What comes to mind when you think of the rains?
"I love the smell of the soil after the first rain. It's awesome. When the rain starts, I prefer to sit at home and have some alloo ka pakoda and garam chai."

What are your plans this monsoon?
"I have no particular plan. I will be doing the usual stuff like any other year."

Your best monsoon experience?
"My best monsoon experience was when I was shooting for a rain sequence and as it was the real rain, I had to be beneath a tree. During the break, the director asked me to lie down on the ground. I soon realised that a lot of insects had fallen from the tree and I immediately ran off to the vanity van to change my clothes as I was covered in weird bugs."
