Hi friends😊

Here's the update and I hope you don't get bored and like it. Not having much of Gohem for whole week, this is one thing that keeps us alive and going. I have tried to develop the story keeping the basic attributes of my favorite characters Ahem and Gopi in mind, though with little changes here and there. i will bring in the rest of characters into the plot slowly in further parts, thats when you all would like it!😳Thanks to all.😊

Part 2 Contd.

Gopi didn't feel like going to the college after sleeping so late. This was her third year in the college so one more to go. All she wanted in life was to study and have a great career. Since childhood that had been her biggest dream for creating a place and name for herself in the society, to be able to stand in the crowd. Her brother Dhawal had been a big helping hand in achieving all this and with her bhabhi Kinjal things seem to happen even much better. But only laments she had from life was not having her parents with her at any point of time. She was always on the mercy of her Urmi mami in whose eyes she was always like a thorn.

But Urmi's only son Dhawal made sure that his small sis did not have to bear the torture of Urmi anymore for he also couldn't reply back to her sharp tongue. So he decided to send her away to the hostel in Delhi so that she could study well, without any interference and stand on her own. Gopi wanted to be an IIS officer and with her intelligence and hard work she had no doubts on achieving her mission.

So here she was in Delhi fighting life with her sheer will power to stand on her own. Jigar, Urmi's nephew loved her cousin even more than Dhawal for her innocence and simple ways and called her often to spend a couple of days at his home.

Gopi had a very difficult life as regards to her finances and she didn't want to be a burden on anyone, so she never asked for help from anyone, just her Kanhaji who were always there to guide and support her. Even for the trying circumstances in her life, she never complained and always tried to look at the positive side of the life. And she never believed in love or such things. These things never mattered to her, she refrained from getting involved in them like anything. All that mattered to her was her career, her education for which she wanted the best in life.

But what was happening to her today. It was just a few minutes meeting. And why was she lost like this? What was going in her mind. She had never felt like this ever before. A fluttering feeling wasn't letting her mind rest at peace...so she thought why not log in the computer and pass her free time.

Ahem had just returned from the college after a busy day. After having his favourite green tea with lemon and honey, he sat down in front of his system for he felt as if someone was calling him from a far off place! He didn't know who but it was a very different feeling which he had never experienced before.

And he hadn't been able to forget Gopi since last night. How bad she must have felt, he thought. When he opened the Facebook account, he saw his friend Jigar's ID and looked in his long list of friends. There she was, Gopi! He sent a message to add her as a friend and to his surprise got an immediate reply of acceptance as well.

Ahem: You there.

Gopi: Yeah I am very much here. How are you doing?

Ahem: I am fine. Just came from college, had a busy day.

Gopi: I didn't go at all. Had slept late so didn't feel like.

Ahem: So you skip college just like that! Bad girl.

Gopi: What's so bad about it? Had just two boring classes today. J

Ahem: I never miss a single class and if I ever do, my mom comes after me with a baton in hand.L

Gopi: Hahahahah!! So you mama's boy right...poor you! J

Ahem: What's wrong in being so? I feel good to abide her!

Gopi: Okai fine! Great going...what else?

Ahem: I wanted to say sorry for being so rude yester!

Gopi: Don't feel bad! I have forgotten it already, have a small brain...hehehehe!

Ahem: Hmmn...good for you and for everyone else too!

Gopi: What do you think of yourself? Einstein? Hahahahaa...

Ahem: Yeah you are right! Indeed I think that!

Gopi: Okai Mr. Einstein, what do you like and dislike? What do you do? Where are you from?

Ahem: Hmmn...so many questions...why you want to marry me? :p

Gopi: Bad joke! I asked just like that.

Ahem: Okai! I was just pulling your legs...:p. I am a workaholic, study a lot,...am a big foodie as well and love to eat good food, surf a lot on the laptop, go for walks and exercise every day, like to have an organized life and clean surroundings. Now about to finish with studies and ready to submit my project. And from Rajkot in Gujarat. Got your answers! Now am I eligible?:P What about you?

Gopi: Grrr!!!You started again with your bad jokes...I am in third year of my studies and am from Delhi. I also like to study a lot, am a bookworm...love to worship my Kanhaji...and don't know much of cooking. I love to have a clean and organized home as well. And I talk a lot.

Ahem: That is cool enough.

Ahem kept on chatting with her for 4-5 hours and didn't realize the time. It was very surprising for him that otherwise he used to talk so less but with her time flew by like anything. He was enjoying talking to her as though she was bringing out the mischievous element in him. He was loving to tease her and make fun of her. As if he knew her from a long long time and now just wanted to spend time with her. But since he was a very practical and reserved guy, he didn't open up much as this was just the beginning. But somewhere in his heart he felt as if he would only marry her. But he wanted to take his time!

