragini checks her pockets and bag but couldn't find her phone. "shayad main ranvir ki car mein bhool gayi hoon." Karan says "koi baat nahi. Acha suno sweetheart I really have to go, meri kuch hi der mein flight hai, mera London pohunchna bohut zaroori hai baby. Sorry humari aaj ki coffee reh gayi." Ragini says "nahi karan I am sorry, tumhe meri wajah se delay hogaya. Tum jao." Karan smiles and kisses her on the forehead and whispers "I love you. Miss me." He is about to leave, but ragini says "waapis kab aaoge?" Karan turns around and says "jaise hi mera kaam khatam hoga main pehli flight se waapis aa jaunga. Aur tumhe phone karta rahunga." He gives her a hug once again. And offers her a ride home, ragini smiles and leaves with him.

SanVir are walking in the corridor, sanjana is laughing out loud. Ranvir says "kasam se yaar, agar yeh principal na hota na, toh uska murder kar deta main. Arrey main toh hairaan hoon ki yeh naam yaad nahi rakh paata, itna bada college kaise sambhaalta hai. Kis ghadhe ne isse principal banaya hoga yaar!" Sanjana laughs even louder now. Ranvir says "bas yaar ab itna bhi funny nahi hai. Chal ab ghar chalte hai, waise bhi bohut paak gaya aaj ke liye main." Sanjana nods while trying to control her laughter. Both leave.

Karan checks in and boards the plane. He thinks to make a call to London to ask about the company, but the manager informs him that the company has gone up higher, and they have made so much profit. Karan is surprised and informs him about the letter, the manager denies the fact that he sent the letter, and lets him know that why would he send a letter to him if the company had any problem, he would call him or email him. Karan is confused and thinks that it maybe a prank. The announcement to put seatbelts on is made, karan thinks that he needs to get off the plane. (the plane is taken off )

SanVir reach home all tired. Saadhna brings water for them and asks sanjana if her admission is done. Sanjana says "ji bhabi sab paperwork hogaya, bas yeh principal bohut pakata hai." Saadhna says "kyun?" sanjana says "usse naam hi nahi yaad rehte, mujhe ranjana, anjana pata nahi kya kya, aur isse pehle danvir, phir khandvi bulaya." Saadhna and sanjana laugh. Ranvir says "bhabi aap bhi. Main apne kamre mein jaa raha hoon padhaayi karne, kal se exams shuru ho rahe hai." Ranvir leaves. Both sanjana and saadhna get talking. Saadhna says "main tumhare kuch khaane ke liye lekar aati hoon, bhook lagi hogi na." sanjana says "bohut bhabi." Saadhna leaves to get something for sanjana to eat, while sanjana flicks though some magazines. She sees an envelope lie there on the table. Sanjana curiously looks a the envelope. She picks it up and wonders what it is. She is about to open it

Precap: Everyone plans to go on a family picnic since the exams are over. Ranvir over excited to spend the time with Ragini. Sanjana finds out that her mom has asked vasu to find a boy for her.

m gud...dharaa is good aswell..hasn't come oneline for a while now..her PC is stuffed up for ages now...still waiting for it to be repaired!
