Gopi walked into the room to see Ahem on the call with the doctor & as she was setting the clothes in the cupboard, she heard him talk about how careful they need to be about Anitha. Gopi was really upset the way the things were working out in her marriage. Yesterday she heard him compare her with Anitha, then she heard him answer Anitha's questions & then the hug in the ground floor. She has started to distance herself from him as she was confused on what can be done about her marriage as she felt he was in the marriage because of responsibility. As she heard him talk about taking care of Anitha, she did not know how to react & nodded to let him know she will take care of Anitha.
Ahem realised that he had hurt Gopi in his anger & wanted to apologise the night before, but as she appeared to sleep, he did not know how to reach out to her. As the day progressed, he got busy with work & then Anitha's situation but back of his mind he knew she was hurt & hoped that her anger would have comedown. But as she walked out of the room, without a word said, without a smile on her face & ignoring his calling, he knew she was really badly hurt by his words.
As he pondered about the words he blasted on her in anger, he realised the gravity of the situation how his words were low & how it had hurted his dear wife. He could no longer wait to apologse to her & ask for her forgiveness. Gopi has become Ahem's peace, his calmness, his focus, his strength & his love without which he feels his life is empty without a goal or direction. He can take her tears, he can take her questions, he can take her innocense but what he cannot take is her indifference, her silence. In the past all Ahem wanted her to ensure she was never seen around him & even if she was in the room, he should never feel her presence. He wanted her to wake up before he woke up & move out of the room & come into the room after he slept. But Today without her presence, her shy smile, her pleasant face, her calmness around him, he feels his heart is lost & his soul is empty, feeling her hurt & he wants to beg her for her forgiveness !!!
He knew she was not talking to him & may not give him an opportunity to talk & apologise like the night before, so he wanted to sms her so that she understood how sorry he was feeling for what he has done & would give him an opportunity to beg for her forgiveness. As he typed the message, he heard a knock on the door. He was happy that his wife had comeback & now he could apologise to her & ask for her forgiveness. He was happy anticipating her reaction & when she would forgive him, he would just hold her to him. But as he opened the door, he saw Anitha at the door & his happiness vanished. He did not want to see or meet anyone & needed only his wife. At that point he did not care about Anitha or her hurt & he did not know what he could do when she asked if she could come in as she was feeling low !!!
As Anitha shared her pain, Ahem comforted her as a friend who was going thru difficult times, he was trying to build her confidence to fight in life & not to give up. Even when Anitha spoke about the past even today it did not touch him & as she asked him for his support, he told her that all in the family were together to support her. He did not commit his individual support to her, he did not tell her he was only there for her because today though Ahem is concerned about Anitha, it is only as a friend, only as a women who is going thru difficult times because of him. Nothing more. Even as Anitha was crying her pain, all his thoughts were about his wife. He regretted not sending the msg, he regretted that he had delayed asking for her forgivness & with now Anitha here he did not know how he could just reach out to his wife !!!
As Ahem saw his wife walking form at the door, it broke his heart. He wanted to run to her, to hug her & ask her to forgive him. He wanted her to not leave him alone as without her his life was nothing. He needed her very presence to put back life into his soul & did not care about anyone even Anitha !!! Even as he tried to do that, he saw his hand being held by Anitha & crying out & he just could not move out from that situation !!!
Gopi heard her Ahemji consoling Anitha saying that all of us were there for her. She saw Anitha reconfirming saying that he was there for her & when she saw both their hands together, it pained her heart. She could no longer stand there & walked away from the place with a heavy heart. But is she ready to give up on her marriage, no...she trusts him & still sees hope in her love for her Ahemji & his love for him. Though her mind is ready to believe what she is seeing that it is because of responsibility he there, her heart is not in concurrence with it as she had seen him love her & express his love for her in different ways. With every situation, it is a fight which is going in her !!!
Ahem got up to see the room empty without her, he knew it that she would have returned very late into the room in the night & he did not want to waste another moment away from her. He smsed his apology , so that she would comeback to their room, to him & he would ask her for her forgiveness in the privacy of their room where only both would exist. He realised that her cell was in the room only. He walked out to search for her & asked meethi to give it to her.
As Gopi read Ahem's message, she could no longer stay angry or upset with him. All her doubts just vanished away with just a message from him which told her how much he cared for her & how much he loved her. Her heart won the battel over her mind & she was just ready to go back to him, to be with him. But with Rashi stopping her, though she did not want to follow it, she agreed as somewhere in her heart she wanted him to share his love with her, she wanted him to acknowledge her as his wife, she wanted him to tell her how much it effected him when she was angry. She wanted him to pacify her & just love her & clear her mind which was troubling her !!!
As Ahem saw the message Nahin, he realised his wife was really hurt & this was the 1st time his wife did not forgive him. He was confused on what he could do to pacify her.At the breakfast he saw her maintaining her distance & he was hurt & did not know how he could pacify her. At the same breakfast table, he had once refused to eat the pulav she had made the nextday after holi, which was appreciated by everyone & even he had liked it. His mom had to actually force him to have another serving. Today for the 1st time, he did not ask his wife to serve him for he cared for her feelings, he could not stop himself from having the food made by his wife to tell her how much he appreciated her & how much he loves her taking care of him & his family & when Anitha was handing him the bowl the only thought which were going thru him were his wife's feelings. He knew that was her responsibility & as much as she does not like it being taken away from her , he also did not like anyone else taking care of him !!!
He saw Gopi asking Anitha to have her breakfast & serving him the pickle & it gave him hope that yes she was finally with him. But as he got up to say bye to her, he saw her walking away without even bothering to wait for his bye. The 1st time Ahem said bye to Gopi was when nani was around then just as a formality so that the old lady did not suspect the reality of their situation & with time during their courting period, he would just acknowledge her with his eyes & she would understand & with falling in love with her, as much as he wished everyone, there was a special wish just for her as he left for office & she waited for the special wish from him everyday. Today with her not being there for him, he was hurt. He wants to ask her to forgive him & move him out of this punishment as he just cannot live any further without her, his love.
Will Ahem be able to pacify his upset wife. will he make it special for her when he asks for her forgivesness?? What Ahem had done to his wife at the start of his marriage is what he is undergoing now. He knows he has done a mistake, like her literacy & she is punishing him as he had done then. One moment she is next to him, the other moment she walks away from him & he is confused what he can do to pacify her as she was when he took out his anger on her in the past. He in unable to reach her heart even after trying similar to what she had undergone. As they say, what goes around comes back !!!
