For some reason I just dont feel sympathy for most of these characters. I mean Rudr got all beat up today but I didnt feel bad at all...the drama was way too over the top. And Pihu...i dont get her at all. They are trying to make these characters complex which is good but then they need to spend time and not just show Pihu having mood swings every 5 secs for no reason. And to be honest...they havent shown Rudr to have appealing qualities either. He just gets upset allt he time and acts needy.

these characters havent been developed properly...and the storylines are rushed. For example since we havent seen any of Rudr and Pihu's happy days its hard to like them. Not only that but it's hard to understand why Rudr loves Pihu so much, I mean I dont think i've seen her ever be like nice to Rudr. It's just so hard to relate to since Pihu keeps on changing her mind about how she feels. So much of this show is based of Rudr and Pihu's love and yet we havent even seen them together long enough to get used to to idea that they love eachother. Not only that but i wish they had spend time showing more problems in ruhu's relationship too, i mean it would help me understand pihu a little more. ruhu share a love hate relationship...but we only hear about about the "love" and see only the hate part. i hope we get some passionate scenes with these two since their relationship seems to always be at either one of two extremes.

Also why is Abhay so interested in marrying Pihu? If this is an arranged marriage then shouldnt he be a little freaked about by all this and want to back out on his own?

And am I the only one who feels that Rudr and Gauri friendship is just way too fast? I mean I get it from Rudr's point of view cuz no one loves him and he doesnt do anything all day. But how does Gauri have the time to run around helping Rudr with all her own problems there. I mean how long have they even known eachother for her to care so much? I wish they developed their friendship a little more before showing her barging into some random persons house to save his love story

And what the heck is wrong with all the parents in this show...not one parent is shown to be normal...(except maybe Gauri's mom). Also I wish the show had more characters and didnt just jump from around with rudr gauri and pihu. I wish rudr's bhabi was better casted and shown more...and pihu and her brother and nice scenes. i wish even abhay did more in the show. in all i wish the show was a little more believable in terms of the characters and the storylines.

I rly want to like this show...and it has a really strong concept to work on. Mainly I think the show is about how sometimes the person we love isnt good for us (rudr and pihu) and sometimes we need to learn to love what is good for us (rudr n gauri)

I completely agree with each and every word u just said.
Too many loopholes.

Most prob, ppl are gg to disagree. And each of us have a reason to disagree that the show is not full of loopholes. But the reasons that have come up... are honestly reasons that we found for ourselves to justify watching this show. None of our reasons are reasons shown in the show.

Sangini, to be honest, has a strong concept that has a lot of potential... but poor screenplay. The episodes dont flow (try watching each week's episodes in a marathon & u'll realise) and the sudden changes in storyline are too fast to make sense of....

Agree show has many loopholes ....

Only if they werent so busy in rushing like some one whacking them it would have been more beautiful.....

i was confused about Pihu , the only thing which i concluded about her apart being Egoist and stubborn is that she is so immature , but Rachel did gud job by throwing some traits of pihu which made sense infact made a lot of sense

Yes Concept is very gud atleast now if they slow down it would be gud ... lets see but none the less i like this show , atleast at times i can connect with Main roles ---Tridevs

Secondly, I must say you snatched the very words from my mouth, esply the above quoted sentiment.

You're absolutely right in your views. There's many a slip between the cup and the lip, so to speak.

Nothing really adds up and I'm eternally suspended in the air with a deep sense of disbelief (slight misquote!) every time I watch this show.

I've maintained from the start that I find this show highly exaggerated and extremely over-dramatised.

Most characters are one dimensional, even Rudra. Pihu seems to be the only one whose character is being experimented with.....and that's failing badly by all signs so far!

Only 2 things make me watch this show...Iqbal Khan and Binny Sharma....and the curiosity to see how their relationship develops.

I think we all can agree that this show has a lot of potential and alot of talent behind it...i mean iqbal and aditi are big names...even binny brings in curiosity. i really want this show to be good cuz im an iqbal fan.

But the show is way dramatic...it hardly has mellow moments and Rudr is too over the top. the writers shud spend less time trying to make it dramatic n more time in developing the story which seems to always be changing. the show needs to be more believable.

This show is about different relationships and yet the writers dont spend time on developing these relationships...also they should spend more time developing the characters...esp rudr since he seems to be a center of the show. Rudr hardly has likable traits, he's just whinny n needy all the time.

I completely agree... The show has a pretty strong concept, and a good casting as well... But, the writers have not done much work as far as the character sketches are concerned. The show lacks in the execution part...

i love your post. Sometimes i also confused pihu character and about her love with rudra but still iam liking the show. i hope they slow little bite. So viewers can understand more.

You're so right, there is no one to root for in this show. You don't know why Pihu and Rudr love each other, nor why Pihu is now getting married to someone else (surely not because of one measely slap)! And also, Gauri... Her whole life is in tatters and she is focussing on helping Rudr? I thought without her store, the family situation is on rough times (didn't she sell some jewellery to pay the rent?) And yet here she is dreaming and thinking about a 'friend' - weird.

The parents, the less said the better. Over dramatic, overly madeup and totally over-the-top — without there being a good reason for it all!

The three main leads are really doing a fantastic job - but without background, it is hard to know them and feel for them. The only one character, who has been done a little justice too has been that of Gauri - for her troubles, that is.

phew!! finally some1 complained about the lack of story and character development!!

thank you all for penning down your views, i completely agree!👍🏼

wht the writers should have done was:

=>Shown Rudra - pihu's romance for the first couple of epsiodes (either as a flashback or current story) This would help the audience to connect with them as a couple and understand rudra's feelings!!

=>Rudra - Pihu's break up was the completely lame!!! Just for a slap she broke off with him and is ready to marry some1 else??!! Their break up reason is very important cosidering how badly it is affecting Rudra.

=>Rudra - Gauri's track is rushed!! They should have gone for a slow gradual progress which seems realistic.

=> gauri befriending a guy??? i find that weird on one hand gauri' mom deosn't want her daughter to since cause her society look down on women who sing but has no probs Gauri helping a drunken rich guy??😕

Writers should pay more attention to character and story development rather than riding on actors popularity and chemistry!!
