I respectfully disagree, Harini. The tears should have been just for Gopi. They make sense just for Gopi and would have been beautiful just for Gopi, and not for a past love. This wasn't the right time or place or person to show them. It wouldn't have the same impact when they show his tears for Gopi in future. The CV's got it wrong this time.

- went away and stayed quite, it was pathetic and disheartening to see Ahem's character being minced and made meatballs and made a soup of it...

- when he confesses or hugs gopi... he will be the sugary sweet, chocolate pie...and he will be the vanilla ice cream

-this is what i feel is hypocrisy

- when he hurt his ex-girlfriend ..broke her heart,..it was not an amicable break-up.. being a truthful and honest person.. i expected him to be sad and guilt and the guy went ahead with the same expressions of sadness guilt and tears... had i not seen tears in Ahem's eyes for his past hurt and guilt today... I would not be here defending him and i would not have liked his character...

-how many years it might be ... the way you break up will always bring back the hurt and pain.. if you are human enough you will feel the pain... if he was not human enough... he would not even care to look at her.. he would just have his hand on his wife's waist and be sipping a soft drink in the wedding hall... and that is definitely not the Ahem Modi i want to see...he has to feel the hurt and pain he caused to anyone... in the past...not only Anita

- Hypothetically ... if everything was said and done.. that is confession and proper SR was over.. then comes Anita... gopi would be more hurt than now.. the same guilt and hurt would haunt Ahem... this is only for hurting Anita... so it would return anytime later...

but now is the best time... he will get over the past get a closure.. gopi will know Ahem's closure on his past.. she will have a closure and be secure with out the apprehensions of ever facing Ahem's past again

Anita will have a closure - Ahem and Gopi are happy in love and marriage ..she will go her way

if Ahem shed tears for Anita why are these tears misinterpreted.. why is his character maligned...

Ahem to me is doing perfectly brilliant and i expect any person to do what Ahem is doing

Varshu, Moist eyes for Anita did not feel right? His moist eyes made me make this post. It took me straight to apology land 😳. He had yelled at Gopi and has surely been not fair to her actually wronged her but he too was wronged. Being forced into a relation is never a desirable thing and that to with an illeterate is absolute no for a qualified man like Ahem. Gopi was not only uneducated but was very naive( laptop washing) had no confidence and could not string complete sentence properly and was always crying and simpering. I guess life challenges us all the time. I would say after throwing a tantrum did actually embrace the challenge Gopi😛. Maybe he was reluctant in the beginning but was amazed by her truthfulness and loyalty, so went all out and met the challenge and worked steadily with it and made that his strength and transferred his strength to her. Once he realized her problem ...He immediately decided that he'll free her of her useless anxiety and pull her out of her depressed thoughts. And you know what it did to GOPI?? It surely enhanced her self-esteem in many folds and give her hope for the wonderful future. 😳 Today tears for Gopi are not mandatory as he is completely unaware of all the kalakaries. But today he is a sensible, dignified, and responsible gentleman, facing a girl who he has wronged for no fault of hers.
hence the tears for Anitha are completely justified and shows his innate goodness😳
