Though because of Rashi's promise, Gopi did not talk or call her Ahemji, she could no longer stay away from him. He heart wanted to speak to him to let him know how much she missed him & how much she knew he missed her !!!
Though Ahem spent the whole day in the office, he was missing his wife, his Gopi crazily. All his thoughts were just about her, if her anger has come down, if she has forgiven him or not. He was dieing in guilt that he hurt her & he was unable to pacify her. He needed her to be with him, he needed her to talk with him, he needed her to tell him that she has forgiven him in other words all he needed was having her back in his life !!! He kept checking his cell to see if she has called him or messaged him. He hoped that with time atleast now she forgave him !!! As he reached home, he was on a call & he did not realise that his wife was not the open who welcomed him home. As soon as meethi asked him about his green tea, he realised that it was his wife who always took care of him as soon as he reached home & today she was not around.
As he was told that she was busy by meethi, he just hoped she was just busy with work & anytime she will be with him. As he was climbing the stairs, he heard his Gopi calling him Ahemji...he immediately searched for her, looked around for her...because he wanted to just her her voice, he wanted her to call him by his name, he wanted her because he was missing her deeply. When Gopi was in the hospital & did not respond to any treatment, he could not handle her silence, he went shook her out of her deep slumber to have her back in his life. Thats how much he gets effected by her silence. He can handle anything, the world outside, their business, but one thing which he cannot is his wife's silence because in her silence he is lost, he feels alone, he sees no purpose of his life. He was waiting for her since morning that she would call him anytime & all thru the day he had been just waiting for her & he assumed that was what he heard her voice & walked away!!!
As he entered the room, Ahem immediately called her. Everyday evening after he comes home, it has become a habit for both of them as she came with the green tea to spend time with each other. He would feel at home after relaxing in her care & he waited all day to just be with her. He knew that as much as he craved for her, she would also wait for him everyday in the evening for those few moments they get together !!! But as she did not come, he was irritated on how could she just ignore him. He was angry that she was not caring for him & walked away !!!
As soon as she saw her Ahemji, Gopi could not stop herself but as Rashi tied her up & as she took the promise that till the time she tells that she should not talk with her husband, Gopi did not give his green tea or nor speak to him & did not go to meet him !!! Latter, she went in to their room & with him not there, she immediately took to bed & acted as she was in deep sleep !!!
Ahem walked out of the room & saw her in their room. He immediately relaxed as he knew that finally he had her with him & now he would ask her for her forgiveness & get her to talk to him & she would understand him. He called out to her because he knew she would just be there for him even without him asking but as he saw that she did not respond, he knew she was not sleeping & was just ignoring him. His ego hurt him on how she could ignore him even after making so many attempts & with anger, he went to bed. This is the 1st time Ahem is facing her silent treatment, her anger for such a longtime & he is lost & confused on how he can pacify her.
In life Ahem has never had to work hard on his relationships. He was the eldest son & Grand son & he was pampered. I assume when he was in a relationship with Anitha, he was again given importance & after his marriage his wife cared for him even without him asking for anything or even without ever raising her voice, she ensured he was treated royally. Never in his life, he had to pamper or pacify anyone & the only person he has done so far was his wife. Just one word from him, she used to understand him & his feelings even when he was unable to express himself. But today when the same wife is really upset, he is lost & confused on what to do. He needs her back to be with him & without her he is feeling hurt, alone & empty in life !!!
As Ahem opened the door, he saw Anitha & he wondered what was she doing at this point of time. He was already irritated with his wife's treatment & with her thoughts he had gone to sleep. Though Ahem cares for Anitha as a friend, he has drawn a line on where it stops. With each of Anitha's request he is getting irritated as she has started to interfere into his personal time !!! He did not agree to Anitha's request & with his wife telling Anitha about his meeting, he relaxed even if his wife did not say the truth as he himself did not want to spend any time with Anitha. He keenly observed that his wife was not asleep & when she said she was also not feeling sleepy he knew she acted as if she was asleep to just avoid him. As he wished goodnight & asked his wife to take care of Anitha's requests, he saw her nodding her head but not looking upto him. He was hurt with her treatment as she cared for all except him & walked away !!!
Gopi saw Anitha trying to take her Ahemji away from her & this time, she immediately stood up to fight for her marriage, her husband, her Ahemji. She did not let Anitha walk away with her Ahemji & stood in between them ensuring her husband walks back into the room supporting the reason she had given & also putting Anitha in place by offering to stay up with her !!! Gopi today realised that as much as marriage is important between 2 people, she has also realised that she as a partner in it has to fight for her marriage !!! Her husband may have said words which have caused her pain, in the past when it was really bad also she never gave up, then today after all that has been shared between them, she is no way ready to let go of her marriage. Today was the 1st step in that direction. Thou Rashi has been guding her, but when the situation arose, she took the decision herself to put Anitha in her place & without losing her self to negativity put Anitha to sleep by reading a book !!!
Ahem is still confused & hurt by his wife's behaviour, will he be able to pacify her or will he take out his anger & irritation on her & then Anitha again assumes things are not working between Gopi & Ahem & tries to create a greater divide !!! Gopi is fighting for her relationship, her love, her Ahemji & Ahem has no clue on it, will he become her strength or will he again disappoint her & discourage her unknowingly in his irritation that she gives up hope !!! Ahem has so many times rejected Gopi trying to pacify him & thank him. She decorated the room once to let him know how thankful she is for taking care of him, but he broke her heart immediately after taking care of her as he told her he would have done it for any human being. Today though it may not be at magnitude, Ahem is facing rejection from his wife for every effort he has made to apologise to her. He is finally feeling the pain of rejection by her which his wife has faced because of him !!!
