In Narang house, Kuku is sitting at the dining table giving instructions to Ashok whos is making the guest list. Daljeet comes downstairs and informs Kuku that he has taken care of the fire crackers. Kuku says what is the need to destroy money on fire crackers as they are nothing but a source of pollution. Daljeet tries to say something but Kuku starts asking Ashok about the sweets which were ordered.
Prabhjot and Goldie are are making diyas while Saru is also doing other preparations for diwali. Preeto brings the oil for the diyas. Prabhjot tells her to pour them in the diyas. Preeto pors the oil carelessly so that some oil pours out. Saru instructs Preeto to pour carefully, Prabhjot does not like this.
Amro comes in the living room and is happy to see Mehto making Rangoli and praises her for making such beautiful Rangoli. Goldie sees that Amro is holding a bucket in her hand full of freshly washed clothes. When Goldie sees this, she quickly leaves the room saying I am just coming. Amro comes to the mandir area where Prabhjot, Saru and Preeto are making preparations. She tells Preeto that if her work is finished she must go up on the terrace and spread these clothes to make them dry. Preeto says my hands are dirty with oil. Amro then tells Prabhjot to do this work. Prabhjot gets tensed and says my hands are also dirty with oil. Saru parjai ji can make the clothes dry, after all her work must be finished by now. Saru says yes mommyji I will make the clothes dry. But Amro refuses and tells Prabhjot that ypu go dry the clothes as the bucket is heavy. Prabhjot reluctantly agrees. Amro says to Saru that if your work is finished go, drink milk. (Goldie and Prabhjot are listening with jealousy). Saru says mommyji I can go to terrace and make the clothes dry, I don't have any problem. Amro says no beta, you should not be careless about yourself. You are not feeling well and the doctor also instructed you to take rest. She takes Saru with her.
Goldie comes to Prabhjot's side and sends Preeto away. She starts her drama ans says Parjai ji I can understand about myself, but what is your problem, why do you agree to their every command so easily? There is no such problem for Saru parjai ji that she cannot dry the clothes. Prabhjot is tensed. Goldie sees Saru coming towards them and she tells Prabhjot ot compose herself. Saru comes to them and says I don't like drinking milk but mommyji force me to drink 2 glasses everyday, and I know it is for my betterment. Prabhjot says really Parjai ji, mommyji is becoming too much worried about you nowadays and I don't know why. Saru is confused and asks what do you mean? Prabhjot says I mean to say that it feels that you are the first woman in this world who is going to be a mother. Saru is tensed and asks Prabhjot to say clearly what she means. Prabhjot says I mean that you will not get a problem if you dry the clothes. (Goldie is happy to hear all this) Saru says ok I will dry the clothes and she picks up the bucket. Prabhjot says you are not doing an enormous gesture for us. Saru is tensed. She carries the bucket and turns away.
Goldie senses that Prabhjot is feeling sorry for what she just said to Saru. While Saru is walking with the bucket lost in thoughts. Prabhjot says Goldie I think I said a little too much. But goldie assures her that what she said was alright. Prabhjot tries to get up to help Saru but Goldie stops her from doing so by holding her hand.
Saru is walking towards the stairs with the bucket, crying and thinking what Prabhjot has said. She climbs the stairs in her thoughts. In the middle, she slipped and comes rolling down the stairs. Everyone is shocked. Saru cries for Ashok and Mommyji in pain. Daljeet takes out the car. Prabhjot is shocked that all this happened due to her. The Narangs take Saru to the hospital where she is admitted at once.
Amrit and Bebo also reach the hospital. Bebo hugs Ashok and asks him how all this happened? She tells him that Prabhjot parjai ji called me andinformed me about Saru Parjaiji. She wipes Ashok's tears and requests him not to cry. She says God will make everything all right. Ashok says I am worried more about your Parjai because her condition is not good. If anything happens to the child, she will be devastated. Amrit says Praji have faith, nothing will happen to parjai ji and the child. Bebo sees that Kuku and Amro are on one side; Kuku sitting on the sofa while Amro crying silently leaning against the wall. Bebo and Amrit looks at each other with understanding. Bebo goes to Amro who hugs her, while Amrit goes and sits besides Kuku.
Amrit slowly puts his hand on Kuku's knee. Amrit says Papaji please forgive me. I misbehaved with you on that day regarding my job. Kuku puts his hand on amrit's and says I am the who should apologize to you. Amrit tries to say something but Kuku stops him and says When life flows goes on steadily with a rhythm, it feels that it will go on like this forever. But when something happens, one realizes that there is no surety in life. Life can take any turn at any point. That is why one should say everything one has in his heart. There should be nothing left hidden in your heart. Amrit says Papaji don't blame yourself for my mistakes. I was angry at myself but I took it out on you people. I think this is the way one hurt his loved ones. Kuku says it is not called hurting, it is sharing one's burden. Amrit touches Kuku's knee and asks Papaji you forgive me? Kuku says there is nothing more important for parents than their children's happiness. If you and Bebo are happy, I don't need anything else.
Kuku sees Bebo and hugs her. He consoles Amro saying that my sardarni is very brave. Amro says I forbade Saru from doing any work. I don't know on whose instructions she went to make the clothes dry. She prays to God to make everything Ok.
Goldie is talking to Gursheel on the cell phone. She tells her about the incident. Gursheel says who pushed Saru down the stairs? Don't tell me you did this sin. Goldie says I didn't push her. But you have given me an excellent idea. If it is known who pushed her then it will create a pandemonium in the house. She tells Gursheel to pck her bags as now very soon she will call Gursheel and Maro to Narang house. Gursheel says in the meanwhile, I will finish the work I have started here.
In Amrit's house, Gursheel sees Suman going towards mommyji's room. She stops her and tells her to go sit with Geet as Geet feels sad and lonely when left alone. Suman says I was going to give medicines to mommyji. Gursheel takes medicines telling her that she will give them to mommyji. Instead, of giving them, she locks the door from outside.
There is a pooja in Amrit's house for his father and all family members are in the living room. Bebo prays to God that I want you to make Saru parjai ji well so that papaji's house remains peaceful always. I also want you to make mommyji well so that happiness comes in my house too. The pooja is going on, but bebo gets up and goes to mommyji's room. She finds the door locked from outside. When she opens the door, she is shocked to see mommyji standing up and looking at the date on the calendar at the other side of the room. Bebo thinks happily that it means mommyji remembers papaji's birthday. She goes to mommyji and asks her do you remember what date it is today? And what happened on this date? Mommyji is tensed.
