Akash came to the campfire in the college ground. It was going darker, and Khanna Sir and the students had lit a campfire. Akash saw Manya sitting on a log.
He walked upto her and sat down. He nudged her playfully, and she laughed. She pushed him back and whispered,
M: Akash!
A: Yes, Cinderella?
Manya looked up and smiled shyly.
A: Can you say...chuppi rustam?
Manya rolled her eyes.
A: KAha kyun nahin ki tumhi Cinderella thi?
M: Kaise kehti--
Om clapped his hands.
Om: Hey guys, mujhe ek idea aya hai! Kyun na hum ek game khelein??
Everyone clapped and cheered.
Om: Okay..how about musical chairs? Or rather, logs?!
Everyone clapped and joined together logs. Manya stood behind Akash as Khanna Sir turned on the music of the song "Ishq Hua" from Aaja Nachle.
One by one people went out from the game. Now the only people left were Akash, Manya, Karan, Om, Roopa and Kiran. As the music ended, Karan tripped over and Roopa pushed him, sitting on the log. Karan groaned and took one log away.
Akash shrugged his eyebrows at Manya as she stuck her tongue out at him. They continued playing until the only people left were Akash, Manya and Om.
Manya saw Om about to take a seat when the music nearly ended. She jumped quickly and took a seat just in time. Akash was sitting next to her, laughing.
OM: Not faaair!
KS turned on the music again, clapping.
Aisi chali jab hawa...Ishq Hua Hi Hua...
Just as the music ended, Akash and Manya both grabbed the seat at the log. Akash sat down and Manya nearly sat in his lap, only her side touching the log. She grinned sheepishly and pinched Akash's lap. Akash flinched and stood up, staring at her, shocked.
Everyone hooted as Manya sat back on the log, laughing.
M: I WON!
A: Nooo way! Cheater!
M: Main? Aur cheating?!
A: Haan! Tumne mujhe pinch kiya!
M: Acha? Kahan?
She stood up and put her hands on her hips.
M: Kahan pinch kiya?
Akash flushed, embarrassed.
A: Woh, uh..
M: Haan, bolo na...!
A: Manya!
M: Akash!
Thunder suddenly struck as rain poured down. Everyone raced inside the college building as the water pounded on the grounded heavily.
As the rain fell, everyone raced inside. The water blew out the fire in the middle. Manya was running inside when Akash grabbed her hand and pulled her back.
A: Aye, Cinderella...! You owe me a dance!
Manya laughed.
M: Cinderella, huh?
A: Hmm...Cinderella. The girl who danced my night away aur chori chuppai baag gayee...!
Manya laughed. Roopa peered outside from the canteen and tapped Goppu's shoulder. Goppu nodded and put a radio on the doorstep, laughing. Music filled the rainy night.

Akash held Manya's hand as the swayed to the song, laughing and staring into each other's eyes. He held her hand and swung her around, pulling her back close to his body.
He suddenly picked her up in his arms, laughing. He spun her around and placed her back on the ground, spinning her back into his arms.
Tujhko dekha tujhko chaha, tera hoga..
Jaane jaana main tere khwaboon mein kho gaya,
Aa choom loon main tujhe baar baar...
Lag Jao Mere Seene Se Yaar...

