Food woes: Who thought I would miss Indian food in the US? I started craving for home-cooked Indian food so much that even a bagel started looking like a medu vada to me. I just wished that it tasted more like a vada though.
Almost arrested: I had to ride a pedicab (it resembles a cycle rickshaw) for a sequence. And naturally, I didn't possess a licence. So, when a cop walked up to me and asked for my licence, I was clueless. On the other hand, my director was losing patience because he was waiting for me to enter the frame. Finally, when the unit came looking for me, they found me with the cop and sorted the issue.
Push-ups on the road: Nobody had told us that it would be so cold. I was covered in layers of clothes that I couldn't recognise myself in the mirror. I even started doing push-ups on the road to increase blood circulation.
Sleep-deprived: Sleep was precious. If seeing is believing, check out that photo taken by our team while I was happily dreaming away on our flight back home.
Snow: We were at Central Park when these white flakes started falling on us. In no time, it was snowing hard and fast and the ground was covered by a blanket of snow. It was so beautiful that despite the cold, I didn't want to go indoors.
Changing on the streets: Due to a packed schedule, I didn't waste time going to my vanity van to change clothes. I had never imagined I would change clothes on the road, but as they say,'Kaam ke liye kuch bhi'.
