I doubt it has been scheduled to last forever. It has to end sometime.

My first thoughts when they showed Gopi delivering a girl was that Urmila will quickly start plotting to ensure that Rashi should get pregnant and deliver an heir to the Modi Millions.

However, if we look at it Gopi has come in and changed the way people think and perceive things. The may, again, change the familiy's way of thinking on this as well. In the last year or so a lot of prominence is given to cherishing the "girl child" so maybe SNS is joining in that social message that girls are to be seen as a blessing and not as a burden.
I don't like leaps. I wish they would not do them.

Gopis kanhaji ..will come too... And with such a smart dad all will be well... A girl will ensure aem Ji will never ever go back to being stupid ever ever again ...and no time leap plsss I can't see an old Ahemji ... Cause nazim sure as hell will not be playing a 50 yr old ... .. He's too hot abhi !!!!

I doubt if they will show a 25year leap, Sunny. The trend seems to be a leap of four to eight years.

You have raised a very interesting topic. The concepts of the male heir and the next matriarch. This prevailed in the Kokila and Hetal generation but the Rashi and Gopi generation this can change. As Xarina mentioned that the portrayal of the the social message is what seems to be coming through.

knew it would bea girl becuase SNS has been highlighting social issues..
also girlchild will create more drama..Urmi taunting gopi...
Ahem proud of his baby and bringing her up as his heir..
Gopi showering all her love on her daughter and seeing her get all the love and appreciation that Gopi missed as child
Rashi having a boy and then SNS carries on with drama every week..

Your absolutely right swasthi... boy or girl are really not metters...epsecially in SNS when they always raise a social issues... or that is why cvs shows a baby girl in MM...im also not agree on a leap for male heir sake...koki n ahem wont believe in all male n female heir... so only umri is thre to taunt gopi abt baby girl...but as we knows ahem n gopi give her all love like male heir n koki to..so is this boy or girl heir are such a big rediclous thinking 🤢
