Dec. 22nd written update

The show starts off with Neha walking into her hospital room with a nurse. The nurse tells her that the head nurse, Madame Pedro, will guide her as to how everything works around here. Neha opens her suitcase and takes out a picture of Shubh and her on their wedding day and cries remembering him. The head nurse comes into the room and gives her a rule book and tells her to read it. The nurse takes the pic from Neha and Neha gets worried and asks the nurse where she is taking the pic of her husband and her. The head nurse tells her that personal photos are not allowed here. Neha is sad hearing this and the nurse leaves.

Poornima asks Aryan how he wants to arrange the engagement. Aryan says that first he wants Anu to agree to the engagement, then he will also get ready. Poornima says that she will say yes, because Anu will not find a better match than him. Anu is not listening to any of this. Poornima says that she has talked to pundit ji and asked him to tell her a good date for the engagement. Aryan says to Anu however you want the party to be arranged, they will arrange it that way. Anu isn't listening and doesn't say anything. Aryan calls her again and finally she is listening. She asks if he said anything. aryan tells her that he was talking about their engagement. She makes an excuse that she has a headache and leaves the room. Aryan tells Poornima that he doesnt think that Anu is interested in him (he just figured that out?) Poornima says no "aisi koi baat nahi hai." She says that Anu is a child and that she doesn't know what she wants from life. She tells Aryan that Anu is very happy with him. Aryan says that until Anu and Kartik don't get a divorce, they will not be able to be one. he asks when the divorce will become final. She says don't worry she herself will close this chapter of Anu's life very soon because she has become very irritated with kartik.

Gayatri and Parikshit and Shubh walk into the house looking sad. Shubh goes upstairs. Gayatri starts to walk behind him, but Parikshit stops her and says it is better for him to be alone right now. He says that Shubh is a very understanding person and says that he believes that Shubh will take care of himself. He tells Gayatri do not make him weak with your love. Parikshit says that after a certain age, he thinks that parents should leave their child alone. Gayatri walks away.

Kartik and Sanskriti walk in together. Sanskriti starts to pray, but Kartik just stands there. When Sanskriti is done, she looks over at Kartik and sees him looking sad. She tells him that she knows that he wants to wipe his family's tears right now, that he wants to hug Shubh, but even though he wants to, he can't do anything. Sanskriti says even though he can't do those things, he can pray for good things to happen to them. She says that everybody that has come to the mandir, they have come to finda solution to their problem. She tells him to close his eyes, and pray and says that she believes that God will certainly fulfill his every wish. Kartik doesn't move. Sanskriti says "chalo ankhein band karo". Finally Kartik starts praying. When Sanskriti is done, she looks over at Kartik who is still praying. When they are both done, they both get prasad. Gayatri and Parikshit are shown coming towards the mandir while Sanskriti and Kartik are walking out. They are walking towards each other without seeing each other. Finally Sanskriti looks up and sees them and tells Kartik. Kartik looks stunned. Sanskriti says let's go, but Kartik refuses. Kartik takes Sanskriti and hides. Gayatri tells the Pundit that they have come to pray for their bahu Neha and their son Shubh. She says that their bahu is sick, she says to pray so that their bahu comes home quickly and she is well. Kartik watches with tears in his eyes.

Break

Gayatri looks back, but Kartik hides. Parikshit asks what happened and Gayatri answers that she felt that Kartik was there. Kartik is sad hearing this. Parikshit says how can he come here, this is your (he says a word that I didn't understand. Something like "brahm"). Parikshit goes back to praying. Sanskriti says mothers can recognize their children and why is he punishing himself and his parents. She asks why he isn't meeting them. She asks him to go and meet them. She says that she believes that even if he only meets them once, they will let him back into their lives. Kartik looks one last time at his mom and tells Sanskriti to leave.

Neha is crying and having flashbacks of her and Shubh. Some man comes in behind her and asks her if she is remembering her family. He walk up to her and sits on her bed and asks again. When she doesn't say anything he stands up and asks if he can sit on her bed to which she answers yes. He sits and says thank you and asks her to sit too. He tells her that when he first got there, he was also very sad. He tells her that now it is very fun. he rearranges stuff on the bed while Neha tells him not to. She says that she will do it, when he angrily says don't say stop me. he says that nobody ever says no to him about anything and that nobody can

Break

The man keeps on putting things away while Neha watches, scared. When he is done he sits and asks her to sit too. He says that you must be thinking that what is this man's name. He says that his name is Suraj, "aur main suraj ki tara tez hoon". He talks about what people think about him and he thinks about himself, what his likes and dislikes are. Neha listens quietly. He asks her what her name is and she answers and he says "nice name"

Suhana is doing work when he MIL walks in and she says that all the work is done. She says that she will make hot breakfast for them early in the morning. MIL says that there is no need they are going at 4 in the morning.Suhana says who knows what breakfast is at other places and that she will get some food ready and give it to them. MIL says that her bahu is very good to them. MIL leaves. Niam comes up behind Suhana and starts acting romantic with her and Suhana says stop maa will see. Niam says no she has just gone to bed. Suhana says let go and Niam says when my wife is not with me then how can I sleep? Maa and Dad come, Niam quickly lets go and she says that she forgot to tell Suhana something. She notices Niam there and asks what is he doing there. He says that he is helping Suhana. Dad says that there was a time when he used to help maa with stuff too. He says times have changed, but excuses have remained the same. Maa says that she forgot what she was going to say and they both leave. Suhana playfully hits Niam and he says how was I supposed to know Maa will come here.

Everybody is eating. Neha is thinking about her family. She is starting to leave he says eat otherwise she will remain hungry. He notices that she is crying, and he says oh I see, you are crying because of "bhindi" (sabzi) 😛 He says I told you, Mrs. Pedro doesn't make it very good. Nurse comes in with soup and he gets angry because it is in a plate and he always gets in a bowl. Nurse tells him that he is forgetting that he always gets it this way. He tells Mrs. Pedro and she says to calm down and that you will get in a bowl if you want, and sends the nurse to get it. She tells everybody to eat. Neha looks worried.

Gayatri is sitting at the table. Shubh comes in and tells her to make "teekha khana." he starts saying that the doctor has said and then stops and remembers that Neha isn't here. He gets emotional.
