But as for her just being brainless, spoiled brat, I do not agree... And here are the reasons..

Rashi's upbringing does play a role I know but I do not think nurture is everything for the person she is. If so Gopi would have been docile but still evil like her maami.. But Gopi chose to be good.

Rashi has had opportunities to go to school and college and hence is knowledgeable to recognize good from evil. It is just that she does only things that suit her needs.

And finally choice.. After a certain age, it is your choice that makes you who you are and the excuse that your parents are the reason for what you have become does not hold good. It is Rashi's choice to go to her mother every time whining and be selfish all the time. It is her choice to hurt the others for her own selfish gains.. I don't think she is stupid because if she is she will not be able to execute her plans. She is intelligent but she uses it for her own gains irrespective of the effects it has on the others.

To the points where you found her having a small blip of consciousness, it was more because she was afraid of being caught than being sorry for what she was doing. Sorry but even on Gopi's B'Day I do not think her concern at what she was doing was anything at all. It was more about her fear that in Gopi's distress she would reveal this to say Koki by which Rashi will be caught that seemed to make her feel concerned..

So in conclusion although I hope she becomes good and Jigar has his happily ever after, but I will not be able to believe it. It may end that way but the CVs have made a great mistake already in showing Rashi so very cruel that it is difficult to see her redeemed.

On the upbringing issue I have to disagree with you. I have studies social work and have taken a curse regarding this so I can tell you that it is true that at some point children reach a stage at which they can deceide for themselves as what they perceive as acceptable behaviour but this very much influenced by their upbringing. The best example I can give you is the example of different manners, which are taught to the children. In Japan for instence is it good manners to make a lot of noices while eating and to burb at the end of it to show that you liked the food. In Germany this would be seen as the worsed table manners ever. However our upbringing taught as to see it in these lights. As good manners or as bad manners depending on where you grew up 😊

The way I see Urmi she has made sure to poison Rashi's mind or teach her the way of the world as she sees it from very early on. She has used every mean to do that. Properly fiiling her head with lies so that she believed that what her mother does is right and just. In regards to Gopi this has not happen. Urmi did not go to her and tell her evil plans or tell her that you have to act in that way to be successful. She has only told her to work, to be grateful to have been taking into the family and so on. Also Jitu was much closer to her and therefore had a good influence on Gopi as had her believe in her Khana ji. Rashi didn't have those. Of course Rashi and Gopi are different by nature as well. And that if there places where swapped their personallity wouldn't have but still. Upbringing played a very big part.

But of course I find it very hard for the cv's to show Rashi redeeming herself properly. If it is true and it only starts a week before the end of SNS it won't be believable to me either. This needs time to happen and to be accepted by others.

But when a German goes to Japan or vice versa they learn to adapt & love that culture...which I do not see in Rashi !!!

She realised that Urmi cannot provide it...she realised they did not have chawal when she was in rajpal nagar & Jigar can provide all the material comforts hence she is forced to include him in the list !!!
