Yeah I've just started watching this show...marathon like lol, but trying to make sense of it. I like the fact that the show starts in the middle of a break up, completely different concept and drags you in straight away...but more of those Ruhu scenes should have been shown in flashbacks over a longer length of time.
I feel like I'm watching a sanjay leela Bhansali film, very artistic and dramatic, but this is a daily soap and as you all said it's going at the speed of a train. Creatives might run out of steam soon! I've got up to the third week and already my eyebrows are rising in utter disbelief. It is too fairytale like and melodramatic!!
I loved the first two weeks when Gauri's story complimented the rich people's and they even made a statement about how the rich people's behaviour affects the poor without preaching..it was very subtle. But in the third week when they had Gauri forget about her shop and her quest to survive...it's starting to make me yawn and get irritated because I want to see that Gauri who thinks realistically and demands her rights.
Would have been great if she demanded repair of her shop...not forgetting she has no money to eat with and running after rich lovers. LOL 😛 They need to keep her spunk and honesty or she will become a sacrificing boring character. I loved the start where she was caring but focused on her goals. Gauri dear GET BACK TO THE SHOP! and leave the lover boy to come search for your help.
I don't see any problem in Rudr character - he is not perfect but agressive and possessive, its a good balance against Gauri - as long as she doesn't become too accomodating towards him, she needs to keep her attitude but provide that shoulder to cry.
Pihu is good too, except the marriage run away scene confused me, cuz she went happily on the wooden thing, then started going mad...Rudr didn't force her to leave!!!😆😕 Its like something got edited out in between. 😆
Anyways I LOVE the show because of Iqbal and Binny's acting and chemistry and OMG that BG music is heart rendering. So I hope the continuation of my marathon shows better things!
Loving RUDR and GAURI😊

Thank god someone feels the same way like me ....... everything is so damned rushed ..... is there a marathon going on ? .... some sort of world record of how many twists we can put in a serial in the least number of episodes .....

they should have shown more of pihu and rudr .... ideally i would have wanted gauri's entry to wait a little bit till the first story got developed .... if not, then more flashbacks were required .....
Rudr is not really showing many lovable qualities, is he ? And his situation at home was not so tragic and dark as we were led to believe .... because if you compare, all 3 of them have twisted families ..... and gauri ? whats this fast-food friendship and love .... they gave no time for it to build up .......

honestly, i loved iqbal in his first serial .... and i was super excited to see him on screen again .... but i am not really the fan girl type and i can't sit through a serial if the screenplay and direction are so shoddy and hushed.... i stopped watching last week .......

pity, it looked like to be one of those epic love stories type serial which people remember years later like kahinn toh hoga or even iqbal's own Kaisa ye pyaar hai..

disappointed

Okkkk so everybody has a different perspective on the bold, you seem to think that more Ruhu scenes should have been shown over a longer lenth of time whereas a good number of people here thinks enough Ruhu scenes are not shown they should have shown us more Ruhu scenes already. I do not find fault with the number of Ruhu scenes shown and I do thnk we will get more in FB mode once Ruhu separates. I do agree and like the fact that the story started with a breakup and sort of help us piece the story together after the fact.

It is too fairytale like and melodramatic!!But isnt it good that there is no dragging that you feel like watching a movie not a daily soap. Have faith on the CV's maybe they have enough steam to run this for quite some time without having to drag and drag like other Soaps.

