To being with, she misunderstood Ahem and Gopi's relationship based on a couple of agruments she heard. Since then she has seen multiple instances of an easy and loving relationship during birthday party, on breakfast table etc. Isn't that enough to cure her earlier misunderstandings? Instead she explains every incident as not wanting to hurt his mom or something similar. But the attraction between Gohem (that she saw closely - before going to the party) - was that also for his mom? How does she explain that to herself?
Does she really believe that Ahem loves her? If that's the case then why is she not truthful with him? Why does she have to resort to emotional blackmail and manipulation? Can't she sense Ahem's irritation and uneasiness when she clings to him? Or the irritated look of other family members when she tries to assume Gopi's role before others?
And what's her final goal? In a family as conservative as Ahem's, she wasn't accepted 1.5 yrs back. So, what makes her think she can make them accept her this time - she's not even trying to win over the family. And she can see how well Gopi has gelled with the family. Ahem didn't go against his family then for her - what makes her think he will do it now? Or is her goal extra marital affair and she's content being the other woman in Ahem's life.
I am kind of confused about her character (or lack of it!!) Somehow the CVs have made it really sickening and unpalatable. Now, I don't want a happy ending for her - but a room in some asylum.
