Akash laughed and took out his hand.
A: Dance?
M: Yahan?
A: Why not? Aur tho kuch hai nahin, we might as well pass time...
Manya giggled but placed her hand in his. He stood her up and held her by the waist. He bent down in her ear and whispered,
A: Vaise..tumhare bhai mind tho nain kerein ge?
Manya rolled her eyes.
M: No, Akash, it's okay. Main tumhari sifarish karun gi!
A: Acha? Kyun? Mujh mein aisi kya khaas baat hai?
Manya looked at him in the eyes as the lyrics played,
Jab Jab Dekhun tumko Dekhun...
Yu bas jao ankhoon mein, yoon bas jao ankhoon mein...
A: Hmm?
Manya rolled her eyes.
M: Tumne koi khaas baat nain ai Akash..
A: Oh please! Sab mujh per jaan dhaite hain!
He spun her around and brought her back close to his chest. She looked into his eyes and whispered,
M: Think again, Akash. Kyunki Manya Sharma kisi per aise hii nain jaan dhaiti!
A: Oh? Manya Sharma mein aisi kya khaas baat hai?
Manya giggled and stepped back from his dance. She spun around.
M: Dekh lo!
While they were talking, the music stopped playing. Akash ran to the door but heard only silence. He slammed on the door.
A: Hey!! Koi hai, kya?!
No one answered. Manya looked at him, panicking.
M: Akash! Ab kya hoga?
A: I don't know, Manya. Sab gaye kahan?
M: Time kya hua hai?
A: Main tumhe koi garri lagta hoon?!
M: Idiot! Watch nahin pehn sakte?
A: Oh! Main idiot hoon! Tum tho aise keh rahi ho jaise tumne wrists bari hui hain!
M: Shut up! Dhervaza kholo!
Akash put his hands on his hips and glared at her.
A: Main tumhe Superman lagta hoon?
Manya rolled her eyes.
M: As if. Ek dhervaza tho khol nahin sakte; superman bannai chala!
Akash gave her a dirty look. He banged on the door, and with a heavy jolt, it pushed open.
M: Yes!
They both raced out onto the stage, only to be greeted by darkness. Manya glared at Akash and mimicked his words,
M: Jab music bandh ho ga na, tab hi humein koi sunnai ga! Lo! Sun liya sabne!
A: Shut up, will you?!
Manya grunted angrily and took a step down the stage. Her foot slipped in the darkness and she fell down.
A: Main jaanta tha! Tumse koiii kaam teek tarha se nain ho sakta!
M: Shuttt uppp!!!!!
They both heard footsteps coming into the auditorium, and then a booming voice say,
"KAUN HAI WAHAN? WHO IS THERE AT THIS TIME? THE AUDITORIUM IS CLOSEDD!!"
Manya stood up and held Akash's arm tightly. A heavy, fat woman came into view, staring at them through her thick glasses.
W: How dare you?
A: What? Humne kya kiya?
W: Kya kiya? Ek closed auditorium mein dhono baahein daal ker khere ho, aur kehte ho kya kiya?!
Manya let go of Akash's arm quickly as if it were on fire.
M: No, ma'am, we just--
W: Save it! Chalo principle's office mein!
A: FOR WHAT?
W: For romancing like this!
M: WHAAATT?
W: Chalte ho yaan security ko bulaoon??
Manya and Akash stepped off the stage angrily. Akash glared at Manya as they walked out.
A: Chipakna zaroori tha?
M: Haan, meri ghalti thi ki main aag se darr ker shetan ke paas pahonch gayee!
A: Oy, hello! Don't use your middle class sayings on me, okay?
M: They're not middle class!
Akash rolled his eyes as they stepped into the principle's office. The woman glared at them and picked up her phone.
W: I'm calling your parents!
Akash and Manya stared at her, and then at each other.
A: Uh-oh...

A: Tumhare Dad ayein ge?
M: Nain, chanda mamu ayein ge!
A: Huh?
M: Of course Dad ayein ge!
Akash smirked again.
A: I bet he's going to be wearing a kurta with--
The door suddenly flew open. A rushed, middle aged man wearing a black suit with a white buttoned shirt and black tie stepped in, taking off his sunglasses. He looked like he had just been interrupted from a very important meeting.
Man: Manya! What is this, sweetheart?
M: Woh, Papa...
Akash looked at Manya, shocked, and then at the man. He was no middle class man; he was a stinking rich business man. Akash, in shock, remembered Manya's steps into SZ with her churidaar dress.
MS (Mr. Sharma): What's going on? Main ek meeting mein tha and I got a call that you were--kaun hai yeh ladka?
M: Uh, Papa, yeh Akash hai...
MS: KAUN AKASH?
Another man, also wearing a suit and tie, stepped in.
"Akash Rathod. Mera beta!"
MS, Akash and Manya turned to look at the man. Akash sunk down in his seat and tugged Manya's sari.
A: Oh nooo...
M: KYun..darr gaye? Mere saamne tho aise hero banthe phirte ho!
MS and MR (Mr. Rathod) stared at each other. Suddenly, they burst out laughing.
MS: Vikram, tu!!!
MR: Ravi?!?!
Akash and Manya looked up, confused. Their fathers suddenly embraced each other into tight hugs.
MS: Kitni dher baadh mila hai tu! Bhabhi ji kaise hain?
MR: Teek taak! Aur meri bhabhi?
MR looked at Manya and Akash.
MR: Yeh tho...chotti Manya hai na?
MS: Haan! Aur yeh..Akash?!
They hugged each other's childrens. Akash and Manya looked at each other, shrugging in confusion.
MR: Manya...tu kitni pathli ho gayee hai! Bachpan mein itni motti hoti thi!
Akash smirked.
A: I'm not surprised!
MS patted Akash's back.
MS: Oy, kitna pathla hai tu! Gym ni jaata?
Manya smirked back and stuck her tongue out. They both stepped back as their fathers chatted. Akash looked at Manya, confused.
A: Uh..so hum trouble mein nain ai?
M: I guess not...

Manya was sitting in her porch on a swing, staring at the moonlight. She heard a car's engine and looked down.
The car stopped and out stepped Akash. Manya looked at him walk over to the house, holding a card.
A: Oh..hi..
M: Tum yahan kya ker rahe ho?
Akash frowned.
A: Bol tho aise rahi hai jaise main rape kerne aya hoon!
Manya peered down at him.
M: Tumhara kuch patha bhi nain hai...
A: Of course, Manya. Main kisi bhi waqt tum per toot per sakta hoon!
He leapt at Manya, who screamed and jumped off the swing.
M: Janwar kahin ke!
Akash laughed and mimicked her.
A: Janwar kahin kee!
M: Kya chaiye?
Akash shook his head and looked down at her clothes, a cute orange churidaar.
A: Aisi dressing kyun kerti ho?
M: Tumhari PROBLEM kya hai? I like to follow my tradition and culture.
Akash smirked.
A: Aunty hain? Mom ne unhe invitation baija hai to a party at our house.
Manya looked down at the card he was holding.
A: Tum bhi asakti ho, Manya. Banderiyun ke khilaaf koi ban nahin hai...
M: Acha? Aur saand ke khilaaf bhi nain hoga if you're there, right?
Akash gave her a dirty look.
A: Kahan hai Aunty?
M: Mujhe dho, main dhay dhoon gi.
A: Tumhara haath nain maangne aya hoon!
