A great post rupal and a great reply Shilpa...awesome Thesis!😊👍🏼

Gopi - By nature soft, sweet and humble! God gifted with innocence, forgiving nature and a big heart!

Rashi - By nature cunning, selfish and self praising! God-gifted with being dumb, evil will, jealousy and small heart!

But only one things stands in between Rashi's forgoing her evilness...Urmi. For if Urmi isn't there, ...she does some good stuff and thinks little good when in Gopi's company...seen few examples in some epis. This is I guess nurture...a person with big heart like Gopi can bring about in such a small time span. See the way Gopi has changed Ahem 360degrees! But can't do so in case of Rashi for her biggest drawback is her dumbness🤢so she starts following whatever Urmi says, and even if she contradicts her, she remembers Urmi's words when things don't go her way! Now i think there's no hope for her. She was born dumb and will live dumb😆

yeah Harini...Gopi worships Ahem and we have seen enough proof of it😊

Nature & Nuture are definetly 2 important things in a person's life...everyone is born with nature but with nuture thru different ways such as parental guidance, education , own understanding either compliments an individual nature & allows it to grow or completely breaks down the nature of an individual good or bad...
For Rashi, nuture plays an important role...her mothers guidance, her education & everything she believes that for her happiness she should never bother about anything or how low one can go...& her nature is in between good & bad!!! It was in her mothers hand to nuture her to be good but she ignored that part & nutured her bad part !!! Anyday nuture if it does not support your nature the person will end up being unhappy...& undecided at time...hence Rashi sometimes displays a minimal traits of being good & is unhappy with it...
For Gopi, she never had nuture or education hence the Nature she has has been intact & it shows pure love to people all around her...she looks & believes in the good the person is & supports that person !!! For Gopi nature & nuture are one & hence she has no problems in letting anyone knowing her feelings & she stands for it !!!

very nice post roopal👏 loved it.. discussed it with hubby... awesome post

my take😃

Nature Vs Nurture has been a very long and debatable topic for over many many years and still being studied...

- Nature:
Nature does have an integral role that is being proved scientifically...but not completely...to conflict that we have
-Karna born to good people Kunti and Sun god, turned to be evil due to nurture or rather friendship from dhuryodana (here he is on the wrong side due to his friendship...)
- Similarly Bharata of Ramayan is born to a very selfish and self centered woman kaikeyi, here dasharatha also just gave into his wifes' words (we can see jithu here...not fighting or standing up)...but bharatha was a selfless and loving brother. (here he got his goodness from his brothers and teachers)
- all these terrorists... their parents need not be evil,,,, but they were affected by the society or friends..so now we take a look at nurture

Nurture:
-Rashi has gone to school, college, in that case she spends less than 10 % time with her mom in a day..and more time with friends
-she is exposed to lot many factors than gopi, she is faced with good (gopi) and evil (urmi) and friends as well - here she chose to be evil
- here we may note, the time being spent with urmi(10% of her day) may be more than the time spent with gopi...but she spent most of her time out in school/college with friends
-society has good and bad in it , it throws u with both in equal amounts..it's ur choice what u want to take from it
-Gopi has always stayed home(urmi) and in mandir(panditji)...she is exposed to both good and evil, she chose to be good
-there is nothing like forcing a person to be good or bad...unless in extreme cases (like terrorist groups) ..
- so that leads to choice of what want u want to be

Choice/decision/intellect/conscience
-Rashi chose to be bad, because it is easy way of getting what you want..Her conscience or intellect never warned her when doing bad
- Gopi sticked to goodness, how much ever it might be difficult to hold on to it...her conscience and intellect does not allow her to do or think bad

My Conclusion: (purely my opinion)
-At the end , it is nothing but Rashi's conscience is which is to be blamed...
-Nature, Nurture has it's share..but at the end of the day ..she is a human being (very inhuman in nature) with intellect to differentiate good and bad and she is soley responsible for everything
- i do not blame urmi or jithu for her being evil...it's rashi who is to be blamed solely as she has to think what is right and wrong
- now don't say rashi does not have intelligence and she is getting affected .. when she does not have intelligence...how is she thinking, planning and executing all the kalakries...
-she is intelligent enough to think about good and bad... but she chose to be bad at the end

P.S:very very sorry for the long rant... couldn't fit this in a small para😉

Not to change the subject or anything...but I would like to see something bloom under them😳

Now your talking Rupal...the wait is long and tedious and urshi get in the way making me irritable (na just jokin)
to your nature nurture debate...I guess in reality science has proven that you are a result of both and how they mix is no given formula
for fictious charactors however it is hard to judge as they are created by a human who we have no idea if they paid attention to this when they built a charactor...
so after that disclaimer I am going to say that Gopi display the charactoristics of someone who has been severely abused...(which I guess points to nurture or lack of)...
