I really dont like ranvir and ragini as a couple. After seeing Salekh I just cant compare ranvir ragi to them. Salekh are everything a couple should be. Romantic, trusting, living for each other, doing everything for each other, smart and caring and very loving. Alekh is in love and also because love has changed him. Sadhna is his reason to live. Sadhna is joyous and regards Alekh as her greatest gift - a reason to live. Their husband and wife relation has evrything u cud possibly want (except maybe the 'physical stuff', which will become sooo awesome when Alekh becomes normal) and everyone loves their couple. They r sooooo cute and the world love them.
Ranvir and ragi on the other hand IMAO dont at all have what Salekh have. Maybe this is bcuz I dont really agree to the whole phone love thing but they defs dont have what Salekh have. And anyway, there are many that dont like their relationship so it wont work. I think Ragi will defs be better off with shishir who didnt take ages wondering whether to accept her or not besides ragi deserves a break in her life. A break from taunts for her dark skin. In rajvansh house with ranvir and a high snobby society this will only become bigger especially with Sadhna being there. With Shishir nobody can say anything to her cos shishir himself is dark.Put simply I dont like ranvir ragi pairing. it will bring alot of grief with it. And not at all compared to Salekh.

bravado with your FIRST para.👏 i agreed with everything you said there.moving on to ragvir: i too wish ragi and shishir to be together. i'm not saying ranveer is a bad person, he just took some time to realize his love, he was just confused, which is perfectly understandable, and indeed very realistic and human. hey who wouldn't be confused, when you're in love with your phone friend, and it turns out to be your bhabhi's older sister, whom you've always looked upon as probably nothing more than like a sister yourself or friend... its perfectly understandable. and though i do think he deserves ragi, for the sake of ragi, he should forget her. his mother will never let her live in peace, and the constant taunt from the snobby, shallow, rich people will only add to her misery. as much as i hate to admit it, but kaushi is right. if ravn didn't have such a close-jointed family, i would've cheered for the two love birds to be together, but seeing it as he does, i think its only best for ragi. plus, shishir seems like such a nice guy, he'll keep her happy. but of course, if ragivir both feel they can't live without each other (which ragi doesn't seem to feel) then good luck to 'em 😊 If the argument that Ragi will have to deal with taunts etc. in the Rajvansh family and that is why Ragvir shouldn't be together, the same can be applied to Saalekh as well....doesn't Sadi have to deal with a lot of insults from Vasu/Avni there?? Do two bad ppl in a family write off the entire family?? What about the positive influences in that family? Satyen, Ambika, Vasu's husband??? They don't count at all???? I too like Shishir a lot, but Ragi's happiness obviously lies with Ranvir since he's the one that she loves....and I would say Hallelujah if two ppl who love each other ACTUALLY do end up together UNLIKE in every single K-show.btw, this is a question for all you living in india: i've always wondered this, but after watching shows like saat phere and bidaai, it only got me thinkin', is India still as shallow as it once was with skin color? i just don't get it, i thought india was much more evolved than that on this issue (especially in an urban area where rajvansh live)...? besides, ragi by no means is an unattractive girl, she is beautiful, just cause her skin is dark, doesn't mean she's ugly. so many black women, are some of the most beautiful women living today. just look at the likes of tyra banks, beyonce, alicia keys, and the list is endless...I've lived in India most of my life and I can vouch for this.....this prejudice against skin color very much exists..(more in the rural areas, but definitely to some extent in urban areas as well....the basic mindset remains the same)...fair ppl are the ones who are considered beautiful in general.....fairness is valued....fairness creams sell like hot cakes.....it's like the general obsession.....I find it a little sad, personally.....Ragi is a very gorgeous girl, the kind of defined sharp features she has, most women would kill for...... The biggest irony is that in foreign countries like the US and UK, tans are valued more over fairness....here everyone is dying to get a tan and in India most ppl are dying to be fair.....life's funny that way.~peace~