Akash stopped his car in front of Manya's house. She got out of the car, soaked wet. She looked up at Akash and waved.
A: Manya!
Manya stopped and turned.
M: Hmm?
A: Woh--aaj raat...I mean din...bahut...acha...
Manya laughed.
M: Good night, Akash.
A: Yeah..good night..
As Manya entered her house, Akash looked up at the sky.
Yeh kya ho raha hai tujhe, Akash? Aaj tak ladkiyan tujh per merti ayee...aur tu hai kii...?
M: AKASH?
Akash looked up.
A: Yeah?
M: Gaari mein bait jao. Bimaar ho jao ge...
Akash laughed as Manya went inside.
Kuch To Hua Hai
Kuch Ho Gaya Hai
Do Chaar Din Se Lagta Hai Jaise
Sab Kuch Alag Hai
Sab Kuch Naya Hai
Kuch To Hua Hai
Kuch Ho Gaya Hai
Akash saw Manya's room's light turn on.
A: Yeh kya ho gaya hai mujhe? Kya...kya mujhe pyar...? Agar tho yeh pyar hai...tho woh dekhe gi...
Akash looked up at the window.
A: Dekhe gi agar tho pyar hai...
Suddenly, the wind flew and the curtains rose. Akash looked up and saw Manya, her hair flying with the wind, come on the terrace. She smiled and waved to him. Akash laughed and jumped up, whispering in his mind,
A: PYAR HAI!!!!
Manya watched him, smiling confusedly.
A: NIGHT, MANYA!!!
Manya waved to him, laughing. She shut the window and smiled.
M: Pagal!
From one side, Manya smiled to herself, thinking of Akash. On the other, Akash laughed, waving his hand through his hair, thinking about Manya...

Manya walked into the college the next day and noticed the classroom was empty. She saw Kiran walking and raced upto her.
M: Kiran!
K: Manya? Hi!
M: Hi, Kiran! Sab kahan hai?
K: Actually, Khanna Sir is absent today. Tho sab gym mein games khel rahe hain! Tum bhi chalo na!
Manya shrugged and followed Kiran into the gym. Sure enough, everyone was gathered around, laughing and joking around.
K: Lo! Manya bhi agayee!
Akash looked up at him, giving him a glaring look. He laughed but stopped talking.
Om: Okay, okay! New game!
Everyone hollered excitedly.
Om: Simple this time. Spin the bottle?!
Everyone agreed and spinned a Pepsi bottle. The bottle faced Akash. Everyone laughed as Roopa stood up.
R: Okay, Akash, okay! Abhi yeh bathao...tumhe iss college mein, iss waqt, sabse acha kaun lagta hai?
A: Oh--
R: Noo wait! Tumhe yeh baat ghanna suna ker bathani ho gi!!
Everyone hooted, clapping.
"Come on Akashhh!"
Akash stood up.
A: Okay, okaayy!
R: Come on, Akash! Tum ghanna gao! Aur dheere dheere se oos person ke nazdeek jao...
Manya sat down and watched Akash. He began to sing,
A: Gulshan ki hai woh kali
Jo saare phoolon se bilkul hai judaa
Kya kahiye ho dekha hai
In aankhon ne aisa roop kya
Kya ajeebsi taazagi hai

He edged closer to Manya and stopped directly in front of her. Manya's heart raced as he bent down.
A: Aur abhi, issi waqt, mujhe Manya Sharma saaaabse achi lagti hai!
Everyone hooted and hollered.
R: Ohh come on, Manya! Tum bhi ek ghanna sunao!
M: WhaT? Main?! No way! Bottle meri taraf nain ayee thi!
Om laughed and rolled his eyes. He took the bottle and directly pointed to Manya.
Om: Lo! Agayee! Come on, Manya! Ek mazaak hii tho hai!
Manya looked into Akash's eyes and wondered if it was a joke or not. Was he serious?
A: Haan, Manya...!
Manya rolled her eyes at him. She closed her eyes and began to sing softly,
M: Roz Roz Woh Mujhse Kuch Kehne Aata Hai
Jaana Kya Soch Ke Kuch Keh Nahi Paata Hai
Yeh Pyaar Ka Jadoo Hai Uspe Chal Jaayega

