I don't understand why an actress must stay in character for other shows? Are they not allowed to be different outside the show? For example, when Sushant was in Pavitra Rishta and performed on JDJ he was himself and not Manav. Why can't Gia and Hina get that same chance?

dats y we r fighting to get gia back.. n we r able differentiate btwn fiction-non fiction, characters n real personalities...more over sp has to b happy dat their actress z getting chances they hav to give chance to explore...

Perhaps this is something the actors should take up. If they are happy to sign the contracts than they must not complain afterwards. The public cannot and should not fight battles on their behalf. And if you do want to fight it than turn to another channel or turn your tv off. Nothing will send a stronger message.
