SNS was stuck in a warp for so long. Everytime we thought progress was going to be made or that the story was going to move along only the tiniest of movements were made or the story never went anywhere!!
For a couple who in reel time have been married for 2 years and have been living in close proximity something was bound to happen. Slowly Ahem was made aware of the reality of Gopi's attributes and his anger and hate melted under her pure heart. He was shown to be missing her and wanting to be with her which speaks more than words could.
Anita's return for me was never needed but I can see why they brought her back. Ahem was able to put his past firmly behind him and truly acknowledge that Gopi is the one for him. Gopi didn't really need the punishment of having Anita there but I suppose CVs wanted to show us a Gopi who would fight for her marriage although until the singing comp I'm not sure that really came through. Anyway I like everyone else was more than glad when Anita was shown the door - she was no longer needed in the show she had served her purpose anyway so it was high time she left. Even Kinjal was told that Umang's own sister didn't agree with what he had done so even the beginning of Kinjal's redemption has been put into place.
Now Gopi is pregnant and although maybe it seems rushed the seeds were sown (pardon my pun!!) months ago at Holi. And once she did become pregnant we couldn't have the story stagnate in the same place of Ahem refusing to say anything. Who knows how long it would have taken him to work up the guts to say anything to her if circumstances hadn't conspired to make him confess. He may have done it in his mind but the boy was hesitating to say it still.
So the story is moving onto the next stage. We haven't had the honeymoon period for our GoHem but I believe that was never going to happen whether it was Giaa or Devoleena. The CVs are intent on making sure GoHem have issues in their life together so they weren't going to confess and have a happy time until they chose to have a baby. The baby is serving as a catalyst in the next stage of their life together. It will either bind them together or tear them apart.
So as a SNS fan I am overjoyed that the CVs added another dimension to the story to move it along. I didn't want GoHem to be stuck in limbo and yes they may have problems even now but there is hope now.
