every time i see those early epi i think of my uncle.
he is around 40 something.
when he was young, he was the smartest and handsome man at our place. most girls used to drool over him. him mom went and arranged marriage with a girl who was not so educated, bit fat and dark in complexsion, the dowry was huger. just like aham he tried to adjust but could not come to live with her finally he threw her out. he is still single and does not even regreat his deed.
but aham is not like that he had understood the nature of gopi and started to see her like his wife.
he is better than jigar, now but i cant accept it he was llike that from the begining.

shruti ... that is the whole problem with human thinking...

one black spot in a man... 50 years later also we will still not forget the person's one mistake... all his good deeds will be overshadowed by just one black spot for the rest of his life...

Ahemji will have to carry the baggage of this even after he goes through severe repentance and everything
here we are not trying to compare jigars good points to match Ahemji's good points
instead to make jigar a better person ...we are pointing out the bad deeds of Ahemji😕 ...

we are pulling Ahemji down with his -ve thing rather than highlighting his positives and then comparing both of them

it's easy to remember a person for bad deeds rather than good deeds...
that is why ghodse is as famous as Gandhiji ...because his one bad deed gave him the equal name and fame of Gandhiji though in a wrong way

sorry for the ramble😕

I want to say that Jigar didn't do any of the things that Ahem did to Gopi because, one he does not have the guts to make such a decision. If he did, then he would have been the one to throw her out of the house. And out of their room. Up until now he has let his pants lead him as far as Rashi is concerned. He forgave her and yet she is using him and his mom and they are too stupid to see it😡

I can justify Ahem's behavior in one way only...he never led Gopi into false hopes. He let her know from the get go he was not interested in her or wanted to have anything to do with her. He was honest and always made sure she knew it. And to top it all, he still cared for her when she was hurt. That is humanity...
To run a family and a home you need to have someone like Ahem or Kokila. If Jigar had the run of the house, I know for a fact Rashi would be the puppeteer and the other family members her puppets...like right now she is the puppeteer to her MIL and husband😕

Over I do feel Ahem to be a better husband. When he hates he does so with honesty and when he loves he loves with heart and soul...😳
You don't know where I live, right?😆

@Munni.. Very well put.. One bad deed and it will follow you to the grave..😭

Aham's one slap and he will be haunted for eons to come.. It was not an act we can forget. Yes.

But what we have to realize is that if Aham has continued in the same vein we will not be here discussing him. He changed and that has made him all the more adorable.

The changes in him are making him grow as a human being, a perfect friend, husband, son, brother and a family man. While I can see no such development with Jigar. Except for concentrating more on work, Jigar is the same with his love and relations. We learn from our mistakes so that we don't repeat them. Aham did.. He will not repeat them again..
So by the time he confesses his love to Gopi, Aham will have repented totally for his errors. He will strive to be a better person. But will Jigar learn if he again has a chance to see Rashi's true face again? Very much questionable going by history 😕

harini ...i can see your point and it's very true...
people learn from mistakes ...Ahemji is learning...and very true he will never ever repeat the same mistake ... jigar i donno ...😕

but 2 years down the lane...when there is a discussion here on the SNS forum...
again the same slap scene will pull him down... even though he might be a best husband, best son, brother and the best dad... he still has to live with it...forever ...and that is my fear and apprehension...

Munni.. That is part and parcel of life and the characters.. The words once said and an arrow that leaves a bow cannot be taken back.. But then again mistakes make a man. So although the blot will remain throughout Aham will be a better person..
We may say he was once completely wrong but the present will not raise any questions.
