Santaan Written Update: June 2nd

Highlights:

Shubh regrets not listening to his parents.

Anu insults Parikshit.

Parikshit gets a small job at an ice cream parlour as an accountant.

Nams mayb expecting but Vishaka swears not to let the kid be born.

Detailed Update:

Shubh is in jail regretting not listening to his parents. He remembers the time when Par-Gayu tried making him understand. He cries n wishes out loud that he listened to his parents, mayb he wud have become their good son. (May I add, Gaurav looks so hot in that hair-do...I mean I jus cudnt take my eyes off him...Sooo hoooottt) He continues saying because of his foolishness he has brought them great shame n if possible to forgive him.

--At Dixit House--

Parikshit feels something while praying n prays to God to protect Shubh n that wherever he mayb, he safes n that he's leaving Shubhs protection upto him.

Parikshit walks out in the living room where Anu is flipping through a magazine. He asks her about Karthik but she rudely ignores. He looks here n there n says he hasnt seen him. Has he started going to work early. Anu in the rudest tone ever says yes but wat else can he do. Afterall, he has to raise such a big family n their wishes touch the clouds. Poor Karthik cant do anything. Parikshit tries finding his hindi newspaper but when he doesnt he questions Anu about it. She informs him again very rudely that she has cancelled the hindi newspaper subscription n from now on only english newspaper will b delivered. Par is shocked as Anu conts saying he can read this only n he shud know how expensive everything is now-a-days. He shud once trying taking care of the monthly expenses n will then now how it is n so many thousands go jus like this to fulfill their desires. Par looks on shocked n upset.

Gayatri comes calling for Parikshit but doesnt find him. She looks here n there n finally inquires from Anu. Anu again rudely replies she doesnt keep up with everyone, she afterall is the owner of the house not any security gaurd. Gayatri silenty listens shocked. (As usual)

Gayatri paces the living hall waiting for Parikshit. Parikshit walks in n quietly sits down on the sofa very hurt n dejected. Gayatri questions him where he went n tells him how worried she was n looked all over for him. She spots the newspaper n questions whether the delivery man hadnt cum that he had to go out n buy the paper. All the while Parikshit is very quiet n evidentally very hurt. Gayu gets worried n asks him wat happened? She gives him her kasamh n asks him to tell her. He responds saying that jus know keeping everyhting that has been changing in mind with kids behavior that they must change themselves n also they r elders so they have to take care of their small needs themselves till how long will they b a burden to Karthik n Anusha, saying so he walks off while Gayu thinks wat must have happened n its sumthing definitely big that has hurt him so deeply.

Parikshit cums n sits down in his room still very dejected. Gayu follows n places her hand on his shoulder asking him to tell her what happened n once again gives her Kasamh. He tells her first time in life he has made a decision without confiding in her. Gayu looks at him confused.

--Adi's House--

Nams is sititng on her bed reading a book when she reaches out for a glass of water n notices the glass n water bottle both empty. She stands up to fill the bottle when she suddenly feels very dizzy n falls unconcious. Dadiji whos passing by sees her on the floor n tries getting her concious. She then sprinkles sum water n Nams slowly gains conciousness. She helps her to bed n asks her wat happened. Nams tells her she doesnt knw but for the past few days shes been feeling very weak n dizzy. Dadi thinks to herself that these r all hints to her being pregnant but then says that cant b, never. She asks her whether Adi knows, Nams responds in negative adding that she didnt want to worry Adi as hes already stressed out becus of work. Dadi asks her to rest n she'll call a dr n get her check up done.

--Dixt House--

Gayatri asks him wat decision has he taken? Parikshit replies that instead of sitting at home empty handed n free he has decided he will get a small job. Gayatri's shocked. He tells her he has taken up an accounting job at some small store n hes only required for 3 hours. He will go after lunch n will b back before the evening tea. Anusha is hearing all this with her usual smirk. Parikshit conts saying this will keep him busy n they will also get some money out for small expenses. Gayatri tells him this isnt his age for working rather for relaxing. He responds saying the work isnt so hard n now a days ppl older to him r working. He doesnt like asking his son for money n elders look better giving money not asking for them.

Anu calls her Mom to inform abt Pars decision in taking up a job.

--Pars workplace--

The guy is very pleased to have Par working with them, in return Par thanks him for a gud time he will have. The guy introduces him to his staff n asks one of the staff members to help him out if he needs it.

--Dixit House--

Poornima is shocked that Par will b working at an ice cream parlour n comments cudnt he get a better place to work at to which Anu replies that jus becus they live in a big house there thinking wont grow. Poornima, however, is elated becus they can easily insult Par n she very smartly will give this news to Karthik.

--Ice Cream Parlour--

Parikshit is shown working n seems very pleased.

--Karthiks Office--

Poornima is dealing with a foreign client. She very smartly asks the client whether he wud like some indian ice cream or mayb kulfy. He agrees. Karthik takes them out to eat ice cream n right where Par is working.

Karthik goes to order but Par is on the floor gathering some coins as Karthik places his order.

--Adi's Home--

Dadi remembers back to reading JRs will in which it states that 80% of his property wud go to his grandson Adi while the remaining should go to an orphanage n needy ppl n that his wife shud get 1 lahk pension every month. She thinks to herself wat has JR thought of her as only 1 lahk a month. She will not let all this property go out of her hands n whoever threatens it she will remove them off her path. She promises herself that Adi-Nams child will not cum into this world.