And this second chat had just blown away Gopi like anything. She was going crazy for him and just wanted to talk and talk to only him. While talking to him, time flew by like anything. His humorous ways and pulling her legs all the time made her feel so good, refreshing and happy.

But after this meet on chat he got so busy in his project that he could barely find time to chat with her. And she also didn't have internet connection in her college so she also couldn't do. He was a different kind of person. He didn't believe in talking on phone with friends, nor had he made any. But he made sure to call his mom twice a week to tell her about his latest happenings.

Ahem continued chatting with her on weekends whenever they had time or otherwise she used to write long mails for him. Ahem loved to see long mails from Gopi and the way she used to write so beautifully. She was very expressive in her feelings while he was not and kept things hidden deep in his heart.

It was almost two months since they had started chatting and mailing each other. It was as if he had known her since so long! But still he wanted things to go slow at their pace and didn't want to commit anything. He liked her so much and thought that she would be perfect for his family but didn't want to take any chances.

Whilst Gopi had fallen so badly for him, she was going crazy for him. She had always thought everything with her heart, not letting her mind play any role. She felt as if their souls had been waiting since so long to be with each other to be one. And when she talked to him, he never revealed anything but somehow she felt that he also felt the same for her, right from the day they had met. But he just didn't say anything of his feelings.

Unable to meet him on chat for one whole week, she was going crazy. So she wrote another mail for him. "Hello! How are you? Long time you didn't send a single mail. And didn't even come for chat. What happened? I am missing you very badly. I don't know whether I should say this to you or not but I can't live without you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You have occupied my heart, soul and mind and I can never ever imagine a life without you. I could not stop myself from saying this as I feel so strongly for you."

Though she had sent this mail to him but her heart was sinking with nervousness at this bold step of hers. She had never ever dreamt of doing something like this but she just could not help it. As if some unknown power had gripped her.

Getting such a mail from Gopi initially came as a surprise for him. But Ahem was also pleased to see how much she loved him. This girl is crazy and didn't think before proposing me. I should have been the one to do so but I guess her love for me surpassed everything. But how can I say yes even if I wanted to be with her from day one as still my family is there. What my mom would say and how everyone would react, I have to consider so many things. She is still unaware of so many things but I am not.

I know things change a lot after getting married and she would have to bring lots of changes in her to adjust with my family. After much pondering, he decided to reply her back.

"Gopi...I know how you feel for me and I respect that. But these decisions are very big in life and we simply cannot take them in a hurry bypassing everything. Our families are there and we have to consider them as well before taking a step further. So you should not take a hasty decision and then repent in future."

She was disheartened at receiving his reply. She had the gut feeling that he loved her but why he wasn't showing it. It was fine that his family was very important for him and his priority but how could he not think with his heart? How could he have such a control over his mind? How could he be so practical even in falling in love? He didn't utter a single word about his feelings for her and she could never be wrong in judging him. These questions were terrorizing her mind like anything.

But she also could not force him for anything as love cannot happen by force. So she decided to send him another mail.

"I respect you for what you think. And I should not come in your ways I feel. I told you what I felt for you and don't want to trouble you anymore now. I will not send you another mail after this and won't interfere in your life. Sorry for all the inconvenience I caused you."

When Ahem received this mail, he felt as if his heart sank. The thought of losing her just made him die. He also could not live without her and loved her so much but then he also could not commit to her so soon. It was a question of just not their lives but both of their families as well. He wrote her another mail.

"Gopi...I am sorry if I hurt you. But if that's the way you think then let it be. I will not stop you from doing what you want. But one thing I want to let you know. In future whenever possible, I would meet you at least once in life whether you would allow me or not. And you have to agree to this. And we can at least stay as friends right!"

Gopi got her answer. She realized that he is also in love with her but simply not accepting it. Maybe he has his own apprehensions which he wants to clear up. But I also love him and won't let him go so easily. He would have to confess his love for me and I 'll make sure of it happens.

"Okai we can be friends...no issues with that. Whatever you want is fine with me too. Lets take it easy." She mailed her reply to him.

Ahem was so relaxed to see her mail as if he had been blessed with a new life. Now he had to start his real job. The job of telling his mom and his family about his love. How she would react to all of this and would they accept her and let him have his love. He was so nervous and anxious of what was going to happen in his life and how he would sort out everything the way he wanted to. And if they didn't accept her, he also could not do anything about it but would just have to forget her.

Hey Shruti wonderful update...Ahem wants his family to accept especially his mom & only then reciprocate his love...In the meantime if Gopi's wedding gets fixed...what will he do ?? How can he control love...love flows freely wih no barriers...& if encounters barriers it breaks them down or dies if the barriers are strong...so will Ahem go thru it...or will the barriers kill Gopi's love & Ahem realises he is little 2 late !!!
