Saath Nibhana Saathiya Written Update 23rd May.

Episode starts with Meera and her boyfriend gaining entry into the club. Gopi comes along but she is refused on a number of things including the dress code. She is not allowed in due to her sari. Behind Gopi three girls are chatting and they tease each other, one mostly about wearing a sari. The third girl replies that it's only for show for her mother in law and she has a dress to change into. Gopi hears and asks if by doing her a favour, that she could borrow a dress. The women decline but tell her that there is a dress shop over the road and that she could buy one there. Gopi thanks them.

At MB Kinjal is pacing, cribbing about Mansi. She walks in on the rest of the members looking tense and tries to cover up by asking about Meera. Paridi confronts her and saying that they found something else. She goes towards the tv, plugs in the phone in and a video is played of Kinjal lading Mansi that Vidya has arrived to meet Meera and that it is in Mansi's best interests to get Meera onside. Kinjal tries to stop the recording but Paridi stops her. She threatens Paridi but Hetal steps forward and berates her saying that for the last ten years Kokila is taking care of her family while Kinjal enjoys a life of luxuries. Baa is also disappointed and narrates the happiness that the house welcomed when she was born and says that without Gopi the household will never be united. Hetal reminds her that how much Gopi had done for her. Jigar reminds her how she used to set ahem brothers a challenge of how much much he and Ahem thought of her every Raksha Bhandan and searched out the best gifts for her. Paridi says that she has changed, that Kinjal thinks only of herself and does not even care for her son. Kinjal angrily tries to silence her but Paridi is not in the mood. She accuses Kinjal of deliberately putting obstacles in place to stop Ahem and Gopi re uniting because if that was to happen then Kinjal would have to leave. Kinjal raises her hand to strike Kinjal but is stopped by Parag.

Parag lectures on how ten years Kokila sacrificed being with him to look after Kinjal's family and he reckons that Kokila knew that Kinjal would not look after her family. He realises that They were wrong that Dhawal was the culprit. Furthermore he says to her that if she can cause discord and turmoil in her maternal house then how is she going to cope with looking after her own family and tells her that let alone breaking up the family, Kinjal can't more one leaf of MM.

Hetal backs him up that Kokila has a lot of trust in Gopi to come through and that because of that trust the family will survive. Baa tells her that there is still time lest she will not find time to repent.

Back to the club. Meera is drinking and getting her groove on.

Vidya is fearful as she and Ahem were sent on a wild goose chase. Kokila rings to get an update but is told that they have not found her.

Gopi comes back to the club in that beautiful white dress, it really suits her. The doorman/bouncer is surprised to see her in new attire and let's her in.

She is assailed by the smell of alcohol and is propositioned by a club goer. Gopi scolds him and sends him on his way.

Kokila is praying, Urmila comes along and happily tells how she sent Mansi packing. Kokila hopes that Meera will listen to Gopi, forgive her and come home. Urmila compels Kokila to comb her hair.

Gopi sees the couples dancing and sees Meera drinking and dancing away with her partner getting too close to her. She walks up to them and slaps him. Meera is angry and tells Gopi to mind her own business. Gopi tells her that she is her mother which further infuriates Meera. Gopi tells that they should go home. Meera retaliates by calling her Gopi and runs off.

Vidya and Ahem see Jigar's car and find out that Gopi has taken it. The realise that Gopi is in the club. They show Gopi's photo to one of the doormen who do not recognise her. However another recognises her and tells them that she entered the club only recently.

Party goers are exiting the club and the three women from earlier come out talking about the incident and how the girls insulted her mother so badly. Ahem realises that it is Gopi and tries to go in.

Tolu Molu are arguing about the colour scheme when Paridi stops them and says that she will decide on the colour scheme. She is excited at Gopi's return and let's them help.

Jigar arrives with the family photo of Ahem's family. It drops and Paridi is worried that it is bad luck.

Ahem and Vidya enter the dance area. Gopi and Meera are in the corridor with Gopi trying to make Meera see sense. Meera scolds a janitor, asking him to leave. Meera continues to argue. Gopi tries to reason with her and asks for a last chance. Meera says she missed her chance when she threw her in the lake and then left them again to prove her greatness. In her anger she kicks the bucket of water that the janitor left. As Gopi tries to make her understand Meera pushes her away. Gopi falls back and goes through the plate glass window. Vidya calls out, while a shocked Meera looks on.

Pre cap. Gopi falling through the air. Ahem is on the phone when he hears a shout, turns and sees Gopi fall onto the car. He calls out her name.
