How should Rudra and Gauri fall in love?

Should it be sudden realization typical of what we see in most shows? Couple looks at each other, there is some filmi song playng in the background. They stare at each other for least three minutes (thanks goodness for fast forward). Or would you prefer Gauri to realize that she is in love with Rudra first or the other way around? Once either one realizes it, would you like to see them fight their feelings and desires and even try to deny them?
If the CVs are create and wake up from the same slumber Miss Pihu seems to enter in periodically, then we can have a very entertaining show with nail biting suspense, romance and angst as we watch Gauri (it would be more interesting if she realises she is in love first), fighting her feelings for Rudra.
HOW these writers do this will be interesting to see and will tells us viewers if they've got originality or will rely on the gissapitta Zeetv production cookie cutter guidebook on how characters fall in love. Attached with the guidebook are sketches as to how the couple should stand and how long they should look at each other. I also believe there is a section on how to compensate for height disparities (CVs will need to take this into account when they do the traditonal stare).

I want Rudra to fall in love with gauri first...after their marriage of course, purely because I don't want to see gauri moping after a Rudra who is still in love with someone else.
Plus I have had enough of seeing wives pine for their husband's love...though obviously here rudra will love Gauri after marriage even if he isn't 'in love' with her and would most likely treat her well.
It seems that gauri might fall in love first though as rudra plands to do things to make her fall for champu, which might inadvertendtly make gauri grow closer to rudra in stead.

Lmao at this part! I hate these timed stares. I'm sure people have lots to do than spend hours watching two characters stare at each other, blink and hide their faces!
Anyway I want the love to develop all in good time and at a steady pace.

obviously G is heading in that route of realizing her feelings for R, where as i dont see that happening over with R anytime sooner even if he marries G out of sanjog it wont be easy for him to fall for her, when he does later it would be a stronger one and no waking up unlike P, glad it was not i look at u forever, let my dupatta stuck to ur face like fevicol , oue ma he touched blah blah blah , anyways i never believed in love at first time its attraction which leads to talks n then come love, or wat ever .....

curious of how this is going to happen for R , and i love this kind of stories where one fall after spending time knowing each other and then deciding on their own ...............

Based on Gauri's character sketch, wont make sense if she accepts it quickly. Would like her to realize her feelings and then fight it a bit before accepting it.
Cannot be sudden at all for Rudra with the Pihu history. I would like to see him fall for her but then not realize it and misunderstand his feelings as just freindship and then it should hit him hard and strong one day that he is really in love with G- not any time soon prefer to see this wayyy after they are married.

let me see how this goes for R, not sure though ,

since its going to be sanjog wedding, and R might just take it but still finding ways to live in memories of P, he will be gud to G and stands for her all the time , when P returns may he will see hope and G out of her love realizes she can never be with R and she tries to unite RUHU and when she leaves our R will start seeing contrasting difference btw both ladies and P is not someone who will keep quite over G , she will be as usual blabbering out , R might scold it or so , may be R will miss her and realise his love for her ?? u can never say how anyone can fall in love this is just a hint

That is my personal choice. I agree with one of the posters above that if she likes him or falls for him first, it should not resort to a "pinning" marathon that is typical with other shows. The nonstop flood of tears would be too much. Instead, what would be more appealing would be the Ms Common Sense and Practical Gauri fighiting her feelings for Rudra.
I would really like to see Nani as the one who comes to Gauri's side to help her realize her feelings for him, not be afaid of them and help her get out of the marriage to be with Shanker.
As for Rudra, his love for Gauri has to be gradual since he is still obsessed with Pihu.
By the way, someone needs to tell Rudra to go to work or take up a hobby; he looks really unproductive and lazy. All he does is cry over Pihu; it is not looking flattering in a guy at all. Might appeal to women back at home in India - a man who cries non-stop - but with Rudra, it is getting stale. I don't like a bully or wimp in a guy and yet Indian male characters appear to sway between these two traits.

hey laila, can't believe I just saw this post! anyways a đŸ‘đŸŒ to your post! great post yaar. loved your topic and a good and interesting discussion can come out of this if many people take part. 😆

anyways, I don't really have an iota on how they will show their love story. all I want is to be sweet, simple and most importantly...REALISTIC! - like everyone mentioned, no 10 hour eye lock sessions, or dupatta sticking on face or even the usual tripping & falling....resulting to even more eye locks!! had enough of those. đŸ„±

like jaya mentioned, I do not believe in love at first sight either. how can you love someone at the first sight, not knowing anything about them? you basically fell in love with their beauty which is attraction - not love. anyways, thank god both rudra & gauri hasn't fallen for the other in their first sight.

should just be sweet & simple. spending time together and that resulting into love. - gauri may starting feeling something for rudra towards her marriage with champu, however, she should be shown fighting her feelings because this is a girl who doesn't really believe in love.

and I would love to see rudra fall for gauri after marriage with gauri because he still has that pihu hangover with him.

Thanks for liking the post. I never appeal to the mainstream of any forum and don't intend too. I just express what I think and feel.
I do like your points which I highlighted in your posts. I too cannot stand the usual tripping and falling. One of the things I loath is everytime there is a romantic scene, there is that annoying music in the background, the couple stare at each other and their hair starts to blow in the wind. Of course these are from the Zeetv Handbook of how to shoot a love scene. I am expecting better from Sagini as they sizzled up the screen with Rudra's kissing of Gauri, so hopefully they can do better. I do hope parents are not showing this show to young kids - it certainly is not family material.
For me I want something real, authentic and believable when it comes to them falling in love. I don't like this looking at someone's face and declaring "I love you" as was seen in another show that started on Zee just recently. You're just falling for a face. While I have issue with Rudra and Gauri's friendship and the speed it went, I am grateful that they've at least not had these two fall in love at first sight. That practically kills a show. There's only so much I can do to ignore some of the sillness in a show before I am completely turned off.
I think and wonder if the writers might have Rudra *settle* for Gauri - he knows she loves him, he likes her, but he never really loves her in the same way. Gauri starts to suspect it but it torn between leaving him and her desire to be with him. Then, for some reason, Pihu will return to Rudra's life, and Rudra has the chance to be with Pihu again. Will he leave Gauri for Pihu? Will Gauri fight to keep Rudra or let him go. Don't forget, there is going to be the time when Rudra will end his friendship or love for Gauri when he finds out that she was the one who told RR where he was hiding with Pihu and hence he lost his chance to be with her...
