Bebo is the only girl in the family.

Jayati Bhatia entering Bebo

Jayati Bhatia who is currently seen in Maayka has been offered the role of the bahu of Amrit's family who will soon make an entry.Though Jayati has not signed the show as of now she gave Indya details about it.

Jayati informs that she can accept this show as she is right now working on only one show." I have been offered this role. We are working on the things .When they offered me this role I asked them that what is so different about this show and then they narrated me this character and then I realised that this character is quite different than that of whatever I have done so far on TV."

Jayati has also suggested few ideas about her character and she is sure that people will love it." The creative team is still working on it. I have not singed any paper as of now. But it is a lovely character, I am again playing a Punjabi lady. This time I am getting a chance to play a character which is of my age. I am only doing one show at this point of time so I do not think so managing time will be an issue for me."

Jayati believes in doing different characters every time. Recently her show Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Wohi Rab Ki Marzi had a reincarnation in the show." They have shown that two main characters are now modern and they will try to focus on their love story now, but my character of Jogan Mastani will surely come back in the show. Because, the story cannot move forward without Jogan,so for time being its on a break. So I can take up new work."

Jayati has been doing Maayka from the past two years. She also did Ghar Ki Baat Hai and few plays.Apart from Jayati there are others who are entering in Sabki Ladli Bebo as Amrit's family.

One look at the sweet and soft-spoken Bebo from Sabki Laadli Bebo and you would think she would have a similiar short 'n' sweetname. But let us tell you it is anything but that! Her real name is Shivshakti Sachdev — does the actress like her heavy-duty name? "Oh yes I do," she giggles, "In fact, when people hear my name, they want to know who I am and what I look like, so it's fun." The 16-year-old is playing the character of a 19-year-old in the show but says she doesn't find it very difficult as they both are quite similar. Shivshakti recently cleared her tenth standard board exams and says that she was able to balance studies with her shooting schedules. At the moment, the teenager says she has not made any plans for the future. "I'll see where life takes me," she smiles.

Shivshakti's first class pass

Shivshakti, who plays Bebo in Sabki Ladli Bebo, has just got her Standard 10 board exam results and she secured a first class. The young actress spoke to us in detail about her marks, her career and her desire to attend regular college.

Shivshakti, who did the CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education) system, says, "I got a first class, 67%. I was not expecting much as my exams didn't go too well. I was shooting for the show right before my exams. My parents also told me that I should not take tension about what percentage I get. They said they would be happy with any marks. But I am not happy with my score. I feel that I could have surely done better than this."
The actress wants to continue with her education and plans to get into the Arts stream. But she says that admissions are posing a problem for her, adding, "There are many issues coming in the way of CBSC students as they only get 10% preference. Even so, I think I will get into a college. I will try to get admission for a regular course in Navi Mumbai from a special quota reserved for artists. I want to take Arts to learn language and logic. However, I am not very good in other subjects under the Arts stream such as history and geography."

Shivshakti shoots for her show 20-25 days a month, yet she is convinced that she will be able to manage regular classes as well. She says, "I managed with my shooting schedule and studies before so I hope I can manage with a regular course now. I do not want to do correspondence so I will try to attend lectures. I have not thought about what to do in the future, let me first clear my 12th exams and then I will decide."

Shivshakti's costars and unit members threw her a party after her results were announced. But since she was not happy with her marks, she did not want to throw a bash for her friends and didn't even ask her parents for a gift.

Hassan's cross cultural wedding

Hassan Zaidi is on cloud nine these days. The actor is prospering both personally and professionally. Career-wise, he's made his entrance on the show Sabki Laadli Bebo (Star Plus). As for his private life, he's recently tied the knot with his girlfriend Christina Bauer. Indya caught up with the actor to find out more.

Talking about his new bride Christina, he says, "She is Austrian and came to Mumbai to work for an NGO that helps street kids. I met her through a common friend and for nine months we kept in touch through mail. Then, one fine day, it was Eid and I took her home to meet my parents. This year, on April 6, our wedding took place in Delhi where my parents are based."

As for the impact that married life has had on him, Hassan says, "There has been no change that I can see. It's the same as we were before we got married and I hope that it continues this way in the future as well."

On his character of Karan Oberoi, who falls for Bebo on the serial, Hassan says, "Karan is rich and confident. At the same time, he is emotional when it comes to matters regarding his mother and sister. Gradually, he starts to like Bebo. The story progresses to show how he crosses some boundaries and becomes obsessive about her. However, Karan is not a negative character."

Hassan also has a few other projects in hand, saying, "I am doing two shows with the production house Big Films which is venturing into TV."

Naitik of Ye Rishta... and Shivshakti of Bebo also come to mind when we think of perfect pairs. Bebo is a very sweet and innocent girl while Naitik is seen as a very disciplined and responsible guy, who is very caring and understanding too. Hence their chemistry would be perfect.
