Daadiji says Ranbir isn't here yet. Rekha says she doesn't like Ranbir's attitude. Ranbir hears Rekha. Daadiji asks him where he was. Before Ranbir can reply, Rekha gets a phone regarding the preparations. On the phone she says that there will be two mandaps, and the decorations will be classy.
Rekha tells Daadiji that the preparations are going well, and she starts to subtly taunt Ranbir about Abhay and Liza's marriage. Ranbir says he's not interested, and there is no way he can contribute to it. Rekha says she needs his help, and taunts him again.
Abahy is looking for Liza, and she rings the bell. She'd gone shopping. Abhay seems distracted. She asks him what she can wear to the wedding. He tells her to wear anything. Liza questions why he looks so worried. She says she is happy that both marriages are happening together. She says that she is going to freshen up.
After she leaves Abhay thinks that even though everyone says his father hasn't said yes yet.
At home Daadiji says Rekha has brought so much stuff. Rekha says that she had to. Then she picks out different dresses, and then picks a backless/ sleeveless dress and says how about this for Liza. She taunts saying that Liza is modern and keeps mentioning how Liza will be set against traditions. She sees that Ranbir is present so she keeps poinitng out that Liza is so different from their culture and will not be able to adapt.
Lajjo is folding clothes when her father comes and they both discuss that soon she is going to go far away from them. Lajjo gets sentimental and father and daughter share and emotional moment before they are interrupted.
Lajjo's Maami, Hardeep has come along with the entire relations from Bhatinda. She introduces everyone, and then asks Lajjo whether there are any rooms. Then she says it is better start preparing, since the wedding is in two days, and the house looks so empty. She tells everyone to take the stuff they've brought inside,a nd takes Lajjo in.
Lajjo's Mama asks her father that everything else is fine, and he says everything has been prepared.
At home haldi ki rasam is going on, and everyone puts haldi on Uday. Ranvir watches, and he leaves after the rasam is completed. Rama is sad, and walks away, but is stopped Rekha. She says that she doesn't feel right that they can't do this for Abhay. Rama says that Abhay isn't here, to which Rekha replies that she can go over instead. Rama is uncomfortable since she has no permission from Ranvir.
Rekha tells her not to worry and gives her the haldi to take to Abhay.
