why shishir's character is kept in low profile

I was justing watching y'day's episode again. dont know how many of u noticed it that when ragini came down to shishir's family waiting downstairs ( how pretty she looked😳) instead of showing shishir's face in close up they ended up showing malti's wierd expression😆. that kept me thinking. usually when a guy comes to see a girl they show the guy looking up at her for some time😳, right? another thing, shishir was never promoted..I mean we never saw him any of the promos.

the reason could be that since ragvir is definitely gonna happen, the writer doesnt want us to take too much interest in his character ( which ironically has failed, since most of us here have liked him even b4 he opened his mouth😍 to speak so sweetly to ragini.).

so eventually ranvir and ragini are destined to be together, but I do want to see some more rashi moments . what do u say.

Very true. My sentiments are the same. Somehow I am feeling in tune with mamiji that ragini should be best without the ever-confused ranvir. How will he ever protect her from his mom and avni if he doesn't understand his own mind and is so totally out of sync with his true feelings. Furthermore, it is not enough to feel love for your life-partner, you need to feel some respect too. Otherwise, there are chances that you might be ashamed of your love and that sort of love dries-up very soon. Ranvir, to my mind has a closed opinion about a girl's complexion and beauty. He has very unfortunately come across as a very shallow character according to me and certainly doesn't deserve ragini. I feel that he doesn't love like the way shishir loves ragini. Shishir's love contains the vital ingredient called "respect", which I feel ranvir's love lacks.

Shishir seems to be an enlightened fellow. And ragini should choose him. But alas! I know ragini has fallen for the spoiled brat ranvir and her heart will rule.

Honestly, if I was Ragini, I'd choose Shishir over Ranvir in a heart beat for the very reasons you stated.

yea .. thts absolutely tru .. but i have another feeling .. i think maybe when ranvir comes to knw that his mom was part of evrythn then he wil strt hating her or maybe wil try n understand tht evrything is not just fine as he thinks .. maybe those things may make his better in future ... i think the creative is just tryn to show how luv changes ranvir n his views.!! .. i hope something lyk tht will happen n he'll hv d same respect 4 ragini as shishir

Ranvir needs to learn from his experience and also learn one thing stand for his love not once but throughout, see i liked Shishir, but then i still suspect his parents, may be its for my own sweet convinience buts its early to say... Shishir's role is a meaty role, Manish is doing full justice plus he wasnt given a over the top publicity and that added a charm to his character, i wud like to see RaShi frndship but Shishir doesnt deserve a heartbreak he seems to be a genuine guy, RaGVir have a story and now RagVir story has begun!!

You guys aren't giving Ranvir any credit though. Why wouldn't he believe his mother? Why would he assume that his mother would lie? Someone who loved him all his life and brought him up. When Vasu poisoned his mind, he had to believe it because he doesn't see why his mom would lie afterall she was the one who suggested that Ranvir marry Ragini.

Ragini had time to process before the dance when she saw him. She refused to go on stage, remember? Give Ranvir a break. I think if Vasu hadn't talked to him, he would've talked to Ragini that day. He was just confused and after his talk with Vasu he felt betrayed, not just by the woman he loves, but also his bhabi who he trusted with all his feelings. It makes sense that he reacted the way he did.

I truly believe that once Ranvir and Ragini get married, he will be the most supportive husband Ragini can ever get and better yet he loves her and she loves him which is more than her "relationship" with Shishir right now.
