It is made out of plant roots, and the add lots of Copper dishes to it to make it very intoxicating.

I had a discussion over this few days back with some friends.

I actually saw it made when I was little and living in India. My mom's brother and Sisters-in-law got drunk on it and acted out all night.😆 One of my best memories of childhood.

Thanks for the info shilpa , I didn't know dat , but like u I also want to see urshi drink this , and some of the kalakaries can come out. I will just laugh myself sick if urshi gets high on the bhang ,that will be poetic justice for what they are doing.
