Episode starts with Gopi having hysterics. Jigar informs that Ahem had an accident and that police found a body. He tells her that Ahem is dead. Shocked faces and dizzy viewers as camera angles go apes**t. Round and round the cameras go.
Kokila falls to the floor and denies before breaking down. Madhu is silently happy, rejoicing in their pain and refers to their treatment of Radha. So she holds Gopi responsible. They try to get Gopi to cry but she refuses to believe. She is sure that he will return and that he is fine.
Gopi is adamant that Ahem is still alive. Where she is, Ahem will be too. She convinces all, unsuccessfully, that nothing has happened to Ahem. She makes a lot of inspirational statements about husband and wives. She then goes to the temple to bend her kanajis ears and starts by giving him and us a headache by ringing the bell and chanting. She lights the diya and remembers al, the special moments of her life. I miss those moments. She dares the idol to not to let the flame go out.
The phone rings. Kokila tearfully tries to tell her. Gopi takes the phone and explains to Urmila. She asks Urmila not to say anything to Vidya and Meera. Urmila sees Gaura praying and curses her.
Jigar is called to the police station to collect the body. Kokila is unable to and laments. She cannot look upon his dead face.
Kokila steels herself to go and asks Gopi to come. Gopi decides to stay and wait for Ahem to come home. She prays for the dead man but does not believe that Ahem is dead as she lit the flame and will not allow it to go out. Madhu, in her mind begs forgiveness as she will wait an eternity for Ahem.
Vidya worries that she cannot get hold of her mother or grandmother. Urmila tells Vidya to watch what Meera will do on Dharam's birthday. Vidya explains how Meera is using Dharam. Urmila tells her not to worry.
At the cop shop Jigar and Kokila get ready to collect the body.
Gopi continues her prayers and pleadings, promising to include him in her decisions.
