Well...whether her decision was right or wrong...Vasu should look at Ranvir's happiness n accept Ragini whole heartedly...afterall, family is more important than some so called high profile socialites who consider dark skinned women to be below their self acclaimed standards! Are'nt dark skinned people human?...what's wrong with being dark skinned...Everyone is a part of God's beautiful creation n i think Vasu should stand by Ragini irrespective of what the rest of the world has to say n set an example for the rest!

i think that at least she should have talked it over with all the family and especially ranvir and ragini
after all it is the end of wedding celebrations
in the preview she is saying to het friends that it is ranvir idea to cancel and not hers
what if ranvir runs into some of there freinds and they ask him
can you imagine how he is going to feel that his mother did not tell him first

ofcourse the reception should go ahead!!!

if they dont then they are conforming to society's stupid stupid rationale of dark people being ugly and hence they shouldnt be appreciated.

I say go ahead and have the reception and celebrate the love of two people who have conquered everything to be together.

I think we are forgetting the reception is supposed to be about friends and family. In this case, unfortunately, those friends are the Sheetal types, and Vasu she is afraid of the insults that Sheetal guaranteed she'd face. Why should she willingly throw a party for her own embarassment?

Now I can understand that Vasu is being wrong in caring so much, but we all care about our friends opinions, and we all have egos. At least, she has overcome her issues enough to accept Ragini, in her own cold way.

Come on, guys, shes a person who values her status a great deal, but NOT so much that she wont let her son get his life's dream! She gave the wedding for Ranvir, she went to the Sharma house for Ranvir, she even gave up her oldest friend for Ranvir.

I think, seriously the woman needs to also get a break, its not easy to change everything about yourself. Its sad, but she couldnt get over the roop-rang nonsense with her own eldest sister, its unrealistic that some girl her son happens to have JUST married will be the reason she changes her mind set overnight.

I think it is a right decision by Vasu.
By this decision, she may be trying to protect her so-called reputation but actually she is protecting Ragini from undue insults. Vasu's so-called "friends" are actually fiends and it is totally meaningless to invite such people who are ready to laugh at you because you chose a dark-skinned bahu for your son. How ludicrous this is!
It is much better to invite close family and friends than to invite the whole world who instead of blessing and sharing the joy of a happy union is ready to inflict pain and humiliation on a happy couple.

Accodng to me I think Vasu z right because i jus cant take it wen Vasu's so called "FRIENDS" are gonna blow harsh comments on Ragi..seriously i jus cant bear it ..Nd Ragz turning to be a joker for ol those "high status wale".... I cant take it........
So.. in a way she prevented Ragini from undergoing such a situation though it wz for Vasu's reputation..
Wen every1 cum to knw abt it.. yea its sure they gonna feel bad but i think its 5n in comparison to wht Ragi z going to receive from those "heartless" ppl.....
But Vasu must make sure that foursome doesnt cum to knw the xat reson for reception being cancelld.. othrwise that'll shatter Ragini...
