Okay !! I have had the time of my life reading your wonderful words and how beautifully and intricately you have described Sandhir's feelings.. I was so inspired that i had to pen down this story that was in my head .. so this is my frist writing.. the last time i had ever written a story was when i was in 6th grade.. so bear with me and constructive criticism is more than welcome !!
DON'T WANT AN ENDING
Sanyukta Agarwal ,today ,was faraway from the chirpy , down to Earth person that she was as she was furiously marching towards the mechanical lab with a humiliating picture of herself in her hand that was pinned onto the notice board by none other than her sole enemy Randhir Singh Shekhawat. She was mad , her eyes were ablaze with fury.Just when she thought things could not get any worse than this , she was proved wrong by him. He was always there adding fuel to the fire.
Sometimes she wondered , " Does he really despise me to such an extent that he would go to any extreme to hurt me ? "
But today her rage overpowered any sympathy or care that she had for Randhir. As she entered the lab she saw Randhir working all alone on a machine.Things weren't easy for him either . First his problems with his family and now his new found feelings for his arch enemy Sanyukta have left him incredibly confused. He was trying to recollect the exact time and event when he started falling head over heels for her. But he couldn't . He didn't realize when this girl he loathed so much started having such an impact on his life. He tried to shoo away those feelings by ignoring her , taunting her and mocking her, Hurting her intentionally , thinking this could make him erase the feelings he is currently having for her. But all in vain. His latest plan of posting a picture of Sanyukta washing a bunch of clothes also didn't help. It did not make him feel better , it actually made him feel worse and realized how wrong that was . But it was too late.
As soon as she saw him she ran in, grabbed his shirt, Turned him around by his collar facing her and placed a tight slap on his face. Randhir was completely taken aback . He was shocked . He couldn't register what had just happened. He went to grab her shoulders harshly to pin her against the wall but stopped just when he saw tears streaming down her face. She was broken , Shattered. He understood what had just happened and broke their eye contact looking towards the floor admitting it was his fault this time and what he had done was completely out of bounds.
She whacked him again on his other cheek removing all her agony and hatred inside her . She ripped apart the picture , crumpled it and flung it on his face. He stood there feeling terrible , ashamed of himself but moreover he was mad at himself for hurting someone he thought he was in love with. Tears were almost escaping his eyes too but he managed not to show it.
" HOW DARE YOU !!!!!!! HOW DARE YOU RANDHIR SINGH SHEKHAWAT !!!!!! " she screamed her lungs out. " HOW DARE YOU HUMILIATE ME LIKE THIS ???? Is that how much you HATE ME ???? LOATHE ME ??? Is that how much you want me out of this college? " She yelled .
Randhir stood there just listening to her harsh words but she wasn't wrong. All he wanted to do was hug her tight and apologize and disclose his real intention for hurting her. But it obviously wouldn't make sense to her, or to anyone as a matter of fact. He went ahead to console her and tried to approach her by holding her shoulders. But she pulled away , threw his arms away. " Don't you dare touch me ... Talk to me .. Or cross my path ever again !!!! Do you get it ? Whatever we had .. enmity , maybe a small moment of friendship its all over .You want me to leave right ?? Don't worry Randhir, i'll be out of your life very soon. " she said softly but firmly trying to speak as she choked after all that crying.Randhir was there motionless still not lifting his eyes as he was too disgusted with himself to make any eye contact with her. He was hurt too.Finally a tiny little drop of tear did mange to escape his red eyes. But sanyukta failed to notice it as she was storming out of the lab. Just then he grabbed her by her hand. She did not turn around to see him but didn't pull away either indicating he had a chance to defend himself .
" I'm sorry. I know my apology is worthless to you now. But you have no idea how you have been making me feel for the last several days. Don't Leave .. Just Don't Leave .. Don't Leave... ME ! "
Randhir was crying now. With tears more than sanyukta's running down his face. Sanyukta's eyes widened in shock. She was dumbstruck.. " is he crying ??? is he really crying ?? for me?? " she thought. She turned around to be proven right. That was the moment when her feelings of affection resurfaced for him. She walked towards him with their fingers still interwined .. waiting for him to continue.
" You always think i am the bane of your existence and i don't blame you. Sometimes i did all those things just to keep you close to me . Our constant bickering , tiffs , altercations always somehow brought us together. I'd rather have you hate me than not to have you in my life at all.I know it all sounds surreal to you. But i am not trying to hurt you or trying to play games with you this time. I need you Sanyukta .. like i never have ! I always thought i was incapable of love or real feelings. Hence i thought hating you would be easier. But the truth is .. I need you .. I need you in my life .. " He slowly lifted his other hand and caressed her face and he continued .. " It killed me when you were ignoring me lately .. and it killed me when you chose to speak to everyone but me ..especially Parth.. It Kills me when you are around him and when you defend him all the time .. I hope someday you'd feel that way about me .. I hope someday i'd be worthy enough to be seen with you .. But until then please let me be a part of your life .. as your friend or even as your enemy .. "
Sanyukta was speechless and was touched by his words.. she didn't know what to say ..she had never seen this side of him.. he was a softy.. and she admired him for it .. she wanted to say so much.. she wanted to reciprocate his feelings.. but she couldn't utter a word at that moment.
He slowly leaned in forward , their proximity should have made her uncomfortable but it didn't . He took both his hands and placed it around her face and sealed her lips with a tight kiss with tears pouring down both their faces. She just stood there , she didn't react but didn't pull away either . He broke the kiss thinking he went too far. But she didn't mind..
Randhir finally built up the courage to say the following words ..
" Sanyukta , there is more to our story.. I don't Want an Ending .. Just not yet'' and walked out of the lab leaving her hand finally.
Sanyukta was numb just like her hand that randhir had been tightly gripping onto all this while..
She said to herself wiping her tears .. " Randhir Singh Shekhawat .. this isn't the end .. But a beginning of a very beautiful journey ..that we are going to be a part of .. TOGETHER !! " she smiled . :)
TADAA !! the end .. i hope you guys liked it .. It was my first attempt to write something .. i need all the encouragement i can .. thank you ... drop your comments .. and tell me if i should write more .. since i am sitting jobless right now during my vacations !!
