It is interesting the way the show played out. First the concern from her mami then this message followed on by the folding of the challenge with trickery from Anita.

On face value the show looks to be a waste on film roll / memory space but is much needed for Gopi.

In Gopi's case, her journey is the realisation that she is worth every ounce to be Ahem's wife. Yes, she naturally and sincerely does things well but this is to strengthen her fortitude.

This first challenge will boost Gopi. It will be the next challenge, should Anita insist on it, where Gopi will need to use this, especially if it is to involve Ahem.

Looking forward to a mind blowing week ahead.

Mahabharata could have well been averted by Lord Krishna but he was instrumental in making the war happen………he was one of the chief architects of the great Kurukshetra war and here Kokila is the chief architect of this Gohem vs Anita yudh lol. As some are suggesting that Kokila could have or should have thrown Anita at her instigation that her son is not happy with Gopi. But she instead took the bait and decided to motivate Gopi also to join in the war against injustice and falsehood.

That scene in the kitchen b/w Gopi & Koki was so symbolic……..Gopi was as confused and in a big moral dilemma just like Arjuna was before the war when he saw his family standing right in front of him in the opposite camp. He told Sri Krishna that he cannot fight with his family & Guru in a battlefield. Then Sri Krishna says in the Gita: "You need not always be mild and kind ( this is exactly what Koki told Gopi), ……..I am the inflamed Kala (Time), the destroyer of the world, my purpose here is to destroy these people ( the kauravas). Even without you, O Arjuna, all these warriors arrayed in the enemy camp will not survive." Same way even if Ahem was not married to Gopi ……Anita could have never become Kokils's DIl and MM's bahu. May be Anita was a good eligible girl but she was not 'THE one' for Koki's son…..we can call it motherly instincts. Kokila would never let Anita have Ahem …..she would have exposed her anyways. But here she is making Gopi fight the war to make her strong for this big bad world and this will teach her to use head over heart. You are so right that Gopi has Koki to guide her through this war zone just like Sri Krishna. One incident that comes to mind is …….When Bhima failed to strike Duryodhana fatally, Krishna indicated the Achilles heel of Duryodhana to Bhima. In a way, Krishna was the brain behind Bhima's illegal actions. The war rule was that you could not hit under the belly but Sri Krishna reminded Bhima of his vows to kill Duryodhona by crushing the very thigh which he exposed to Draupadi during her Cheer Hran.

I want something like this to happen in SNS …….Gopi shd do some illegal action on Koki's instigation to protect her EM ji 😳😆.