The whole gym of students began to clap and laugh. Manya shrugged her eyes at Akash and he nodded teasingly.
Kiran: Come on, guys! Iss pal ko yaadgar kyun na banaye??
She turned on a radio and the song "Pyar Ki Ek Kahani" from Krrish filled the air.
Akash shook his head at Manya and laughed.
A: Lagta hai dance hamara ek definite insider hai..
He grabbed Manya's hands and brought her to her feet. The moment they began to dance, the song suddenly changed to "AAj Raat Chandni HAi.."
Akash held Manya close, staring deeply into her eyes.
Aaj Raat Chandni Hai...
Aur Tum Mere Saath Ho...
Bas Yeh Dua Hai Meri...
Aisi Har Ek Raat Ho...
Manya smiled as the music ended slowly. Akash was holding onto her, smiling as well. Roopa nudged Kiran and she nodded.
K: In dhono mein kuch tho hai..
R: Most definitely..
Akash let go of Manya and everyone clapped. Om shrugged his eyebrows at Akash who laughed and looked away.
Om: Kya chal raha hai tum dhono mein?
A: WHAT? Nothing! Me and Manya? OF courseee nothing!
Om rolled his eyes and pretended to agree.
Om: Okay, so main ussai baat karun?
A: Baat mathlab?
Om: Baat mathlab baat!
A: Tu tho ussai chertha tha na?
Om: Yea, but she's not badd...
A: OM!
Om: Kya hua? Main baat karun na ussai?
A: Tho karo na baat! Main koi ussai own kerta hoon?
Om shrugged and walked over to Manya. Akash stared as Manya nodded and smiled and then began to laugh. A pang of jealousy hit him.
A: Mujhe kya?
He began to talk to Roopa but kept giving glances to Manya and Om. He sighed and walked over to them.
A: Manya!
Manya turned.
M: Hmm?
A: Chalo mere saath...
M: Per kahan?
A: Chalooo na!
He grabbed Manya's hand and brought her outside in the garden.
M: Kya hua Akash?
A: Err...woh...mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai, Manya...
M: Kya? Kaho...
He shook his head.
A: Uh, never mind..
M: Akash, kya hua?
A: Kuch nain..
M: So you brought me out here to say nothing?
A: Itna ghussai hone ki koi zarurat nain ai! Tum andher jaise bahut important baat ker rahi thi na!
M: How do you know? MAybe i was!
A: Kis ke saath? Om ke saath?
M: Haan, tho?
A: Tho main zyada important hoon!
M: KIS NE KAHA?
He stared into her eyes as she stared back.
Kuch Ho Gaya Hai...
A: Just shut up!
M: NO!
A: MANYA!
M: AKASH!
Akash looked out at the garden. Manya rolled her eyes and frowned.
A: Manya, woh dekho...
He pointed at beautiful trimmed bushes. Butterflies were flowing all over them, circling the garden.
M: How cute!
Akash smiled as he watched her race to the butterflies. She took them in her hands and giggled. Akash squinted under the sun and smiled. He thought to himself,
A: Kyun mujhe aisi...oh God...Akash Rathod pyar mein bhi?
Manya looked at him and saw him laughing.
M: Kya hua?
A: Er...
He walked close to her. Her hair was tied in a ponytail, and he reached over and opened her clip. Manya looked at him, surprised.
M: Akash--
A: Tumhare baal khulai bahut achai lagta hain, Manya...
Manya stared into his eyes. She reached over, laughing, and messed up his hair.
A: Mere baal aise achai lagta hain?
M: Uh..no..I just felt like messing up your hair..!
She laughed and raced away.
A: Manyaaa!!!
He laughed and raced after her, grabbing her by the waist. He spun her around.
M: Akaaash!
Manya pinched his arm and he let go of her quickly. She stood straight and narrowed her eyes at him.
A: Kya? Aise kyun dekh rahi ho?
Manya walked closer to him.
A: Ayeee! Meri izat per haath daala na..!
Manya giggled and began to pinch him around the waist.
A: You pervv!! Chodo mujhe!
M: Ladki kahin ke!
She laughed and continued pinching him as he yelled and fell backwards, suddenly falling into the pool. She stood over him and stuck her tongue out at him.
A: Not so fast, Manya ki bachi!
He pulled her leg and she toppled into the pool, screaming.
M: Akaaashh!!
Akash laughed and grabbed her in the water, holding on tightly. Manya stopped shrieking and stared into his eyes, breathing heavily.

M: Akash?
A: Haan?
M: Ek baat kahun?
A: Kaho na...Manya...
