OK...So this update is needed to make everyone feel better...

The next day Ahem was watching Gopi making breakfast and knew she was still thinking of his mom. He wished he could just take Gopi to her and get it all over with. He missed her as well. But Ahem could not live without his love and his mom had to come to terms with that. Ahem could only pray for his mom to forgive them both and bring them both back home. Ahem went to where Gopi was and hugged her from behind and rested his chin on her shoulders. He said Jaan, I know you are missing mom and I miss her too. But if you continue to think about only her and not me I am going to miss breakfast before I have to go to the office. Those words snapped Gopi out of her thoughts and said it is ready. I'm sorry, go sit and I will give it to you. Ahem turned Gopi around in his arms and hugged her and said I love you Mrs. Gopi Ahem Modi. And your smile is all I need to start my day the right way. He looked down at Gopi and she was blushing but smiling. He took in her beauty and heaved a sigh of relief. He still had the same effect on her. He cupped her face and leaned in for a very long steamy passionate kiss. They stood there for a good 5 minutes just taking in each others smell, feel and kisses. Ahem broke the kiss and said I don't think you want me to go to the office today. Gopi looked at him in a stern manner and said Mr. Modi you will only receive love from your wife if you continue to be a success and make a bigger name for yourself. Because Maji's dream is my dream. Now go sit and eat your breakfast. Ahem kissed her on the forehead and said Yes madam boss. And went to the table smiling. Gopi served him and they ate off the same plate. Afterwards Gopi walked Ahem to the door and they had another long steamy kiss before Ahem left to go to work. Gopi stood by the doorway watching his car leave until it was out of sight. She shut the door and started her daily routine of cleaning and cooking lunch to send to her Ahemji. When the worker from the office arrived to take the tiffin it was all ready. Gopi decided to relax...she still had another few hours before she had to worry about dinner. Ahem had called quite a few times already. She felt so lucky and finally happy. Ahem would call and just say I love you and I miss your arms around me...It would make Gopi smile all day. This is the kind of love she had always dreamed about. And it was here for her taking. All of a sudden she had a thought that what if someone tries to break us up? She went to the mandir she had set up and prayed to her Khanaji to protect her Ahemji and their new found love. She felt at peace. She then went into her bedroom and all she could smell was Ahemji and their love making. She missed him like crazy. She wished he would come home soon so she could love him over and over again. As if on time she heard the doorbell ring and ran thinking that it was Ahem. She flew open the door without looking to see who it was. And there stood Urmi. Gopi's smile faded and a dread spread all over her. She now really wished her Ahemji was here. Urmi walked in without a invite and started to look around. She wanted to make sure Gopi was alone before she started her ranting. When Urmi was satisfied she turned around and threw a strong and hard slap across Gopi's face. Gopi taken by surprise fell to the ground and started weeping and said what did I do now mamiji? I left that house and now Rashi ben is the only DIL there. Her mami looked at her and pointing a finger into her face said you may have left but you have taken all the happiness away with you. You are a manhoos and all you are capable of giving is greif to everyone around you. Don't live in this dream that you make Ahem happy. He is lost in his physical attraction. And thats it. Gopi wanted to run to her Ahemji and have him tell her that was not true. Her self esteem was breaking and her happiness as she knew it was fading. Urmi told her you are a nobody. You have no family. You killed your own parents and now you are after my daughters happiness. I wil kill you before I let that happen..Understand!!! Gopi joined her hands together and begged for forgiveness from her mami and all she got was a kick in her stomach. It just so happened that Parag bhai had walked in and heard it all but was a little late in stopping the kick. He heard the scream and felt his whole inside break. He yelled at Urmi and said how dare you come into our home and insult my DIL? Who the hell do you think you are? She has brought nothing but luck to us since the day she entered our home. It is you and your daughters kalakaries that made her look bad. If you want to see a manhoos face I suggest you go look at your daughter and then at yourself in the mirror. Saying that he bent down and picked up his broken DIL off the floor and hugged her to him. He caresses her face where he could tell a slap had landed. He then said you better get out of here before I call the