Why do people say they have gone away, they have gone to god's place instead of saying the person has died? Meera after a while understood when baa said rashi has gone to god and is not coming back ever. It reminded me of when I was about 8 years old and my grandad died and they said he gone to god's home, they kept saying it again and again and I never understood what they were trying to say. It was only till I saw my grandmother distraught that I finally understood, had they just said he died I would have understood it better and they wouldn't have to go through the torture of explaining what they meant over and over again.

In my country and culture, they did not say directly that some one has just died. They normally said it's over...it meant someone has just passed away. Since i was born until now in my early 20, i experienced 4 important people in my family died (my great grandma, grandpa, grandma, and uncle)...2 of them just passed away last year. Today episode reminded me of the moment i used to experienced😭😭😭

It was the first death experience for me so when my aunt died the following year I understood what those words meant immediately. I live in UK and it was being explained in gujarati so I understood it as he's living at the temple because that where I assumed where god was. Iv notice they use a different phrase when talking to adults, and actually I understood that one much better than the he's gone to god's place.
