just a question.....wouldn't it have made more sense for gayatri to have went where teh other bastiwala's went? considering she is pregnant and alone it would've been better for her to stick with her other neighbours...especially her friend.

Latika Didi has gone to her mom's place i think as her mom is not well. but yes she should have stayed along with the other Basti folks that would have been better and safe for her.

Maybe the basti people went to their relatives' houses so she couldn't go there. Or maybe she didn't want to bother them.. they are already bothered enough.
