Hi Nishi! This show started on 20th August. Well, it's kinda hard to tell you every little detail so i'll just summarize it for you:
Ganga lives in a small town and she has a aashiq 😉who loves her dearly and would do anything to marry her. His name is Madan and he's the villain of the story. On the other hand, Ganga does not want to marry him. Her father's dream is that Ganga gets loads of education but unfortunately he dies and Ganga and her mother can not afford for her to go to College after that.
Sagar comes from Mumbai to repair a dam in Ganga's small town and there he saves her life. Later on both of them fall in love but Madan always tried to separate both lovers from each other. Sagar later goes back to Mumbai but always remembers Ganga there. Then he is to get engaged with Kaveri(his childhood friend). She is a lovely and friendly person and Sagar's love is her life but she does not know that Sagar is in love with Ganga.
In the town, Ganga is to marry Madan(who kinda blackmails her that if she doesn't marry him, then there will be no food in her house and her mother, Ganga and her bua ji(another villain) will starve to death) but Ganga does NOT want to marry him so she runs away on her marriage day and her friends Tara helps her. When she is running away from Madan she and Sagar meet in a farm house and there they both make love😳
Somehow from Ganga's point of view, Sagar left her after they spent the night(when he had only gone to the Mandir) but he can't prove it to her cuz Madan's men hit him with their car, so he has an accident.
Madan again forces Ganga when they are to get married again but later she falls into the river leaving everybody to think that she has died. Her mom dies cuz she also thought that Ganga died but Ganga is alive and Kaveri(Sagar's fiance)'s dad finds her and sorta adopts her.
Sagar is abroad and Ganga is then to get married to Shekhar(Sagar's elder bro) but Shekhar dies leaving Sagar to think that Jhanvi(Ganga's new name) killed him.
Sagar's and everybody's perspective: Jhanvi aka Ganga married Shekhar.
Ganga's perspective: She didn't marry him. He died like minutes ago they were supposed to get married. But Jhanvi lies to everybody that she got married with him and is now his vidhwa just so that Sagar would marry Kaveri.
Current track: Sagar angry with Jhanvi and thinks that she is behind all of this when it is Balbir(Sagar's real bro)'s fault