police. Urmi scared out of her wits ran like she was running for her life. Gopi was crying so much that Parag feared she may fall sick. He immediately called his brother and told him all that happened. And then Chirag went to Ahem's office and told Ahem what happened and also said I will take your work load for today go and see Gopi. Ahem ran from there scared to death that he would be facing the old Gopi who had no self esteem. He had worked really hard to convience her of her worth to him and his family. And now this Urmi had to go and screw it all up. He wished Urmi was on the road right now as he would run her over and not think twice or even regret it. When he arrived home his dad told him Gopi cried herself to sleep and he stayed with her till then. Ahem thanked his dad and went to see his wife. When he walked in and the sight he saw broke his heart into a million pieces. She was laying on the bed in a fetal position still crying. He went to her and gathered her in his arms and held her in his lap. He kissed her on the head and cried with her. He could not see her going thru all this all over again. He saw the slap marks on her face and had a FB of how he himself had done this to her. And that made him cry more for her. He put her down next to him and went to tell his dad that she is not going to be waking up any time soon, and that he was going to stay with her till then. His dad said I understand and don't worry I will keep myself busy here. If you need anything just ask. Ahem hugged his dad and went and layed down next to his wife. He held her gently and kissed her cheeks before settling his head on the pillow. He caressed her and told her I love you in her ears hoping she heard him. In time the crying stopped and she seemed to relax a little. He looked down to see her eyes were open but there was no one there. She looked empty and completely lost to everyone. He put his finger under her chin and made her look at him and said hi beautiful. How is my love doing? She looked at him and suddenly realizing who it was hugged him tight and cried again. She kept telling him how sorry she was. That she caused the rift between him and his mom. Ahem held her for a while and let her cry till she could cry no more. He made her look at him again and kissed her on the lips and said do your mami's words mean more to you than mine? Gopi sat up and said no...you are my world Ahemji. So Ahem said then why did you believe her? I love you and I will never leave you. And the fact that my mom is not talking to us right now is her problem not yours. You tried everything Gopi. And I feel I am the luckiest man alive. He held her face with one hand and brought her closer to kiss her again. Their kiss had started out tender and for comfort but soon it turned deep and meaningful. Ahem and Gopi held each other and kissed each other and made each other forget all the bad things that went on that day. After a while Ahem said Papa is outside and I think we should go to him. He is really worried about you Gopi. Gopi said let me get fresh and I will come...till then you go. And with that another peck on the lips and they separated. When Ahem came outside his dad was on the phone talking to someone about some kind of legal work. When the phone call ended Parag said I have got an restraining order to keep UrShi away from here. If they are spotted anywhere within a mile they will be arrested. Ahem just smiled at his dad and said thanks Papa. Parag then went to his son and said Ahem dikra Gopi is like a daughter to me and I also was hurt seeing her this way today. Gopi had just come out and heard her FIL and went to him and hugged him and said I am fine Papaji. Parag patted her cheek and said I see that. Gopi please don't believe everything your mami said to you today. We have never felt that way. Infact you are the reason I now have a nice relationship with my son...so how can you be unlucky. Gopi smiled and said jee Papaji. She then assured them she was ok and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Ahem stopped her and said lets eat out. Ahem looked at his Papa who got the hint and said yes I want to eat something from outside. This home made cooking is too healthy. Lets go get something and saying that all three left. The next couple of day went by without any incident. Parag stayed close to Gopi and Ahem was more than thankful. Chirag bhai had also come home and assured Gopi she was the reason for their happiness. Hearing all this Gopi felt empowered again and thought if mami came I may be able to answer her this time...but I prefer she stay away from here. Gopi and Parag were having their afternoon tea and Gopi said I forgot to tell you Papa...but I saw Maji here a few days ago. And then Gopi related the story to him. Parag asked which day did you say? And Gopi thought about it and said a few days Papaji. Parag then told her what had happened at the Modi house a few days ago and the decision Koki took.

