Yes a cricket ball can kill. Remember Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes who died in 2015 because a ball hit him on the back of his head.

The ball was probably thrown too fast, quiet possible to die whilst being hit by a cricket ball.

It did not look like a real cricket ball Xari... just the kids were playing with it and he died...
