Detailed response on your FAB post later on but u voiced out the exact concerns that I was having with this fast pace of VinDiya's track all along. I don't know if u'd recall but we'd always hoped for Bindiya not giving in too easily to Vinay's advances even back in the day when Vinay was merely cordial towards her. We kept advocating that we want Bindiya to resist Vinay and make him work for her love. However, things didn't turn out that way unfortunately...
EXACTLY Sana! I remember how you, me and Shumi had these long, passionate discussions about the course V-B's love story should take, way before Vinay had even begun to be cordial with Bindiya. I too would have loved to see Bindiya not giving in easily and drawing a line and coming back strong on Vinay in this regard but I guess she HAD TO be made a submissive girl and a door mat - it is such an insult to feminity truly. Well if this is how women in our country behave then I guess our battle for equality and against men's atrocities on women is pointless, it pains me to say this but Bindiya's character was a COMPLETE LET DOWN thanks to Friday's episode. Why did she retort back to Vinay that she is no toy but a person with feelings when she so obviously doesn't mind contradicting her own statements with her behavior? It is pointless to even expect this girl to come to her senses if Vinay gets carried away again for whatever reasons and throws her out of his house and his life like he'd done in the past - Bindiya turned out to be a WEAK, DESPERATE, SUBMISSIVE WOMAN whose only purpose in life is to play her husband's door mat! I never liked THIS Bindiya , the one I loved was different , she was silent but strong , this woman is just đđź
Everywhere I look around, I see these posts full of praise and compliments for the Friday episode and my mind fails to comprehend as per what was so magical about it in the first place? Tell me about it đ, I fail to understand too but that may be because we aren't here for the "hawt" scenes but for the ironic love story. The actors did their job well, esp Richa was sweet and very expressive. VK was effective too. But other than that, what was the whole hype about? Well yes, RS was good and she seemed comfortable but I felt VK was very very awkward, he didn't seem comfortable to me. The basic problem though, lied with the presentation and the idea of showing the SR, not to mention having the SR at this point when it was not at all required- it was so cheesy. Was it really needed to have them together like this at this stage of things? Could things not have taken a different route since BVD does excel itself at times in doing the unthinkable... U just expect a little more than the typical stuff from this show as a fan. It looked as if the season of SRs is around everywhere and poor VinDiya were made a sacrifice in the name of that trend as well...Real pity.. *sighs* I share your sentiments *sighs with you*
Anyhow, it may have done me more good than I would have ever thought. So I guess it could be a blessing in disguise for me for various reasons ;) LOL, I know what you mean, the zeal and the enthusiasm has worn off and there is almost this disconnect with V-B now that there is no scope for disappointment anymore, as there are no hopes and expectations considering how they have been ruined.
Be back later but thanxx hun for not deserting me all alone here *hugs* Aww *hugs back*
Love,
Sana~