Koki was in her room when Rashi entered and said Kakiji did you want to eat something special for lunch or shall I make what I feel like. Koki looked at her and said do what you want and leave me alone. Rashi with a very cunning smile went away and called her mom to say Kagdi was down and this would be a good time to strike. Urmi came to the MM that afternoon and asked to talk to Koki. Hetal was a little skeptical but felt she was overreacting and let Urmi visit Koki. When Urmi entered the room she looked around and said how do you feel vevanji? I mean you lost a son because of your dear DIL. And here you are in this big house with no support. So where is your mahanta that you are always boasting about? Koki wanted to answet but was too week emotionally. She just said to Urmi...Jai Shree Krishna Urmilaben. Please go visit your daughter and then you can go. But please don't try and converse with me. Urmi with a wicked smile said I didn't want to talk to you anyways, I just wanted to say this is what happens to people who think too highly of themselves. You should have stayed on this earth instead of floating in air. You deserve to rot all alone here and I hope you learned your lesson to never cross paths with me or my daughter again. Koki felt too broken. She knew she could answer but felt it wasn't worth it. She walked into the bathroom and waited till she heard Urmi leave. She came out and shut her bedroom door and cried her heart out. All she ever wanted was her son to be successful and not a house husband like her husband. She wanted to have her son become something that every one feared and yet admired. And what was wrong with that? All she was upset about was that Gopi vau distracted her Ahem from working and finishing his projcets. She didn't think she did anything wrong and yet every one around her treated her like the plague. Every one was nice to her but she could see right thru them. She decided to leave this house and go stay with her mother. When Parag came home and saw Koki packing he asked what happened? And Koki told him about Urmi's visit and said I am no longer needed or wanted here so I am going to my Ma's home. I don't know when I will return or if I will. Parag stood in front of Koki and said in a pleading voice...you want to leave me here alone? Koki you are always upset with me and yet I know deep down you love me and need to have me around you as much as I need you with me. Koki had tears in her eyes. She knew what he said was the truth and yet she refused to let him see her pain. She sucked up her tears and looked at him and said you have never needed me and don't be under the impression I need you. So please excuse me. She then went downstairs with Parag right behind her trying to stop her. Hetal came to where the comotion was and saw Koki with bags and asked what is going on? Koki bent and took Mota Bhabhi's ashirwaad and said I am going to my Ma's house indefinitely. I don't know if and when I will be back. Hetal asked what is all this about. And Koki looked at Rashi who was standing there with a smile on her face and said I am not needed here anymore Mota Bhabhi...please let me go and see my ma. Hetal told her she can go but she has to come back home and she won't hear anything otherwise. Koki just nodded and went to the door. Just before leaving she turned around and said I am going to ask the driver to drop me off. I am sorry as this is the only way for me to go. I will send him back ASAP. Hetal was going to say something but was too late. Koki had already left.

Back to now...

Parag said I stayed there for a while but I started to miss her and when I called she refused to let me come. So I came here instead. Gopi held her FIL's hand and said maybe this weekend all three of us can go and see Maji. I think Maji was wanting to come here but lost her courage at the last minute. Parag thought so too and said they would go and not call her. She would only tell them no. And so when the weekend came Ahem, Gopi and Parag left to go see Nani and Koki. Gopi was so happy she could not stop smiling. Ahem loved to see his wife so happy. He was mad as hell when Gopi relayed the story to him and he was going to make sure UrShi were kicked out and his mom was back home where she belonged. Ahem looked in the rear view mirror to see Gopi's smiling face and found her looking at him. He winked at her and she as always blushed and that made him smile. They reached Nani's house and Gopi took out the present she got for her Maji. It was a saree that Gopi picked out. And it wasn't yellow. They rang the doorbell and heard Koki mumbling who is it at this time of the day. And she flew the door open to see her husband, son and her DIL standing there with smiles on their faces... All three of them said Jai Shree Krishna at the same time to Koki...
