There's no way they're going to bring Sonia back.

One thing I love about Bidaai is the deep bond that they show. For example when Aalekh found out how Sadhana got to marry him. He asked her right away whereas in other shows that would've dragged on for ages creating misunderstandings. I feel that all the trials that Ragvir have been through have made their bond stronger and a 100 Sonias couldn't come between them.

There's so much of the storyline after Ragvir marriage. Aalekh's condition will probably reveal plenty more stories including his Dadaji and whatnot. Them trying to find out what happened and how to fix him will be another.

Vasu dealing with everything and how she treats Ragini.

What happened to Vasu and Indrajits marriage? What happened between Vasu and Ambika? How was Ambika treated compared to Vasu when they got married?

There's so much left to be covered.

Actually, now that I think about it, there are many stories in Bidaai that follow on from stories in other soap operas.... the introduction of Sonia's character for example, she was one of those typical soap-style vampy characters brought in as a supposed love interest for one of the protagonists, who is in the end found out to be a gold-digger... I think most of us have seen this sort of a character and story in other shows...However, what prevented it from being cliched is how the writers of Bidaai handled the story, in that it led to a significant development in Ranvir's personality, making him slightly less shallow....Despite the events that ocurred post TM, one could argue that Ranvir never really had an issue with Ragini's skin colour as he never really brought it up himself, it's just the other characters who kept mentioning how her skin colour shouldn't be an issue for him at all (Chachaji, Alekh, Indrajit), so we automatically thought that the colour of her skin was one of the reasons as to why he was unable to accept her, when in fact it really might not have been an issue for him at all at the time....So the Sonia storyline wasn't really useless... The treatment of these storylines in how they lead to significant developments in relationships between other characters, etc. are what makes them unique, even though we might've seen these same stories used on other shows...Sorry, rant over...

@Shumi: LOL....that's an awesome rant!😆.....Well said! Yes indeed....it is the treatment of even the 'cliched' storylines such as the Sonia one that make the crucial difference in Bidaai....cuz honestly it is basically a rehash of concepts used in other shows like Dulhan, Saat Phere with dashes of Vivah thrown in....but I've always personally also felt that stories are usually all the same....it is the treatment can make or break them.....Dulhan, SP had good concepts when they started out.....but a year and a half down the line, they all kind of lost the way and degenerated into trite, over the top stuff.....But Bidaai did not lose sight of what was it's biggest USP....it's treatment of storylines/characterizations *touchwood* and I hope it remains the same cuz a year and a half down the line, the show is better than ever!

Yeah, I know... I can't believe its been a year and a half already! That's alot! And what's great is that the show has maintained its high TRP's all the way through....that is really quite a feat, I think, especially since most other shows that might've started out well in the TRP's Dept. really struggle by a year or so...

Really hope that Bidaai can keep this up....though I don't want it to be one of those shows that go on and on forever and eventually lose sight of what made it great in the first place....I think after another year and a half, once it has wrapped up all the stories/mysteries, etc., it should end...I'd rather see it end when it was still good than have it drag on for 10 years and just remember it as a show that used to be good once upon a time...

Yeah, exactly! It will become very stale and boring after a certain period of time...2 years sounds good!

Oh, and I hope it's on its way to gaining the highest TRP's of all time - that would be so cool though not surprising at all considering that the show's been doing very well in that area lately, even better than before!

well .....the way they've been treating the different tracks.....i dont suppose there is a chance of the show going downhill n bcoming boring too soon......whats good bout the show is that they have limited number of characters...and all of them get their onscreen due.....with proper focus on all the characters/actors.....lead or otherwise....

besides theres still huge loads of situations to take place and mysteries to unravel yet......the foremost mystery wud be Alekh's mental condition.....what led to it n all...n how its gonna cure etc....