But in the third week when they had Gauri forget about her shop and her quest to survive...it's starting to make me yawn and get irritated because I want to see that Gauri who thinks realistically and demands her rights. We saw her quest to survive yesterday so yes I am happy that she is back on her feet and fighting back now. It is a mystery to me too why she wouldnt make Rudr pay for her shop.
Would have been great if she demanded repair of her shop...agree...not forgetting she has no money to eat with and running after rich lovers. LOL 😛 They need to keep her spunk and honesty or she will become a sacrificing boring character. I loved the start where she was caring but focused on her goals. Gauri dear GET BACK TO THE SHOP! and leave the lover boy to come search for your help. This was all our complaint up until yesterday and as I said it still beats me why she wont demand money from R but we saw her also focusing on making a livelihood yesterday with a new idea. So that to me is our Gauri the brave character who had the courage to start a new venture alltogether, truly loved Gauri there. She used no support from anyone in jumping right back up on her feet from her fall. And also on Gauri's defence about forgetting the shop for a while it is just 2 or 3 days after the shop is broken down rt? Somewhere in between I lost count of the number of days that has passed by but I think it is only a couple of days.
I don't see any problem in Rudr character - he is not perfect but agressive and possessive, its a good balance against Gauri - as long as she doesn't become too accomodating towards him, she needs to keep her attitude but provide that shoulder to cry. agree 100%
Pihu is good too, except the marriage run away scene confused me, cuz she went happily on the wooden thing, then started going mad...Rudr didn't force her to leave!!!😆😕 Its like something got edited out in between. 😆I think we all know Pihu why she ran away with Rudr and later on got frustrated with herself for doing that. She is struggling between her feelings for Rudr and trying to be practical for her parents. She is just not able to make a final decision as what is more important to her. I think her character sketch needs no further definition or explanation.
Anyways I LOVE the show because of Iqbal and Binny's acting and chemistry and OMG that BG music is heart rendering. So I hope the continuation of my marathon shows better things!
Loving RUDR and GAURI😊

glad i'm not the only one feeling this way! i really want to like this show, and started off that way, but now i'm just barely hanging on... the characters aren't well-defined, their actions don't make sense, so many ridiculous loopholes, and the story is all over the place and moving way too fast... but i want to still give it a chance, even if that's just to see iqbal khan 😉

@Rach1
well, I do have my complaints, but don't get me wrong as long as Gauri stays true to her essence and I get to see more Gauri-Rudra...I can overlook any minor faults. Also as i'm watching catch-up episodes it probably seems like things are moving even faster than normal. BUT BUT BUT Overall I love the show!!! 😃 - esp the lil' boy and I want Rudr to remain a flawed character.

every show has loopholes,SSBS does too but its still much better than most of the typical shows on air. If we get into intricate details, one wont be able to enjoy the show. Everything on TV is larger than life,it cannot be as real as it is.

Very nice post and well written!! 👏 👏 👏 👏 .... I second your words!....
Pihu's character 😕, I am confused!!!!!!!,,,, She keeps changing every single minute, doesnt have any idea about leading her life..
She loves Rudra at some point of time, and dislikes at another point!!! Pihu - Rudr relationship is shown incomplete..
She couldnt take it when her family pleaded in front of Abhay's family , That could be the reason why She agreed with the marriage once again... If she had so much respect for her family, she wouldnot have eloped with Rudra on her wedding night!....
The bond b/w Pihu and her family z not at all shown, ( Except for her brother, but that too not at all in a wider dimension )...
On one side, She thinks about well educated and well behaved Abhay and on another side she gets upset with Rudra's temper.....
She doesnt exactly know where her happiness lies. ..She is stuck in b/w Abhay-her family-Rudra!
RaGa friendship seems way tooo rushed,...yes, friendship can blossom in the split of a second, When Gauri is in the run to make both ends meet, where does she have time to help Rudra!!? Its been days since her shop has been destroyed, no efforts are done to re-build it up!,...But she is more interested in solving out Rudra's problems... She never takes money from Rudra, but he without her knowledge can do the maintanance of it!, In that way, he wont turn guilty and it'll be a help to Gauri...
I loved the way Gauri was struggling with her life...her optimism in fighting with fate!
And for Rudra, he is ambitionless, all he knows is Pihu and life revolves around her,
I would love, it Rudra slowly understands life and learn a lot from Gauri and she makes him understand..and thus slowly reaching into another level of friendship....
And families of Rudra and Pihu : - No comments! 🥱
And yeah, I am overlooking all these...Waiting to see RaGa exploring their relationship....