yes, sadhna too is taunted by vasu in the household. but she's already married and loves alekh very much. when she agreed to marry alekh, neither she, nor did we knew what she was getting herself into. and all this when vasu WANTED her to be her bahu all along. so imagine what ragi will have to go through to live in that family. yes, there are positive people in the house like satyen, ambika, alekh, sadi, indra, etc. but vasu still, unfortunately reigns in the house. though she's just one person, her behavior will certainly leave a HUGE impact on ragi, and when they'll give out parties, all the snobby rich people will only taunt her, taunt her, and taunt her... i can only imagine the misery ragi will have to go through to live in that house. half of her support system, indra, ranvi, and eventually alekh, will all be out in the office and she's gonna end up being miserable with vasu there. and we all know how "straightforward" sadi, ambika, and satyen are. none of them stand up for sadi when vasu starts on her, and sadi herself just stands there and puts her head down. now with this whole vineet hoopla, its only gonna add fuel to the fire for ragi's misery. now that we pretty much know what's ragi's getting herself into, i say its best for her to go with shishir. IMHO, if ragi does indeed end up with shi in the end, she'll be happy, and no way will it be like a kekta show. in a kekta show, we'd find out that shi is actually somehow related to the sharma family, that's why kaushy wanting ragi to choose him, then shi actually turns out to be a gangster, then he'd rape and torment ragi, and then be shot by kaushy, and some rhona dhona going on afterwards, and then ragi getting married again, with ranvi, who's also previously been married, finding out that his ex-wife was just out for his money, then ragvir finally ending up with each other... yes, that's a kekta show for you right there. LOL. in reality many don't get their love, so not unrealistic or kekta-like at all if ragvir don't get their love either. besides, its not like ragini is saying she absolutely can NOT live without ranvi. she is a mature woman, and already has agreed to marry shi in front of ranvi. so not so sure when we say ragi's happiness lies with only ranvi.[quote]I've lived in India most of my life and I can vouch for this.....this prejudice against skin color very much exists..(more in the rural areas, but definitely to some extent in urban areas as well....the basic mindset remains the same)...fair ppl are the ones who are considered beautiful in general.....fairness is valued....fairness creams sell like hot cakes.....it's like the general obsession.....I find it a little sad, personally.....Ragi is a very gorgeous girl, the kind of defined sharp features she has, most women would kill for...... LOL. in reality many don't get their love, so not unrealistic or kekta-like at all if ragvir don't get their love either. Wowwww....that's quite a scenerio you've thought up there😆😆😆.....So what I'm understanding so far (correct me if I'm wrong)....it's ok for Saalekh cuz they're already married and Vasu wanted them to be married and so it's a status quo...but Ragi should 'save' herself from the Rajvansh family?😆😆.....And it's ok for Ragvir not to end up with the ppl they love cuz that's how real life is? But again, that argument wouldn't apply to Saalekh, right?..... cuz they're already married to each other? It seems here that two different sets of rules seem to apply to Ragvir and Saalekh.....In my opinion though....yes, I do understand that in real life, one may not always end up with the person they first fall in love with.....but after a million K-shows worth of stories where the couples NEVER end up together or worse end up together after too many disgusting twists by which time it's all a moot point anyways....I would prefer if two ppl in love WERE shown to end up together for a change....Do tell me honestly though.....if the situation was reversed and Ragvir were the couple already married and Saalekh were going thru this, would you still prefer a Shishir to land up and 'save' Sadi from the Rajvansh family?😉wow, really...??? that is shocking. and you're right about the irony in the west. i live in the U.S. and though white is in no way considered unattractive, many spend their money to get tans. really, it is a funny world... btw, one more question: i've noticed that virtually ALL indian shows involve with big-jointed families, with the bahus/saas being all traditional and wearing sindoor and mangalsutra and all, which is the complete opposite of what they show in bollywood. virtually all BW movies show India as being like a western society with everyone clubbing, wearing clothes like the westerners, and mostly following their culture. i've always wondered which is more accurate. can you please tell me? LOL, not that I'm an expert on Indian culture myself😆.....generally, it's a exaggeration to some extent both ways.....Not ALL Indian families are large joint families with traditional maha-sacrificing bahus with their heavy jewellery, saris etc....as far as I know, this mainly happens in the more traditional areas of the country....but you definitely won't find women CONSTANTLY wearing heavy saris and jewellery😆😆.....that's just window dressing for the TV medium.....in the more modern areas of the country, the ppl are much more laid back and it's mainly smaller nuclear families....joint families are very small in number.
As for BW....they're just kinda sad for the most part with their blatant attempts to be 'modern'....they never pull it off classily and just end up looking like wannabes😕😆😆......Some things do exist in all societies in the metros.....things are very different in the big cities than the rest of India....so there are ppl who are very much into things like clubbing, skimpy clothes, the works.....these same ppl will turn into sati-savitris for traditional pujas and festivals as well....that's somethign Ekta's depicted accurately in some of her shows😆😆.....but it can't be generally classified.....there are various aspects to all things....It's not JUST all the ppl wearing western clothes, clubbing etc....and it's not JUST the ppl wearing glitzy saris and heavy jewellery.....both are exaggerations.~peace~
