Hii...

Guys its not a blooper post.

I know a little in the kitchen. There are a lot of ladies in the forum. Most of them may be very expert in cooking.

In yesterday's episode, it was shown Gopi using TOMATOES while cooking POHA...

Is it really possible to cook POHA with TOMATOES...

POHA are more delicious with less oil and less moisture... POHA becomes like HALWA when it is moist more...

As per my knowledge ... TOMATOES are added to keep the dish moist.

Hey It was all confusing ...

Just wanna know.. is it really possible to cook POHA with tomatoes... Just a curiosity

However.. personally I wont like to cook pohawith tomatoes.. cant even think of it

I think It was very weird.. however I may be wrong

What do u say ..??

I don't know what poha is, Manish, nahi toh bata deti.

Poha, from what I've seen in SNS, looks like something made of rice, so logically, I would think that you wouldn't put tomatoes in rice. Usually tamatar tarkari mein use karte hai--that much I know. 😆

Don't know what poha is, but hey if our Gopi puts tomato in a dish it just might be the next cooking sensation. See what a hit her achar was? Now imagine when she publishes her poha secret recipe in her new cook book. 😉

Yeah Rachna U r true... POHA means BEATED RICE...

And we usually make it in breakfast.. its quite popular in northern and central India... But we never put tomato in POHA.. so it was quite weird when Gopi Vahu.. being a Gujrati lady putting tomato ...was undigestable ... 😆
