So sorry to hear. This seems like a poorly thought out decision by all involved. Why can't Gopi just be kidnapped/go overseas/go to cookery school etc like they do in other shows when leads need to do extra work. Why must this be only one or the other in SNS?
This is weird when it's just a minor character but changing the lead doesn't seem right. It took Ahem two years to get used to this Gopi, how will he cope with another one? 😕
You are right, also another forum member suresh added why didn't star plus concentrate on the other leads like RaJi and progress their relationship, and KinWal too.
But I think had Star Plus caved in to Giaa Manek's demands all the other leads who were refused and accepted they couldn't do it, would kick up a fuss, why are you letting Giaa Manek do the show then...people like Sanaya Irani from IPKKND for example, she was all set to do the show, but because Star Plus refused her, she didn't do Jhalak Dikhlaja.
This all leads me now to think why did Giaa Manek go ahead with her decision, possibly like Shaun mentioned in another post tonight, she is tired of the CV's story lines, no movement and constant crying. She wants to grow as an actress and try something else. So this decision she made, is bad for us (as we are used to seeing her) but also the show (risky with someone new) but she probably feels she wants to try other things and not be locked in this innocent Gopi vau role forever.
Giaa did say she would like to play a villain role. 😕
