Guys mailed the following to star.

Dear Star,

U are entertaining us for years.We all love to watch ur shows for it's quality.But the recent removal of Gia Manek from Sath Nibhana Sathiya has let down all we fans of sathiya..we all used to watch sathiya as we used to feel really relaxed watching it.With Gia as Gopi,she lived the character of gopi portraying all the innocence and charcteristics needed for the character and along with Nazim(Ahem) they made a rocking pair.It was a treat to watch them together.We have nothing against the new actress but somewhere it is getting difficult to connect and no one is liking it.We really miss Gia and scenes of NAZIM and GIA.We believe u will understand and bring back Gia on the show.We are sure for a very good TRP ranking with gia back.Most of them have quitted watching the show and are not going to watch until Gia is back.We really miss Gia and want her back,so that we can see Nazim and Gia as Ahem and Gopi which is a treat for all we fans..All of us would be really greatful and happy with u if u bring back Gia, PLZZZ!!!!!!!!!!! PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For us Gia is Gopi and Gopi is GIA AND NAZIM AND GIA ARE AHEMGOPI.

Dear Star TV viewers forum,

I am a big fan of Saath Nibhana Saathiya and have been watching this serial right from the day one.. The recent issue with replacing the lead Gia Manek with a new actress was quite disheartening. Gia Manek is a great actress and she had made the character of Gopi come alive .Her expressions, her dialogue delivery and body language was all apt for Gopi's role. We really miss her and this new actress is definitely not able to reach anywhere near Gia's acting capability. The way she was also replaced and thrown out of the show was a very unprofessional act and the reasons given by star are not justified. Viewers are already losing impression about the double standards of Starplus and eventually star will lose the viewership.. We cannot watch Saathia without Gia as Gopi . We would prefer the serial to end rather than going the way it has been after Gia's exit.. The fans have put in a lot of posts on starplus website have sent petition to bring Gia back to the production house and star plus. I have personally called startv customer care and have received no response. Please do not kill this serial and get Gia back before it is too late.
