I am re posting in here what I wrote in Sumi's thread -
I agree that lots of hurtful things were said, but I don't think it's the majority of us on this forum that was hurtful to each other. Some got carried away on both sides, but I think there are still many of us who remained on the forum and tried since Giaa left to keep the forum going and tried to be a middle ground in the fighting.
Just because a group of people were hurtful to you and then you retaliated and was hurtful to them does not mean this animosity should keep going. I cannot imagine being hurtful to people who I have never seen and probably will never see. It needs to end somewhere, we have all been hurt in our lives but to not accept an apology and to seem to want to hold on to the hurt is not good for anyone.
My mother always says forgiveness if not for the person who has hurt you but it's for the one who has been hurt as it frees you from carrying that burden and pain. At the end of the day we on this forum will end our time with each other as the show will come to a close sooner or later, why break the friendships we've shared and the good memories and continue with the venom and hurtful language.
Sometimes you have to be the bigger person and let it go.
