A cricket ball can kill. As Manz stated an Australian batsman was killed by such one blow. There are sensitive areas on the head and if hit there it can be life changing or fatal.

But what type of ball was in the clip?

Yes a person can die...the bal hit him at his temporal weakpoint hitting it forcefully leads to hemorrhage of a very imp artery leading to instant deatg

i dont know which ball this people showed...but in real life cricketers have died after the season ball hit his head.

saw post & came here to say yes but i think Manzz, Xarina,Overactor & anjs already gave answer..
Yes there is few Sensitive Areas in our Head so if Anything hit those place then It might be Dangerous For person, She/he may die or face few side effects especially in Vision & Memory part ..
And its only possible in Real life

It was tennis ball which had hit on the head. If it is a season ball then it makes sense.

Season ball is hard and it has got more weight. That is why the cricketers wear helmet when they enter the ground. In 1994, Lalchand Rajput died when that ball hit him on the head. Anil Kumble had fractured his hand in one of the matches with West Indies. Anyway, I have to surf for other types of balls.