as far as the ragini-ranbir marriage wud go.....im guessing Kaushalyaji's/mamiji's worst fears wud come true.....she'd never wanted ragini to be in the same house as sadhana.....with all the comparisons between them an all....so i guess vasu is going to get around to demeaning ragini bout her looks n comparing her with sadi ......also we've seen how ragi has a tendency to get bogged down/depressed quite easily/frequently......not that i blame her at all...with all the problems shez got to go thruough.....on the other hanf ranvir is more on the optimistic side....so we'll probably hav scenes btwn the two keeping these things in mind...........dunno......all just my personal opinion......blabbering away to glory......😊

There are lot of things to be unfolded and everything goes one by one..
Am glad it aint a K show which makes an entry of many surprise elements... I dont want the things mentioned in the main thread to happen simply because it would make this predictable and cleashade.. Thankfully Rajan ji knows it and he is making such a beautiful story which has got imensely popular by the masses each and every character is weaved with love and its interesting to watch... No matter how difficult the complications were Saaelkh relationship went thicker as each day passed by so has RagVir 's relationship hope it continues and i am waiting for surprises which keeps me hook to the show!!

welll..there is a difference between wat i want to happen in bidaai n wat i think my gut feeling tells me wud happen..

sadly i think dat after ragini n ranvirG.'s shaadi n seeing dem happy n all..dey wud feel dat sadhna is sumwhere not dat happy as alekhG. is not normal naa..he cant understand wat love is to dat extent to which a normal man can understand n he cant give dat love to sadhna which she is worht of..although hes very caring n loving but still mentally woh baat tu nai haina as he does not understand wat love is n marriage is

dey wud decide dat after alekhG. recovers den only dey'll plan a kid or wateva..as ghar ka bada beta is alekhG. not ranvirG. naa..

although sadhna is younger den ragini but alekhG. is elder n shes da elder bahu naa..

i think ragini's mom wud still worry 4 ragini n her married life n all..

n sadhna ki fikr sirf ranvirG. n ragini ko hoge dat she still is lonely..

i think sadhna too wud feel dat her hubby shud also go to ofice like his younger bro ranvirG. n he also loves her appreciates her understands her like a mature man..

she wud miss having a normal hubby..n mayb wen alekhG. recovers he wud forget sadhna n wateva she did 4 him..she wud forget her dost n mayb he wud ignore her n all..den also ranvirG. n ragini will make him realise wat sadhna was in his life..n wat she did 4 him..

sadhna n alekhG. ki love story buhat acheeeeeeeee hone waali hai m dammmmmmm suree..mayb v get to a normal alekhG. as a spoilt brat n all..mayb he wud not accept sadhna as his wife but dat new love between dem wud b really interesting n a treat to watch i must say:)

ranvirG. n ragini ki life mai bas yehi prob hoge k ragini is elder den sadhna n ere at her hubbys house her younger sis is her elder jeethani..i know da 4 of them r really loving towards eachoda but still ppl like avni wud create such situations which wud trouble dem..

4 now m just luking forward 2 ranvirG. ragini shaadi my alekhG. n sadhna dancin n alll..n den ranvirG. n ragini's honeymoon..

wish alekhG. n sadhna b saath jayein..although v wud want dere honeymooon to happen again after alekhG. turns normal..

but it wud b lovely to c da 4 of them njoy togeder..

wat i feel is dat now sadhna wud start feeling dat alekhG. shud ave been normal tu kitna achaaaaa hota:)n vl ave alot of pity on sadhna n alekhG. like now vr aving wiv ranvirG. n ragini n dere luvvvvvvvvv 4 eachoda!!

btw m satisfied with the way rajan shahi is going with da story of bidaai soo i dun think dat nething wrong wud happen after ranvirG. ragini marriage...balke i think da show wud rock even more after dere marriage..becux v ave anoda luvvv story 2 in dis serial which is of r sadhna n alekhG. n v'll definitely get to c really gud scenes of both!

bas ek request hai k jodis hamesha ek saath rahein n dere luvvv neva lessens 4 eachoda n the 4 of them stay happy wiv eachoda n dere r no fights between them as couples n as bhai behens 2..

bas i wana c dem...wen dey show malti n vinnnu n avni n navin i dun like it..i want more of our 2 jodis:)
